I decided to try El Rincon, based on reviews. The young man at the front was very friendly. The…read moreyoung lady taking my order was unable to provide recommendations or answer questions. I tried asking what region of Mexico were the dishes inspired by. In reviewing the menu I was confused, there was a very small selection of traditional Mexican dishes. Where was the Chili Verde, Carnitas, Birria, Pozole, Lengua, Chili Colorado, Tamales, Tostadas, just to name a few. I ended up getting the Chicken enchiladas with green sauce, cheese, cream and fresh onions and beans on the side. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed. My order came out and the enchiladas were actually Cold!!! Sent it back, when the order came back out they were hot. They had very little green sauce, lightly sprinkled cheese on top, none inside and cream and onion also on top. The chicken was shredded with a red color. I have to say that, because there was no sauce in the meat it was dry and I felt, it did not have flavor. The beans were actually not bad, I ate those with the chips. There were several groups of people in the restaurant enjoying themselves and appeared to be enjoying the food as well. However I feel if you want traditional Mexican food, like you would get in Baja region this is definitely NOT the place to go.

We've passed by this restaurant a few times while house hunting. We love Cuban food and decided to…read morepop in for lunch. The decor inside is festive and fun. The owners, Cary and Carlos, are wonderful people. They've only been open a few months and had a steady stream of customers while we were dining there. They serve breakfast all day. Tempting as it was, we opted for lunch. I ordered the pork sandwich with mojo onion sauce and a side of plantains because, if you've read my reviews, you know I love fried plantains! The sandwich roll holds up for a sandwich with sauce. It was super delicious! The pork is tender and flavorful, seasoned perfectly. Hubby ordered the pork entree with yellow rice, black beans and plantains with a side of the mojo onion sauce. He commented that the pork was so good that he didn't want anything to take away from the flavor so he didn't use much of the sauce.Neither of us was able to eat even half of our meals because the portions are so large. We had ordered beef empanadas which came to the table after we had started our meals. They were fresh and super hot so we kept eating our main entrees until the empanadas cooled down. By that time, we were already full from our entrees so we each had a couple of bites just to try the empanadas while they were fresh. The dough was so good and perfectly flaky and the filling was delicious. It was served with a sauce on the side but it didn't need it. In our opinions, none of the sauces were necessary. And we love sauces! Seriously, their food is so good on its own. We had 3 boxes to go and I'm pretty certain we'll get 2 more meals each from our leftovers. You won't regret giving this place a try! Prices are reasonable for the large portions they offer. They open at 7:00 during the week. I'm looking forward to trying their breakfast and Cuban coffee! Parking is on the grass on the side of the building. They host a car show on the 3rd Saturday of every month year round. They said last month 45 cars showed up. Great time to stop in for breakfast and coffee while enjoying some classic cars.
