Walked in and someone greeted us and asked how they could help. We gave him the run down of our dilemma and he told us exactly what needed to be done in order to get our project started. He gave us several suggestions for other paint we should use and explained why they were good choices. We picked our paint, additives for slip resistance and color. Our paint order went in and in about 20 minutes we walked out with the biggest grins on our faces. After kinda estimating on the size of the space that needed to be painted, the associate adviced that the paint was for sale that week and would end the following day. He then mentioned that if we were to need more, it would go back on sale the following week. It turns out we did need more paint and we're so relieved to know we could come back and purchase at the same great price we got it that day. We are so greatful for his assistance, recommendations and for sincerely caring about our wants and needs. I'm not sure I'll ever go to another place to purchase paint again. Their knowledge, attention and awesomeness was very well received and greatly appreciated. Highly recommend them!!!!

At the register, one of my items didn't have a scan code on it and the cashier said that I had to go back and find the correct code for it. It seems to me that one of the employees should assist with that. I complained to the manager and she 100% agreed with me. Update: I visited this HD location last week and it was greatly improved. One employee was very helpful and got a larger dolly cart for me to carry bags of heavy garden soil. Also, the cashier was a bit more engaged than I've experienced in the past. Prices have increased as of late March 2026 but I don't suppose that HD's fault.

There is also a set of booklets to give you color combination ideas to work with. Unlike the Big Depot... which just has color-chips out on display which are the 'trendy' or 'popular'... our good friend Moore has a HUGH collection of colors, all properly organized by hue and intensity. Much easier to find a complement, or analog. This is a NO-PRESSURE environment, and they will mix everything to order right on the spot. Need delivery? They can handle that too? Need advise on how long to wait after wet stucco work? They have the answer and the right products to use, so your paint does not peel off after a weekend of hard work.
