Overall, the price was what I was willing to spend for the many bags that I bought. Parking was easy, and I had immediate access to the outdoor garden center where the stones I was searching for were located. I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Lowe's in Royal Palm Beach, FL. Over the past two years, I've purchased multiple appliances from Lowe's without issue, but my latest refrigerator purchase has been a nightmare. The store repeatedly delivered replacement refrigerators that arrived damaged. Weeks went by with missed or mishandled deliveries, and no effective resolution was provided until the store manager finally stepped in. On top of that, attempts to get a copy of my original receipt were met with unprofessional and rude behavior from staff, including arguing, incorrect account handling, and being hung up on. The executive department stepped in to resolve the issue, but unfortunately nothing was fixed. This has caused significant frustration, wasted time, and disappointment, especially as a long-time loyal customer. I cannot recommend this store and will likely not shop at Lowe's again. read more

We always shop at Lowe's because they honor Veterans by dedicating parking spaces and offering a small discount. Today's excursion contained a mishap, that is the reason for the one star. While tracking down product on the Lowe's app, we were directed down aisle 20 to bay 21. En route, my wife unknowingly stepped in a large pile of spilled concrete spread on the grey floor. Thirty feet away an employee was stacking concrete bags onto a pallet. My wife showed the employee where the spill was and the resulting debris on her foot and designer shoes. The employee stated, "Someone will get to it." We proceeded to the Service desk and asked someone to page a Manager so we could report the spill incident. After about five minutes an Assistant Store Manager, ASM Laura, arrived and we informed her of the spill and showed her my wife's foot and shoe. She took down our contact information and asked me to email the picture. She asked for proof of the cost of the designer shoes to be sent to her email before any remedy could be offered. I purchased double impact doors from Lowe's. Roy the wheeler dealer salesman was just trying to get a sale and said whatever he needed to say. He forgot to say that subcontractor for Lowe's would be sending installers that speak NO English! I speak NO Spanish. They pretended they understood what I was telling them. They were clueless and had no idea what they were doing. The one door was not bored for a door handle, which was part of my order. Chunks of exterior stucco was knocked off during the installation process. The threshold was about 2 inches too short, which left me with a big interior gap! Best part... Lowes paid the sub contractor, Farrow Construction, without confirming with me, their customer, if my job was complete and correct. It took 9 months for the sub to come back, of course, because they had been paid! Lowes staff at the store is the worst!! No one wants to take responsibility!! $12k later and 10months later the for them to figure out the threshold. They used my extra travertine. Thankful I had some! This was the first time coming to this particular Lowe's. It was a pretty good one -- It's huge. It's clean. It's got lots of inventory. Everything is clearly marked. There are signs on every end cap with row numbers. That being said, I walked off my entire dinner here. There are no directories and things do get moved around. So finding certain items is not always the easiest. It took a bit to find someone to ask for the location of some of the items we needed. Got a couple things, no problem. But one item we got three different answers -- and of course, the rows were not near each other. Finally after not finding what we needed -- even with directions -- I went back and told the same person I couldn't find it. He walked over to the aisle and then came back. He gave me better directions and voila. Prices on what we bought were decent. And it's nice that they give an automatic veterans discount (we signed up online previously for this). The employees there are space cadets. I was inquiring about something I saw online for the price I was looking at and I wanted to talk to somebody about it I had a bad experience talking to these idiot employees who didn't understand what I was saying didn't speak English no comprehension. I happen to have a very clear articulate voice. For which they couldn't grasp because I think they don't have a brain as functioning and they have no common sense. Their products are aftermarket crapola. Their aisles are full of merchandise and inventory making it difficult to walk down the aisles. Half of them don't even know what you're talking about when you're on phone about a particular item the other day after they didn't even know what the item is about the other half doesn't even know if the managers in the store and the other half doesn't know how to speak or understand English So anyway the manager asked me what this problem is I don't know how she got to be a manager and her customer service stinks totally disgusting. She'll ask me how she can help me but then when I approach to tell her she don't give me a chance to tell her she keeps cutting me off over and over and over again. After the third and fourth time I said ma'am will you please let me speak you keep cutting me