These buildings don't need that perfect satin finish or the exact shade choices that an interior room does. I didn't spend more than 4 minutes in the store due to the efficiency of the employee. Miller has been my go-to, for paint, so I visited this location. I know things about furniture finishes and compatibility because I have made some of my own furniture. On interior and exterior home finishes, Miller knows more than me. The staff were very knowledgeable. What I learned is that stain-sealer over a different product does not work. They suggested a finish remover applied with water, including rain, letting it dry, then the new stain. They knew the strengths and weaknesses of different product choices. They even volunteered to look up and apply a discount. Miller has been in operation since 1890 and is employee owned!

I was told it was correct and came back to job to finish rolling the last bit. Today, after it dried overnight, the color is off, by one or two shades. I noticed they made it with the wrong base and called them to discuss it. The woman who answered was the one who mixed It, she knew she made it with the wrong base and that their machine was having issues but never told me. She thought it was close... Carpet is supposed to be installed today, and they won't do anything to help. Excite to send me on a 1-5 hour drive trip. I asked why they didn't just say they can't do the color right now and send me off. They've cost me so much money and messed my job up with a big delay. And they won't even send someone out to deliver me the tight paint. I see now they only have one star, I wish I had never walked in there.

Miguel quickly helped me narrow down nine samples down to five. They encouraged me to go home, and use the sample pieces in my kitchen first then to come back and grab the actual paint samples. I quickly came back to the store an hour later with three choices to order sample cans of. They again were very helpful, answered my questions and made it a positive experience for myself and my twelve year old son. Cameron made extra conversation with him and entertained my child's wishlist items to purchase. A great overall experience visiting this location with Cameron and Miguel.

This store is way better than Sherwood. The Sherwin stores themselves have the same products and prices but the people are what make it unique. Prices and quality are good for their products! I definitely recommend them!!! In this location I've been greeted kindly, helped when I have waaay too many questions and am unsure of myself and what I want, paint has been shaken for me without asking, and even taken out to my car. When I went in to buy my paint, they mixed everything up and tried to up-sell me on everything. The total cost came out to almost $600. I told them my budget was $300 and they proceeded to tell me that I was basically SOL because they already mixed the paint. So, we went through our shopping list and were able to get the bill down to about $400 by not buying top of the line everything (which they had recommended). Then, when I needed to get more primer, I went to Home Depot and found out the exact same primer was $15.98. I paid $25.40 (with my discount!!!) at Miller. Same exact product. That's just not right.

It took 20 minutes to get to the counter, leaving 10 minutes before closing for the kid behind the counter to mix my paint. He treated me terribly. When I tried to reason with him as a teaching moment it was worse. His busy day was not my responsibility. He had no problem mixing my one gallon before closing and I left with a minute or two to spare. Either hire better people or train the ones you have in appropriate customer service skills.

Delivery is normally not an issue, product selection is never an issue, they currently stock whatever we need we have a diverse client list!
