Today my husband wanted to seal our driveway. I called our normal store which is in Lake Worth and the item is normally $272.95 for the 5 gallons, but it was on sale for $191.05 and my normal store quoted me a price of $150. I wanted to double check with my husband before paying for it because due to Covid you have to pay then they bring it out to you. I called back the other location and a different guy answers and told him I wanted to go ahead and pay and he would not honor the price of $150. After going back and forth with him and then put on hold for over 5 minutes. I got aggravated and called this store. I called and spoke with Sean. I told him how frustrated I was and the dealings I had with other store and that I had been hung up on and they wouldn't honor the previous price Sean said that he would match the original price as well as give it to me for $20 cheaper for my aggravation. Sean was super helpful and this will be my new Sherwin Williams paint store for all my paint supply needs moving forward.

I purchased a gallon of oil based paint a couple of days ago and was happy with the way that it was…read morematched to the sample that I brought in. An older guy with glasses mixed the paint for me. I returned a couple of days later an explained to him that the sample that I gave him was the wrong one and ask if he could match the paint to a different sample and offered to pay for his time to remix it. He did not seem too happy to remix it. I patiently waited and about a half hour he came out placed the counter and threw a paint stick in my direction. I asked how much do I owe you and he said " nothing". The he proceeded to tell me that my can of paint "ruined his shop." I asked him "hows that "and apparently he did not put the lid on correctly and when placed in the mixing machine it went all over the place. I felt bad that this happened but he made seem as somehow it was my fault. I said I was sorry again and left the store. I always try to use small businesses when I can ( I do not like the big box stores) even though the prices are usually higher. Walked in and someone greeted us and asked how they could help. We gave him the run down of our dilemma and he told us exactly what needed to be done in order to get our project started. He gave us several suggestions for other paint we should use and explained why they were good choices. We picked our paint, additives for slip resistance and color. Our paint order went in and in about 20 minutes we walked out with the biggest grins on our faces. After kinda estimating on the size of the space that needed to be painted, the associate adviced that the paint was for sale that week and would end the following day. He then mentioned that if we were to need more, it would go back on sale the following week. It turns out we did need more paint and we're so relieved to know we could come back and purchase at the same great price we got it that day. We are so greatful for his assistance, recommendations and for sincerely caring about our wants and needs. I'm not sure I'll ever go to another place to purchase paint again. Their knowledge, attention and awesomeness was very well received and greatly appreciated. Highly recommend them!!!!

I gave him my phone number and he tells me the price is $54.59 a gallon. I told him I wanted the 5 gallons and he told me that price would be $272.95! I told him I was just quoted $150 less than 10 minutes ago. He asked if I got a name I said no but it was less than 15 minutes ago. The guy told me sorry the price is $272.95. I went back and forth with him for a few minutes about honoring the price I was just quoted. He would not honor it. I asked to speak with someone else. I was on hold for over 5 minutes so I hung up and called the next closest store. I explained what had happened and the guy at the other store said I will match the price and give you $20 off for your aggravation. Great so now I paid him right then on a credit card and told him my husband would call once outside (Due to Covid you have to place order and they bring it out to you) I then called back this store and asked for a manager. Eddie gets on the phone and you can immediately tell he has an attitude. He tells me that no one would have quoted $150 (I am not a liar!) and that was his cost. He said he would not even honor the online price of $191.05. I said that they just lost a loyal customer as I live in the development right behind them - again, Eddie didn't care. You can see my last review was 5 years ago and its the ONLY good review for this store. If Eddie is the same store manager from about 4 years ago I had some questions regarding HOA paint colors and he was not very eager to help. The approach is complete chaos with no one organizing the flatbeds, industrial carts and the regular carts. It's almost impossible to enter without moving around 10 of them! A true hazard! 2. Once you actually make inside the store it's impossible to find someone to help you. 3. The outdoor garden center has so many isles that have huge pallets stacked up so high that you can't get to the products . Some you can't even take a cart down.. 4. It all self service check out. So I went with intension to purchase: Weed killer, raid, mold and mildew spray for concrete, splash guards for sprinklers, gutter downspouts extensions, gutter downspouts flexible extensions . Couldn't get to them and no one knew where they were.. what I did buy I could have bought at Walmart or Target. Then leaving the back exit was blocked again with the giant carts! I moved from Lake County and loved our Home Depot. It was amazing! I would be able to find everything I needed and actually enjoyed walking around the store! My great friend was in town with me, helping me with various construction/home improvement products in our new home. We made multiple visits to your store the weekend of 20 August 2022. During our multiple visits, we were greeted by an employee named, "Jan"; - I'm not sure how else to describe her other than a White Female; Middle-Aged. In my entire life, of visiting Home Depot stores throughout the United States - I have never come across such a kind, pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable employee. "Jan" told Mark and I that she had been working with that store since it opened many years ago. "Jan" is simply awesome; so awesome that I had to seek out her Manager - "David". "Jan" went the extra mile to help Mark and I retrieve the correct LED Light Bulbs for my new home in Binks Pointe, Wellington. Thank you! Later that weekend, we return, once again and meet the Store Manager - "David" who is truly a terrific and extremely helpful person. Again - "David" went the extra mile to help us seek out the particular "Lithium Batteries" that we were looking for. These were very difficult to find. Our Cashier, "Seren" was extremely cheerful, kind, pleasant and helpful. She assisted me in opening a Home Depot Credit card which was something that I always wanted to have, but didn't not know how to get. There is a Lowes located down the street from this Home Depot location; for various reasons - particularly unhelpful and obnoxious staff - they will never get any of my business.