off that is so rude and obnoxious. Her mouth was still going over and over and over again. So I decided to put it on mute put the phone down walk away and come back 10 minutes later I come back she's still yadkin while she's on mute. In the meantime I'm going through a drive-through pantry and I'm talking to people there they're getting my information and she still on the phone yacking away and I don't really care what she's saying cuz I'm not paying attention. Be there as it may I tried several times to tell her that I'm calling corporate escalations and following a complaint it didn't seem to matter to her cuz her response was go ahead do you want the phone number. I guess I could see there's a pattern here she must get this a lot and then after looking at the reviews I can see where the breakdown is. Then she has the balls and the audacity to tell PBSO that I made verba l threats against her and her company which was a total bold face lie I never said what she said I said. This is defamation of character this is liable I'm looking at attorneys because I want to sue Lowe's hardware for hiring inadequate dysfunctional inappropriate female who shouldn't be in the position she's in. It's been over a year and my door installed by Lowe's contractor Farrow construction is still failing due to improper installation and bad customer service. My husband needed a plain piece of stainless steel in a sheet format. This Lowes is about 3 miles from my house so with traffic it's not close. He came here earlier today ( I don't know what department he went to) and they told him they did not have stainless steel they had other types of metal but he needed specifically stainless steel. He gets home and I started googling and they have a stainless steel backsplash in the appliance area. My husband was not thinking along those lines and it says they have two in stock. Online even gives you the aisle number and the Bay number. I tried to use there online check out to do curbside pick up and it told me it was available for pick up between 5 to 7 days. If it's in the store now why would I wait 5 to 7 days to pick it up? I called the front desk and the woman told me there was three in stock and I had to come in myself. If this review was based off of their online or the person who answered the phone not being able to help me on how to do a curbside pick up this would be a one star review. I go into the store aisle 34 it's not there. It took me a while to track someone down and I was lucky to track down Debra in appliances. Debra knew exactly what I was talking about and where it should be however the item was not where it should be. She was able to find somebody else to double check the last time it was received and took the time to walk up and down multiple isles until she found me the item I needed. So if this review was for Debra she would get 5 stars. Had way too many issues with my online order. I got a chair and 2 chair cushions. The chair came with no issues but the cushions were scheduled to be re-delivered over 3 times which is why I canceled the order and went to pick them up myself from the West Palm location. They never gave any explanation why the cushions didn't come with the chair or why they kept rescheduling the dates to be delivered. If you don't have them in stock to ship then tell me so I can go to a different location!! Even after canceling, I didn't receive a refund for the 2 cushions and it kept saying they would still be delivered. I've now had to call this location SEVERAL times. Every time I called it would ring and ring. They'd redirect me to lines where no one would answer and no voicemail could even be left. I went to this location to get a big bulk item. Between the cart corral and the back of the store, I couldn't find a large cart bed to put the item on but that wasn't the main issue. I finally found a regular shopping cart about an aisle over and noticed that no one was using it but it had 3 small bagged items and a sink hose in it. I was about to use it when an a sales associate (David) came over from another aisle. I didn't notice at first that he worked there so I asked 'oh, is this your cart'. He said it wasn't but the cart had 'returns' in it. I asked if he didn't mind me using it because I have a heavy item to get. He responded saying 'I'm sure there's another cart somewhere around between here and the front of the store'. He didn't offer to help me look for a cart or use the one that was there with 4 items in it. This experience is the top 3 worst experiences I've ever experienced in my life. So I purchased cabinets from lowes online and they said it would get delivered two weeks from that date (be delivered on 12/11). On 12/10 i reached out to lowes because I received know communication from them about the materials. Customer service had no idea where my materials were and that I needed to call back tomorrow to speak to someone else that could assist me. I called the next day and the employee finally figured out that they were using a third party (SEKO Logistics) and that I would have to call them and figure out when the delivery date was. So days are going by and Im calling SEKO/ Lowes and either party can give my any info about a delivery date. 12/21 SEKO (calling them 5-12 times a day) finally answers and is telling me that its getting delivered that day and that the drivers will call me an hour out. No Call and the materials sat