We visited last weekend. They have beautiful plants and TONS of rock and mulch options. Pricing is in line with the big box stores but they had more varieties that are not readily available at those big name locations. Everything was well organized and clean and very well maintained. read more

SOD CHEAPER AT A A A Garden Center and much better quality. I wouldve saved 100$ if I wouldn't bought it at AAA garden center ‍. Also, delivery is 100$ for them to LITERALLY throw the palette in your driveway. He literally lifted the truck bed and threw the pallate in the driveway. The palete of course was crushed... This is a great place to go for any of your landscape needs. There were two ladies outside to ask questions. However only one of them spoke English but she was extremely knowledgeable on the sizes of each plants when they would be full grown, how long they would live, and what kind of sun they needed as well as the care each plant needed. Their plant prices were very reasonable but They had a nice plans are that was tall but it was only plastic and I think they wanted $60 for it. Located in beautiful South Florida, within minutes drive of 100's of other Nursery and Garden centers, I seemed to always get sucked into their yard, with the promise of them having exactly what I need. Unfortunately, I usually find their prices to be 2x-3x higher than a shop just two or three blocks away. The Bushel Stop has a GREAT selection of small stones, by the bag, and some in bulk (truck-load) and they have a beautiful red-colored hauling truck that will deliver your goods (for a cost). Mounds and Mounds of mulch and sand are available too, sod and pavers and the regular brick-a-brack that you can put on your lawn. I will say that they have saved me 2 or 3 times, on a weekend, usually a Sunday, when everyone else is observing the day off, The Bushel Stop HAS been open to supply my not-so-well planned needs and allowed me to complete my yard projects before having to head back to my desk job. I will note, that this place seems to be the 'posh' place to come get your bulk yard goods, and would recommend that the savvy shopper, do just that and shop around a bit. read more

I made a purchase consisting of a plant and 2 large pots. I went to return one of the pots within 2 weeks. Prior to going, I ensured to read the receipt and check the website. The receipt stated "no return on plants and 20% restocking on all other items." I walked in on 9/29/2021 and a nice woman (who stated that she normally works at the Delray location) greeted me and I informed her why I was there. The manager Sam looks up at me once, gives a condescending giggle and and said "we don't take those back" and walks out. I proceed to wait on him to return and when he finally walks back in I ask why? He said "you just can't." I explain that there is no signage that states otherwise and my receipt implies as if anything other than plants can be returned. Sam then smirks and says "you should've asked." He then proceeded to continue stating the same thing with a bit of an attitude "you can ask ya know." I decided that this wasn't going anywhere at this point because he wouldn't listen to my viewpoint. If I would've walked in and saw a sign of some sort, or wording on a receipt or even been informed at check out (Sam sold me the items originally) then I wouldn't have anything to say about the situation. This is terrible business practices and the manner in which Sam treated me and talked to me was not good. Not respectful at all and wasn't willing to hear me out at all - he had his mind made up. I refuse to shop here anymore. It's definitely not about the money, but how the situation was handled. read more

I purchased an avocado tree there that died. I called them and asked them about their replacement policy and they said they don't have one. I told them the tree didn't look good when I bought it and they said to me why did you buy it. I said the reason I bought it was I figured it was losing its leaves for a good reason perhaps the. I told them the question you should be answering is why did you sell ? I will never shop at this loser place again . Shame on them. read more

Staff is very helpful at the Pompano Beach location, but the only ones wearing a mask were the heavy equipment drivers! The sign says customers must wear a mask, but the thin plexiglass doesn't effective shield the cashiers from the customer! Policy should be set for staff to don masks prior to interacting with the customer. read more

Should have known better and not bought a pallet of sod when all the sod they had was half price because it was all burnt grass. I bought the one that was good according to them at regular price. The sod just gets worse and worse and now looks like the rest they had that day at sale prices. I understand they give no guarantee on sod and who knows it might get better but my complain is their attitude there. The lady at the counter where you pay has a terrible attitude in person and on phone. I asked for her manager and hes worse than her. Terrible customer service and treat you like they giving their stuff away for free. I will never buy again nor my landscaper which was appaled by the ladys attitude because he went with me to buy the sod. You guys need to fix your attitude problems not good when you work with the public all day. read more

HORRIBLE Customer Service My husband and I have purchased from this nursery (Lake Worth location) before, but it will now never happen again. We were there last Saturday to do some investigative shopping trying to determine what plants, how big they would get and how far apart did we need to plant to fill our flower bed. Our plan was to then go home mark off and count the area and go back to purchase the next weekend. Maria helped us talk about 4 or 5 plants. She asked us how many plants we wanted. We told her our plan that day was to determine exactly that, which apparently in her eyes meant we weren't buying that day. As we thought she was following us to the next plant we turned around to see her helping another customer. When I politely said we had just one more question she said very rudely from a row and a half away, "You no buy. I no walk" and with that she was done with us. We thought it was important that the nursery knew about the treatment we received. We walked into the trailer and was barely helped by the man behind the desk. Definitely not Wowed with Recovery - which would have helped make up for Maria's rude service. Long story short we went to another nursery to do our investigative shopping to prepare for next week's plant buying and planting. We ended up buying over $500 worth of plants that very same day from the second and MUCH nicer nursery SAN MARCO GARDEN CENTERS 561-336-3147 in Boynton on 441, who will now have ALL of our future business. read more

I ordered sod from them, three pallets. I also got some from AAA. All the sod from Bushel Stop became infected and as much stuff as we threw on it could never clear it up. It's now all dead. The other was just fine, no problem. I called twice and was told a manager would call me back and no one ever called. Very disappointed with them. read more

The help here is usually impatient and rude. The prices are high, and the quality is so, so. Another reviewer stated that there are many other places in the area and I kind of agree, although not as large as Bushel Stop. My friend ordered 3 yards of dirt from there and it was terrible. Love this place. The staff is always helpful. We've had 3 deliveries of rocks and pavers and every one has been on time as expected. They have a great variety of plants and have helped us with which ones will do best in full sun, to ward off mosquitos and to attract butterflies. Our backyard has never looked better. :) read more

Bought 2 identical Eugenia trees from them . One started turning brown so I brought it back hoping to get a replacement. Was accused if not watering it, and was told they would take it back and give me $10 off another one. Terrible! Avoid this place. Poor customer service! Try Lions nursery. Rating=zero!!! I am so disappointed, and will never buy anything from them again. I bought a herb pot and the color does not work in the space. They refused to refund me. They recognized me because I bought it late Saturday afternoon right before closing. I bought several things from them, a palm etc, but never again. Their prices are higher than most of the other nurseries around, which I wouldn't mind paying if they had better customer service.
