At no point should bolts randomly fling off your bike while you going down the Brooklyn bridge going 24mph. I'm a high school student and I had to pay for my bike with my own money. I've been working since 10th grade to help my mom because she is a single parent so for me the loss of about 5k including repairs leave me without transportation as I can not afford to repair it at this point. I've spent 3.7k on a bike, this isn't including the repairs i had to pay over the span of a year which amount to at least 1.4k+ after random bolts detaching and motor failing, and as soon as the warranty expired my bike had a random electrical issue where the bike wouldn't accelerate. From the owner Pete: OK, where are you going? (Direct email sent from owner) 1- Last Mile NYC replaces all of the electronics on your bike. The cost of the parts and labor is $2910.54 2- Send your bike back to Super73. They will do their own diagnosis, and determine the issues and fix the problems. Unfortunately your bike is not under warranty, the cost of packing up and freighting your bike to and from Super73 will be around $1200. Plus their diagnostic fee, parts and labor. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

This is an update to my May 2, 2024 Review:…read more At length, about six months after HMS sold my Kymco scooter, I finally heard back from the business: a settlement check - with a letter of apology for the failure to notify me of the sale, and my share of the proceeds. My share was about 25% of the proceeds from the sale. I regarded the settlement as perfectly unfair, and returned the check to HMS - with a letter that detailed my complaint. Again, months passed - awaiting any response. At length, HMS readily agreed to a revised settlement. Yet again, months elapsed until I received a new settlement check - with another letter of profuse apology for the delay. None of this would have occurred without my persistent effort to contact HMS - for information updates regarding the sale of the scooter. My year of contact with HMS leaves the impression of business practice that is almost unimaginably scattered and disorganized. I do not know why HMS appears to be so overwhelmed with routine business tasks. Still, I do not believe that HMS is engaged in any kind of deceptive business practice. Let's hope matters will improve at HMS. Meanwhile, customers would do well to expect the unexpected.

WOW!! What an amazing team of experts who are truly knowledgeable and experienced in PEV if you're…read morein of need a serious repair or upgrade this is definitely the place to go to so worth it! They're totally confident and truly care about their customers in such a way that other repair shops lack such a nice old school vibe. I'm going to go all in on this review so whomever is discouraged or reluctant on going read onward. I had a minor issue (signal light) that turned into a major problem due to going to a crappie so called scooter repair shop located on Queens blvd. let's just say this guy totally sabotaged my scooter! He managed to blow out all my lights and fried the insides of a major component I was so upset more so since the scooter had a sentimental value to me. Fortunately it was a blessing in disguise I found out from word of mouth from a fellow PEV enthusiast about Joker's Garage and Lounge, he told me these guys are incredible they can fix anything and he wasn't kidding! As I got to their shop I was immediately welcomed by the shops owners Joe and Javier aka Joker they were very nice, friendly and concerned with the way my scooter was handled by that chop shop I went to, Joe and Joker reassured me not to worry that my scooter is in good hands and I will be very pleased once there done with it they even gave me a precise time frame. The very next day I get a video by Joe explaining to me what was the issue with my scooter I contacted them back and we discussed on the repairs and even going for some "UPGRADES"...hehe I I'll tell you about the upgrades in abit. As days went on I was receiving detailed videos showing me step by step progression on my scooter with that alone I was amazed on how Joker took the time out in doing this it really spoke volumes on how seriously they take their job and customers. One day I'm at work so I get another video this time Joker let's me know she's all done and it was way ahead from the time frame he gave me. I quickly got over there the next day. Joker and Joe tell me to take her out for a spin first to let them know what I think they want to make sure before I pay them that I'm happy that there's no issues at all. Holy S#@!....remember the "UPGRADES" I spoke about, well you remember the time when you were just a lil kid waiting patiently for Christmas morning so you can open up your presents and was so excited especially more so if you got exactly what you wanted well that was me. The scooter over exceeded my expectations I was floored I couldn't believe how it felt, handled and preformed it was like getting a brand new scooter Joker even fixed the stem wobble it had nothing was a miss everything was perfect so unreal Joker and Joe you guys hit it out the park I will forever be a loyal customer. Joker's Garage and Lounge is the place to be!!!! Don't hesitate!!!

Recently stopped picking up my calls and text message. (718) 938-4472. I think he blocked me…read more. I bought my Tomos Targa limited edition with electric start to his shop. I was not expecting the bill to be so expensive. He will say "I'll try to work with you." First, he said the price was $190, then $650, and finally $950. When I bought it over, I wanted the electrical wires to be connected and the engine running. When I came to pick it up... - The headlights does NOT turn on and off. It always says on. - The turn signals does NOT work - The brake light does NOT work - The horn does NOT work - All the wires were nice and neat when i bought it over. When i picked it up, the electrical wires were dangling everywhere and cut. I asked him what the green wire you cut was and left disconnected. He doesn't know. All this play in the wires, and it still doesn't work. - The electric start does NOT work even though he claimed that the battery needs to be charged. It worked before I bought it over. It would crank when I plug in the battery. I got it back, it was completely dead. - The bike was very clean when I bought it over. It was very dirty and greasy when I got it back. We agreed to fix the engine and wires, but he only fixed the engine for $950 by using "new old stock" parts he claimed. The parts are just used parts, not NOS. Everything that was done was bare minimum. I got so pissed off when I got it back. I wanted to make this bike to look like new again but he only made it worse. I was going to keep it but now I want to get rid of it... my heart was broken when I picked it up. I asked him why isn't all the electric lights working and he said that I have to pay him more to wire it even though I told him on the phone, "fix the wiring and the engine".