in my clients delivery way in the rain and night and now I'm dealing with the consequences... If I could rate it 0 stars I would. My parents bought a brand new washer dryer set for over $2000 that were used for less than 3 weeks from this store. Specifically the GE UltraFresh Vent System 4.8-cu ft Stackable Smart Front-Load Washer and dryer. In less than 3 weeks of use the computer system of the washer is fried and faulty. We even had the GE "repair" guy come out because we were required too and he was rude and had no idea what he was doing. He said the required parts ie the entire computer system has to be replaced on a brand new machine that will take weeks to come in. I have spoken to all of the store managers and they can not do anything to repair the situation because I am a few days outside of the 30 day return period. They haven't even been out of the box for a month because we are renovating our house. Their policy is absurd and at this point I don't want a random part to fix it because the fact that it went after having used it for less than a month is a bad sign. ALSO the return policy is absurd especially since I used my LOWES credit card to purchase it! To no fault of her own she tried- the appliance manager said she couldn't do anything because of store policy. Don't even get me started. It is the worst store I have ever dealt with- they will not do anything to help us and my parents spent all of this money and they refused to remedy the situation and take these machines back. How is it you can buy and test a mattress for 3 months and return if not satisfied but yet you can't return a faulty machine is beyond me. Stay clear from the brand GE and the Lowes store company overall as a whole. After this experience we will never do business with them again. I gotta say,my experience has been bad at Lowe's,I bought 5 items,over $1500 in my order,everything I ordered was online because in store the items were out of stock or damaged,the day after I ordered my items 4 out of 5 items were ready for pick up next day,the only thing that was taking a little longer was the glass sliding shower door,but I decided to wait for all the items to be ready for pick up and then in only one trip I was going to bring them home,well,4 out of the 5 items were damaged or were the wrong thing,for example the shower base I ordered had a right side drain,the one they gave me was left side,the bathroom vanity was all damaged and looked like the exact one from the store I saw the day I went in person and it was damaged,the bathroom mirror(medicine cabinet) was all glass,and the glass was all pieces,the bathroom exhaust fan I paid for a nice one low noise,kinda expensive but I was ok with it because I want it LOW NOISE and I understand that those are more pricey,well that fan was used,the only positive thing that happens to me was that the personal in costumer service was nice and understanding,they knew that that was unacceptable after me being at the store just minutes ago after returning with all those mistakes made by I don't know who,because all that happened was avoidable,the mirror was clearly broken the vanity to,the shower base with the wrong side drain,god,how incompetent you have to be,tomorrow I'll be returning the shower base because like most people I have a schedule in my day and my time has to be managed to maximize free time,I hope people pay more attention in Lowe's because it looks like I'm not the only one upset about the fact that this place is a disaster run by lazy people. read more

I generally like to support local small businesses so when our fridge showed signs of dying our first stop was Rosners. That was such a bad experience that we decided to see what Lowe's had to offer, especially since they had Black Friday deals going on. I was greatly surprised at how good the selection and service was. The staff was very helpful and patient, even though the area was busy. They had enough people to take care of everyone. I was extremely impressed when our sales associate Rich had trouble logging into the system. Other team members where very helpful and friendly to each other. I always love seeing that. In the end we got a good deal on a good fridge and will have delivery on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Please note that this review is only based on this part of the store. We had a hiccup with part of our order that arrived damaged and Jeff took care of the matter with such positive energy & in a timely manner. Yesterday, Tony, Angela & Tiffany were so wonderful in helping us choose and order a pantry door. We had a little incident where our daughter got sick. They all helped to clean up the mess & make her feel better. Most places would make you feel like a nuisance if this happened. I will never go there again. We ordered a refrigerator and stove on a Monday. We verified it was in stock and we're told it would be delivered on Saturday. We waited for a call nothing, so we called Lowe's first the delivery, then appliances then customer service. No one picked up the phone. So in frustration we went to the store and a different person than the one who took our order said they items were back ordered. Spoke with a manager who checked again that the items were in the warehouse and would get back to us on Monday as to why they weren't delivered. I've been trying to get a new garage door from Lowe's since April 2020. I had a lot of gift