Yummmoooo!

Who doesn't like chocolate candy! Well look no further than this amazing candy store located in the Folsom Premium Outlets. My absolute fav is specifically Rocky Road chocolate candy. Dark chocolate, marshmallows and nuts! Is there really anything better than that?:) This is a really cute, small candy house with loads of different candy choices. Pictures included just to make you drool!!! Popped in to get a couple of pounds of rocky road marshmallow for my GFs birthday. She was lucky to get the 1-pound box... because the other one was consumed before I could get it to her LOL. I really liked they give veterans a discount! They so deserve! Now you know where to go for your particular candy craving! Cheers!

Furry mold right above my thumb.

I would give zero Stars if I could. I bought caramel apples on a Wednesday afternoon. Don't do that they are guaranteed to be rotten. And then she tries to tell you because they're unnatural product that it sometimes rots. No chick, you're selling old food because you don't want to lose the profit! So anyways I bought the apples went and had an amazing $90 steak dinner came home and ate my apples. Keep in mind I live over an hour away. Vomited up my expensive steak dinner because of her rotten apples. They were moldy and I have pictures!! Then when you call to complain to the owner she hangs up on you. I am calling the Better Business Bureau, I am calling the Health Department and doing whatever I can to get her franchise taken away from her and shut down. I will be calling corporate as well.

Peanut Butter Bark

I was a bit more than surprised at the price tag of the two candy items I picked: -Peanut Butter Bark (1 piece, ~4x5") and -Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Bucket (1 piece, ~3 or 4" around) (basically a peanut butter cup). These two items came to just under $8. I was briefly ok with the price, because I thought that the chocolaty peanut buttery goodness would be mind blowing. Are you kidding me? Dark chocolate! Peanut butter! I was ready to make this place my second home. However, I was pretty disappointed with the product, once I tried it. I may have erred when I ordered the bark...I'm thinking now that I may not be a bark person, or something. My bad. However, the Peanut Butter Bucket was a sure thing for me because I would happily LIVE on peanut butter cups for the rest of my days, and I am quite sure I will never order these particular peanut butter cups again. Ever. The chocolate was good, but the peanut butter inside was not like real peanut butter; it was some kind of a sugary blend with fake peanut butter. I'm really pretty mad that I wasted that kind of money for such a let down. The employee was friendly and helpful. The store was clean.

First off when I got here there was no one in the store for over 10 minutes, no response to all of the times I yelled hello. Then after I purchased a $7 Carmel Apple, which was very dry and and obviously not fresh, I got to the bottom of the Apple and found it was covered in mold. I went back to the store to tell her the Apple was moldy, and to ask for a refund, and she offered another Apple (she could offer me nothing else, not even a simple $7 refund). Overall service wasn't great, and the food was honestly terrible.

Came home to find a hair in our chocolate covered Twinkie.

The cashier just walked in from outside, coughing in her hands and touching the products and handing them to customer. Nasty.

They have macarons, fresh made cakes, espresso bar, hot chocolate bar, macaron ice cream. I had to try the Tiramisu ice cream and it was so delicious and full of flavor. I took home 6 cookies which were a variety and told her to pick what she thinks would be best because I had a hard time choosing myself. I sat down at the tables and relaxed while I enjoyed my ice cream. This place is over the TOP beautiful inside and their quality truly shows in their staff service, environment and quality of taste of sweets! I already raves about it to my sister and a friend and now we can't wait to return for a coffee date and try more!

The service was fantastic from start to finish. We had the chance to chat with Julian himself along with a couple other staff members, and everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The stars of the meal were definitely the breakfast wrap and the bacon, egg & cheese croissant. The breakfast wrap had the perfect balance of scrambled eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes, avocado, and cheddar cheese. Everything worked together without any one ingredient overpowering the others, and the salsa on the side was a great addition. Honestly, it's one of the best breakfast burritos/wraps I've had. And the croissant... wow. It was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the croissant was light, flaky, and buttery, and every bite was packed with flavor. The Nutella crepe was also very good. The crepe itself was perfectly made, though there was a little more Nutella than I personally prefer. Next time I'll probably ask for less, but that's purely a matter of taste. The avocado toast was the only item that didn't quite hit the mark for me. It was good, but the honey flavor dominated the dish and drowned out some of the other ingredients. I'd love to taste a little more balance there. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and genuine hospitality made for a great breakfast. We'll definitely be back, and I'll be dreaming about that croissant until then.

We also spoke with Bailey, was lovely and apparently took the fall on Julian's behalf. I'd also like to note we ordered a cake here last year and visit Julian's restaurant in Folsom about 2x a month so, as I said I'm extremely disappointed. We ordered a cake for my son's birthday. Wanted a jungle theme. I could've gotten past the ugly (and not what we ordered) decorations had the cake not been cracked in multiple places on the bottom tier. I called, let them know it was cracked and they had me talk to the owner, Julian, who went on to blame us, saying this happened during transport. (It didn't, the cake was frozen. You can also see the terrible job icing it at the top proving it was frozen, and that the cake didn't shift in transport as there was no icing or anything on the cake board.) He argued with me, he was exceptionally rude and tried to put the blame on me. Eventually, he agreed to refund me 50% for the cake. When we cut into it, not only was it frozen, (the same tier that was cracked) but it was also not even the correct filling or cake. I'm not sure what happened, but I called to demand a full refund as this cake was not what I ordered, and the arrogant, rude, owner Julian insulted me, saying I was trying to con a small business. Bailey, who was extremely professional and polite, called back to confirm that wasn't what we ordered and to offer us a full refund. Julian is rude, disrespectful and didn't provide what I ordered. When he was called out he insulted me, insulted my intelligence (by telling me the cake wasn't frozen--when it was, as well as tell me I tried to con a small business.) as people who were extremely loyal to his business, I'm disgusted and disappointed and will not be returning. I'd also encourage you to beware of spending your money here, because you may not get what you order, you may but it's a full risk you will have to take. I also refuse to support rude or mean people. Best of luck if you gamble and order here. I wouldn't have nearly been as mad, nor taken the time to write this review had he not been such a jerk. I'll let you make your own assumptions, based on the emails between us and the company, and what we received. Good luck if you choose to order from them!

In the case of Crack'd its much much worse. The toffee is otherworldly and its impossible to put down. I only have experience with the Original Toffee. Its buttery crunchy taste with a slight smokiness and vanilla undertones is among the best I have tasted. The almonds help cut the sweetness and add a needed savor componenet to the whole affair. Its coupled with the semi sweet chocolate which for my palate is perfect. Full on milk chocolate would be too overwhelming IMHO. Its a small family run local business and has excellent customer service. They can be found locally at several grocery stores or at fairs and the like. Better yet they have a website that allows for super easy ordering. I'm not in the habit of making requests in reviews but I for one would love to see: Toffee with just the almonds Toffee with pistachios and lastly I throw down the gauntlet with some Honeycomb toffee!
