Delicious shoe string fries and cool atmosphere. I ordered chicken parm sliders and chili (which comes with tortilla chips). I got literally eight (8) chips with the chili and the buns for the sliders were very burnt. the chicken cutlets were pretty good as well as the chili but clearly put together very sloppily. The burnt buns made the sliders inedible and the chips were a major disappointment. If you want decent food for decent price you can check it out but don't get your hopes up .... read more

The bartender was very nice and sweet and that's about it. Came here for lunch as an unsweet iced tea and was told they don't have it then I ordered a salad with grilled chicken and shrimp on there. About 45 minutes later, I asked if the food was coming out.. I was told it's on its way 10 minutes later I asked again.. I guess either they were growing the lettuce in the back or making a salad was a little difficult. Then they came back to me and said that the chef couldn't find the shrimp and he was grilling the chicken now almost an hour later.. we all got up and walked out. Again, the bartender was very nice and apologetic. I don't blame her, but they were definitely no chefs in this place. Cooks at best. The beer was cold. When we could get it, that is. Two ladies behind the bar, one of them kept running out to service tables as well. Both of them seemed focused on the people in the middle of the bar, not so much those at either end. We had to literally jump up and wave at them to get their attention. I've ordered a chicken sandwich from here on Uber eats a few times and it was always good, so I finally decided to visit the brick and mortar with some friends for lunch. I can't say I'll be doing that again. For starters, the soda is knock-off. Not a big deal if it tastes good still, but this one was gross. I had a "sprite" and it was just terrible. It was also served to me in a filthy glass which really made it unappetizing. I started off with the Italian wedding soup, and it was a real disappointment. It was chicken broth with huge meatballs in it and macaroni. It was extremely unappealing both to the eye and the tongue. Flavorless, and not prepared correctly. I had the chicken sandwich as my meal, which was fine as usual. It is the only thing on the menu I would order again. I really can't say I would go running back though, as the whole experience left me kind of grossed out (the place doesn't look or smell clean, and it was a Sunday afternoon). Went there last night to hear The Band Easy Street. The band was fantastic and I wanted to hear them to the end. About 9:15 I decided to order dinner and was informed the kitchen was closed. What?? First, the bartender should have asked to cook to wait before leaving to see if anyone wanted food. She also knew that we were planning on having a few drinks and then eating, it would have been nice to be warned that the cook decided to leave early. May never go back for that reason, it's a shame.The food looked good, that atmosphere was great, but obviously the staff could do better. read more

Rocky point ale house is a great place to kick back enjoy some drinks and watch the occasional karaoke! I usually order the grilled veggie wrap without cheese so it is vegan. They also offer a hummus and veggie platter. Other than that they don't have many other vegan options. read more

We have no idea why we haven't stepped foot in this place in all of the years we've lived in Mt. Sinai and complained that there aren't enough good pubs around. We literally agreed that we would go in and say we were stopping for a beer, but no plan to eat. We were pleasantly surprised with a wonderful bartender named Lisa Maria who was welcoming and charming and had great ideas about new and refreshing drinks. The food was, much to our surprise, fresh and delicious. The calamari was outstanding the sliders were expected to be like White Castle, but came out as fresh ground beef on puffy yummy dinner rolls and a slab of dill pickle...clearly not preformed or frozen. Everyone was enjoying Lisa Maria's own concoction of vanilla vodka, orange red bull and a splash of OJ. I didn't think I was in the mood for it until I heard the word "creamsicle" and then I was all in! It did not fail to impress my childhood love of the tradional creamsicle on a stick! HUGE PLUS FOR MUSIC LOVERS: LISA MARIA HAS HER SPOTIFY PLAYLIST OF OVER 300 SONGS PIPED IN! This is as important as lighting and ambiance...*too many eateries fail in that category due to LED (yuk) lighting and cavernous sound. Not here though! Their motto - "No service!" They have no waitstaff, and the bartenders are inattentive. They have to run food from the kitchen. The owners are useless as the woman stands talking to friends and the dude (Eric?) just wants to count money in the register. This place is just plain poorly run. Also, same dull acoustic acts playing badly every week, how about some new music?? One of them were so bad, she couldn't hit a note. There is really not one positive thing I can say about this place. Used Uber Eats for my order. Order was completely wrong and didn't receive the soda. Called to complain and was told I'd get a call back about my new order. Waited 10 minutes and didn't get a call so I called again. Person on the phone said Uber driver forgot to give my soda because of multiple orders and that my corrected order would be sent within 15-20m. Restaurant called me back confirming my address (which they had incorrect) even though the incorrect delivery was sent to correct address. I never received my corrected order!!!!! read more

Great food!! Came in for a drink with my husband and had a great time! The food was really good, we had chicken fried steak and an alehouse burger! Couldn't have asked for a better lunch. We also had a great time with the bartender Tracey and a few of the other patrons at the bar. All in all great place! read more