cards to put towards the purchase. But when I went to buy one and have it installed last year, they were having a dispute with the installer. So no installation service. I called weekly and FINALLY in November 2020 they were offering installation services again. But Oh Boy! None of the sales folks knew how to work the computer program to order it. I finally connected with someone on Dec 4 who was actually able to place the order. Oh! Joy! I'm getting a new garage door! NOT! Now it is April 22 and I STILL DO NOT HAVE A GARAGE DOOR! This is nearly five months after my very expensive $2,869 purchase. I call them all of the time. It supposedly (maybe? finally?) shipped four weeks ago. But nobody seems to know where it is. I've been really nice about all of this because I know COVID disrupted the manufacturing process. But now I'm just frustrated and angry. In four weeks, I could have have driven around the country several times and back again. PLEASE! SOMEBODY AT LOWE'S TAKE NOTICE OF THIS! There is a boss, an executive, a "higher up" somewhere who can get my garage door delivered and installed. Last week we had 70 mph winds and I was terrified a piece of the garage door would whip off and crash through my window. Not to mention that hurricane season is coming up. HELP!!!! The flooring department is very deceiving. The sign said .99 cent for installation, but nowhere on the sign or the sales person, said a minimum of 500 sq feet. So if you only have 200sq feet it would cost you $450 not the $200 you would think. Also that being said they charge you $35.00 to come out and measure which is no refundable. But they would credit you the money if you have them install the flooring. We would have never have them come to measure if we knew there was a minimum. read more

This Lowes has been declining in recent years but I think they finally hit bottom. It's always been a struggle to get anyone to help you here but today I tried without any luck to get some help in the lumber department. One female worker had seen me standing there for several minutes but never bothered to ask if I needed help. I asked her if there was someone that could help me and instead of taking it on herself she told me that she'd try to find someone. She went around the corner and supposedly asked someone to help me but nobody ever showed. A few minutes later a couple of guys came around the corner, walked right past me and disappeared. Then another, then another. One guy peeked around the corner then disappeared. Went to the front of the store and asked a cashier if I could speak with the store manager. She walked away then came back, paged the manager then told me that it would be a "while" because she was busy. Apparently they're all totally unfamiliar with the concept of customer service. Bought a Samsung refrigerator. Delivery was scheduled today. The men came and clearly were not in the mood to work. As soon as I opened the door they told me the refrigerator would not fit through the door . Mind you we purchased the house in 2011 and had a larger refrigerator delivered by another company without any problems. They then left the fridge in my driveway other than placing it in my garage in the box which is on the complete opposite sited of my house than the kitchen. They didn't even want to explore any other solutions. I called my local Lowes ( I purchased it in this very store) and the women couldn't even find my order . After 20 minutes of her not finding my order I told her I would drive to the store. The manager at the store told me the fridge was now my responsibility from the elements since it was delivered and would get back in touch with me , so I left. Meanwhile my husband and I moved the fridge into our house . Only issue is how heavy it was and we didn't have any straps. I get a call twice from delivery men saying they were going to pick it up. Twice I had to tell them that to cancel it. Never even received a call from the manager . Now I am paying someone to connect everything and finish putting it together. This is Lowes free delivery. The service here is inexcusable. Had a large online delivery order including 3 vanities ordered 3/3/21. I kept being told the day of delivery for the past 2 months that it wasn't coming. Then would reschedule. My husband had to go into the store, go into the warehouse himself and found 3 of our items sitting there for god only knows how long. Then he had to rent a truck and find men to help him lift once he delivered it himself to our house (took 3 trips). That is only half of the story too! What kind of service is that?!?! I understand about COVID and waiting times, but when there is no one in curbside pickup and they don't answer their phone, and to top it off I go inside and 4 people are standing around doing nothing, it is VERY hard to be understanding. I will not go there again. read more

Absolutely terrible! Where do I begin. We placed an order online and they took forever to get my order from the back. When they finally came out from the back they said they didn't have my entire order. It made no sense. We had ordered 5 closet kits online and when we got there they said they only had 4 and the one that's up as a mock that they believe the system may have counted as one in stock. After waiting for hours to have them figure it all out they ended up having the other one we needed. It was pure confusion, chaos and not organized. read more
