Do you know what driving 5 hours will do? It'll make you hungry! That's about the time I came across Labamba. Stopped here strictly on a hunch and once I saw that they offered a Speedy Plate I knew it couldn't be that bad. I went with the fajitas and they were served on a sizzling cast iron platter, tasty. Plenty of chips served with plenty of salsa. If I find myself in Dothan again I'd stop back. read more

Awesome place! Best guacamole I have had so far, and I LOOOOVE guacamole. Great tequila choices, especially the one recommended by the bar tender, it was so smooth and tasty, delicious! We have eaten at about all the Labamba restaurants in Dothan and Headland--but not Enterprise. This Labamba on the west side of Dothan on the Circle is second only to the one on the west side of the Circle. I have eaten in this restaurant dozens and dozens of times, going back to the 1990's when as a newspaper executive when we would have company meetings in the backroom. The service is better than average and the food quality is very good. When we are shopping in Dothan, we try to stop by and feel like the owner/manager is a friend. Highly recommended! read more

Best Mexican in town. Amazing tacos, salsa, cheese dip, and even chips that are just perfect.

We tried this restaurant in Dothan instead of going to the La Bamba we usually go to in Enterprise because it was Sunday, we wanted a drink with our food, and Enterprise/Coffee County is regressively dry! This restaurant was nowhere near as good as the one I reviewed previously, on Rucker Blvd. in Enterprise. The food, while prepared quickly, was quite bland. We had to add a bunch of salt to everything, and I topped my taco platter with some of the super-spicy salsa we got for the chips to give it an extra kick. For some reason the salsa here was a LOT hotter than it is at the other location, and so was the beef and cheese dip (and when I say "hot" I mean spicy, not temperature-hot). Bland food would have been borderline acceptable if the drink had been halfway decent. Instead of the usual delicious margarita we get at the other La Bamba, we got a frothy, foamy mess. I'm not exactly sure what it was, but the last time I checked margaritas didn't look like white soft serve ice cream. Next time I'll stick with the other La Bamba, and go somewhere else in Dothan to get a drink on Sunday. read more

Do not go here! The manager at the Labamba by the Elks Lodge was very rude. We had a gift certificate and they would not honor it. The manager threw the gift certificate back at me & told me it was no good. If you have to have Mexican food, then go to Rodeo, Old Mexico or LaParilla! They could have handled that much more professionally! read more

If your looking for REAL Mexican food this is the place great atmosphere great service and great drinks. You must venture away from your Taco, Burrito food and have the real traditional food. We would go back again and again....Wish they would move to South Carolina!!!!!! read more

Fajita quesadilla taste very good. Recommend the Mexican chicken fingers with rice. The staff is really nice and quick. Recommend
