I tried asking what region of Mexico were the dishes inspired by. In reviewing the menu I was confused, there was a very small selection of traditional Mexican dishes. Where was the Chili Verde, Carnitas, Birria, Pozole, Lengua, Chili Colorado, Tamales, Tostadas, just to name a few. I ended up getting the Chicken enchiladas with green sauce, cheese, cream and fresh onions and beans on the side. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed. My order came out and the enchiladas were actually Cold!!! Sent it back, when the order came back out they were hot. They had very little green sauce, lightly sprinkled cheese on top, none inside and cream and onion also on top. The chicken was shredded with a red color. I have to say that, because there was no sauce in the meat it was dry and I felt, it did not have flavor. The beans were actually not bad, I ate those with the chips. There were several groups of people in the restaurant enjoying themselves and appeared to be enjoying the food as well. However I feel if you want traditional Mexican food, like you would get in Baja region this is definitely NOT the place to go.

We saw a billboard off the highway for this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. Location is a little unsuspecting because it is dark and next to a dollar tree, but the interior is quite large and well decorated. We were seated right away, and the server gave us chips and salsa immediately. The chips were nice and fresh and warm, and the salsa was fantastic. ServerO is great. He gave us good recommendations and said that everything that has a hat on the menu is usually their most popular. As for the food, we ordered the fajitas mix. I had chicken, beef, and shrimp for two. It is about $27 and came with a lot of food. Definitely not for two, maybe even three. The rice plate came with rice, beans, avocado, as well as two sets of tortillas, which is about three each. It came in a serving plate and was overall pretty good. Would recommend getting again for the amount of food and the taste. We also ordered the torta. Unfortunately, for this one, it wasn't that great. The torta is just a sandwich, pretty much, with whatever kind of meat you have inside and some tomatoes and lettuce. We got the carne asada, but it was super dry and chewy. Would not recommend the carne asada and the torta. This one was about $13, I believe. In total, it was around 55 with tax and tip for a party of 4, so it was actually pretty well priced. We left pretty full, so I would recommend, but wouldn't say it was the best food we have had but good enough for us on the road drive back.

We craved a Mexican dinner, and the clerk's suggestion was right on. While overflowing with customers that evening, the staff found a quiet place on the patio for us to enjoy what would be a scrumptious meal. We both thoroughly enjoyed a Con Todo Burrito. Delicioiso and muy bonita. In addition, we were especially impressed with an attentive server who checked with us regularly to ensure our dining experience met the restaurant's expectations. Can say nothing negative about this restaurant. It became an oasis after a long road trip to visit a friend in need of our presence and our prayers.

The food came out very quickly. We had barely started eating our appetizer when our entrees arrived. We ordered the La Parilla dip appetizer. It's a thinner cheese dip with steak, chicken and shrimp and is served with flour or corn tortillas. We ate the meat with some of the cheese sauce on the tortillas that came with it. We also dipped our tortilla chips in the cheese sauce. Hubby drizzled some on his Mexican rice and loved it that way, too. Hubby ordered the steak burrito again. It's covered in cheese and is served with Mexican rice and refried beans, which are both very good. The steak in the burrito tastes like it came from a good steakhouse. I ordered the carnitas platter which came with large chunks of pork carnitas in a green sauce. This is different from other carnitas I've eaten as they are usually served in the jus. It was delicious! It does have a little heat so if your taste buds are sensitive, ask if they can prepare a mild version. The carnitas are served with Mexican rice and their delicious Charro beans. If you haven't tried these beans, you should! Be sure to ask for a spoon for the beans. You won't want to waste a drop They have plenty of onsite parking on 3 sides of the building. We've never had to wait for a table here even when the parking lot is pretty full.
