The woman who answered was the one who mixed It, she knew she made it with the wrong base and that their machine was having issues but never told me. She thought it was close... Carpet is supposed to be installed today, and they won't do anything to help. Excite to send me on a 1-5 hour drive trip. I asked why they didn't just say they can't do the color right now and send me off. They've cost me so much money and messed my job up with a big delay. And they won't even send someone out to deliver me the tight paint. I see now they only have one star, I wish I had never walked in there.

Naturally, we contacted the store expecting them to stand behind the products they profit from. Instead, they immediately hid behind the manufacturer and acted like none of it was their problem. So apparently Home Depot's business model is: Sell defective products, collect the money, dump the customer onto someone else when things fail. Amazing system. Truly. Anyone can make money if they never take responsibility for what they sell. And this wasn't even a one-time experience. Nearly everything we've purchased from this particular store has had issues, defects, or outright failures. Getting anyone there to help is like talking to a wall. No ownership, no urgency, no accountability. Just endless "you'll have to call someone else" nonsense from employees who clearly have been trained to avoid responsibility at all costs. At this point, it feels like Home Depot is less interested in customer service and more interested in being a middleman for defective junk while leaving customers stuck dealing with the consequences. Companies like this wonder why customers stop coming back and why people are abandoning big-box stores. With a few exceptions, the employees are all knowledgeable and welcoming. There are two downsides to shopping here. The prices are a bit higher than their competitors and they have somewhat limited hours of operation, closing early and only open 12-5 on Sunday. But overall it's a nice local store.

There are even used tools in decent condition, and occasionally artwork, appliances, lawn hardware and more. I wouldn't compare it to Goodwill though : they are fairly picky about what they accept as far as donations, and there are no clothes. As someone who's both donated and bought here, I'm a fan. Prices are more than reasonable and you're saving this stuff from going in the dump.
