I loved everything about Montgomery Nails. The ladies were warm and wonderful. Very professional. The place was clean. It was one of the first nails salons I've ever been to that did not smell like chemicals! I could not have asked for better service. I was in need of some nurturing the afternoon I was there and I even got a hug from the woman who did my manicure. I felt welcome and my business and person valued. I will definitely return! I go to my usual nail salon every two weeks and this time I was in a hurry bc I was leaving for vacation and it was the only place open. Well, my gel fill ins were done awful!!!!! The owner of all people did my nails and they were horrendous. She didn't cut them and they just looked awful! 60 dollars later and super disappointed I went to my original salon the next morning bc I didn't want ugly nails for my trip. The lady I usually go to charged me less than half bc of the awful job from the previous night. Not only were my nails done horribly but now I have a fungus infection in my nails and toes!!! This has never in my last 15 years of getting my nails done that I have gotten an infection. Really upset and still dealing with it. I will never in a million years come back here or recommend this place to anyone. It is the only nail salon in town that is empty every single time I walk by! I moved away from Montgomery over 5 years ago and these ladies still remember me when I go back to visit. Montgomery Nails is the perfect little nail place. Walk in any time, and they will fit you in, even if they are busy. You never wait long ether. They are full service, at least to fit my needs. Manis, pedis, waxing, tips, etc. Everyone is friendly and professional. I always try to run in when I'm home for a visit. read more

Love this place! Nice staff, lovely music playing, and real quality service. The gel and standard manicures are great here. I got my nails done for my wedding, and my husband came along for a mani/pedi too! He loved it and they buffed his nails to a wonderful shine! I have to admit, the owner is a long time family friend of mine, but I feel so fortunate to live so close to her store now that I've moved to Belle Mead. Every time I've been there, she has her "regular" clientele who seem to really love coming. Came here on a whim b/c I've been going from salon to salon, never quite satisfied. Helen (owner) was so personable and great to chat with while my nails dried. Mary, who seems to be the other nail tech, didn't roll her eyes when I asked about disinfection, and at no extra charge, pulled out a little (disposable) green file and buffer. They let me dry as long as I wanted; a few days later, when I stepped in some blue tar-like schmutz that wouldn't come off with vigorous washing and scrubbing, Helen happily removed the polish on the affected toes, re-did them, and wouldn't take any money from me. Giving one star. Went for Pedicure. She forgot to apply aloe Vera gel and hot stone. Didn't take out callus properly. And I was kicked out at 6:30 pm telling me that my nails have dried and she sprayed on them. The moment I left all lights were closed and doors locked. They close at 7:30 pm on Saturdays. Absolutely not happy with this treatment. I have been going there since 4-5 years and this is the first time ever I felt cheated and insulted. I am never going back there again. read more

Love this place! I used to get a regular manicure and pedicure now I get a gel manicure with my pedicure. My nails always look fabulous and I love the staff. I have to brag about the pedicure because it includes so much. Exfoliant, liquid callus removal, massage, stone massage, paraffin treatment for your heels, aloe and hot towel. These are usually extras at other establishments. Additionally while drying they offer and a quick but effective neck and shoulder massage. This is a must visit. read more

They were able to take me in for a manicure and pedicure with no appointment and they were also very nice, but my manicure started chipping about 3-4 days after! They also didn't cut down my cuticles on the manicure for some reason so it looked sort of messy. My French manicure on my feet however, was great and is still holding up nicely 3 weeks later. read more

I called for an appt and the lady Helen said Manicure plus pedicure was $35. I got my pedicure done and they charged me $35. I got a full set of nails Helen charged me close to $100.00 I will not recommend this Salon. read more

This was my first visit to Montgomery Nails and it definitely will not be my last. I needed to get a pedicure and was amazed by the extras that came with it without an extra charge versus other places (callus remover is the only thing that costs extra). I waited a bit in the beginning (no biggie) but Helen apologized for my wait and comped my callus remover even though I didn't complain! Great customer service! read more

Third time there. My pedicurist talked to her co worker throughout my entire "massage" so I got no massage (I was charged for it, of course). She was looking at her friend as she chatted with her, and absent-mindedly rubbed both of my legs at the same time for all of 5 minutes. Uh, excuse me, you have a CLIENT in the chair. Then, she didn't remove all of my cuticle before a gel manicure and it looks messy. The owner tried to automatically add a 20 percent tip to my credit card and I thought this was pushy. I paid 60 bucks and was not happy. These places rely on RETURN business and word of mouth. I don't get it. I will never go back. read more
