We came for a few things and got 2 of the three items. It's also convenient to the neighborhood and we didn't have to walk three miles inside the store to go from one department to another. We were greeted on entering and asked if we needed help. They directed us to the aisle we needed. Later on we got very nice and friendly service from Carol (Carolann?) who gave us even more assistance. She was able to scan our items, too, and confirm the prices so we could make an informed decision. It's nice to know there's a store nearby and with friendly helpful folks!-- just like as advertised. read more

Decided to shop Ace near the house. A friendly greeting and direction to the aisle we needed to find our items. Lots of items available without walking two miles and needing a forklift to get your items was a pleasant change. Carol Ann was very helpful in finding other materials we needed. No long lines to deal with at checkout was another bonus. Our overall experience was a pleasant one with a friendly crew in the store. Give yourself a break from the hardware Giants and come back to your local hardware store. read more

I've been coming to this location every other week since the July Hallmark ornament release. This section of their store has not been attended to in months. In October I returned to the location excited to purchase ornaments for Hallmarks October release. Upon arriving, the ornaments were not even out. An employee advised ornaments were put away in the back and weren't coming back out until the week of Thanksgiving. I returned the week of Thanksgiving and items still weren't set up. When questioning another employee, she advised "they don't care about these things, they don't sell." I thought to myself, of course they aren't selling if they're not put out. She asked I come back in a week to try again. Upon another return, the displays were not out, however about 15 green and brown storage boxes covered the floor. I began looking through the large storage bins and found some to purchase. I came back again today, December 15, ten days before Christmas and the area is still a mess, between the storage boxes, bins and propane grills blocking the Hallmark card and ornament areas it was impossible to find anything. After driving 30 minutes to and from the store many times since July, I'm finally giving up. It's not worth the fuel or headache. read more

WOW! From the second I walked in the door, the young lady at the counter greeted me and asked if I needed assistance (I did)? She told me where the plumbing section was and called the guy to come and help me. He asked me a few questions and knew I had no clue, but he showed me exactly what I needed. I got home and made the fix. I have 2 large national brand stores I will be driving past to go here next time! read more

I needed a new grill and Ace had exactly what I needed. They made special arrangements to deliver the assembled grill the day before the Super Bowl. I have shopped at this location since the store opened in River Bridge shopping center. This store is convenient and the employees are helpful nice and knowledgeable. Dave and his staff solved a major problem for me and i am quite grateful. I managed to have a grease fire on my Weber grill and did severe damage to it. He and his people tried very hard to repair the damage i caused , but under the time frame i had to work with, the repair was not guaranteed to be safe. he was upfront about the whole thing. I had to replace the grill and he managed to deliver a new grill, installed and ready to go in two days. I appreciated his effort, attentiveness, and willingness to help. I purchased a Green Egg grill for a Christmas present from the Greenacres Ace hardware store. The store manager Dave spent considerable time with me helping to choose the perfect grill for my son. They stored the grill for no charge for several months and then delivered it as promised just before Christmas. Don, the delivery/set up person also spent time with my son advising on use of the grill and maintenance. Overall, I would give them six stars if possible. read more

I went to Ace Hardware in Greenacres for the first time last week. I was amazed at how spacious and clean the store is! The displays are arranged in such an enticing manner that I wanted to look at every item, but I had too many errands to run that day. (I will be back there very soon.) While there, I did get my knives and scissors sharpened and a couple of keys made. Bob was my store rep. He was friendly and professional, as were the ladies at the check out cash register. Today I had to phone the store to inquire about window screens for a friend. Dave, the store manager, answered the phone, and gave me all the info I needed. I live in Palm Springs near Purdy Road. I found it so easy to drive west on Purdy to Jog Road and arrive at the warm and friendly Greenacres Ace Hardware in a "snap"! read more

The location does not honor Ace coupons sent directly to peoples' homes bearing the name and address of the Greenacres location. I suspect they could lose their franchise is corporate were aware of this practice. Very dishonest. It's happened to me twice, and I've now witnessed it happening to other customers. read more

This Ace HW really helped my husband & I greatly! We had been TOTALLY screwed by the 2 big name joints. Both of whom already had our money for the same Craftsman toolbox we ended up getting from Greenacres Ace Hardware. Both previous stores who also claimed they've have it shipped to us within a few days! One store said they had 3 in stock, after ordering online, them taking our money, us WAITING for a "ready for pick up" text & email. Anyway.....on AND on AND on!! (3 in stock, in 1 store. I drove there. Groups of 2 or 3 employees ignoring everyone except each other. We found 2 of the units on the floor...sort-of put together. Scratched up. The 3rd couldn't be found, (oh yeah, after splitting 2 employees up from themselves and their phones) 1 young man went looking for the 3rd. I round the corner. The 3rd one right there on the floor as yucky as the first 2! want, etc.want that were! were all on the floor. *** Back to Ace!!!! *** Chris, Dave, & a lady who answered the phone were very professional, product is great, delivery was great. What a great store! It is a fairly new location and the service is getting better and better. We have been shopping there since the store opened buying household items grills and today I had a propane tank that was not working and the manager Dave took care of everything. This is a large store in square footage but with the service of an old fashioned hardware store from my hometown. Some how Amazon has us all thinking it is better to buy online and wait for the item chosen. In my opinion shopping and taking the purchase home the same day is so much better along with the prices of most items are the same or even better then online.! read more
