DON'T BUY GUNS HERE! Update on my review. The weapon I purchased was refunded. Additionally, they worked with me on a DD they had. Honestly, I never thought they would work with me at all. I had already lined up a gunsmith to look at and possibly repair the gun. I didn't have to! Rockall Pawn looked at the gun and did NOT give me any issue with the return. IT WAS 100% legit return BTW. I respect their ability to honor the return. The only reason now for the 4 instead of 5, is being removed because I had to bring the gun back and it was not thoroughly gone through prior to sale. However, they did do the honorable thing even though, I don't think they had to. So... Thanks RP for refunding the purchase. I did buy another one they had and will recommend them on their customer service. They still need to have a better review of their gun purchases, but overall. GO SEE THEM!!! read more

After pawning a rifle with optics, I spoke to Marvin about leaving it in the $300+ Pelican case with 4-30 round mags (with ammo). The agreement was that I'm pawning the gun and optics, not the the case OR mags. I picked up the first time, pawned again later with the same agreement. "I'd like to keep in in the Pelican, but the case and mags are not part of the pawn deal. He agreed and both times said that's no issue. Unfortunately I was not able to pick it up the second time. When I called for the case, mags, and ammo, he went back on his word. "You can have the ammo back and 2 magazines, but I have to have 2 mags to sell it. The case was included in the pawn." Then why give me 1/2 the mags back? Then he said he'd sell me back my Pelican to me for a "deal". His exact words were "You mean MY case?" If you think it's your case Marvin, then you would think all 4 mags were "yours" too, but you didn't because you offered back 2 of MY magazines. I will never use this place again. Why offer half my mags back yet keep the case? Because you know we agreed on it! Greed, greed, and more greed! The sad part is I had what I thought was a good relationship with Marvin and the store over the past year plus. That was all washed away in flash! read more

When Julian worked their great place. did business with them a lot . Pawned my whole gun collection several times and always paid them off. Did the same last time and they sold all my gun without even a call telling me they were going to do so. I would not recommend them at all, will never step foot in there again. I needed to find a pellet gun to help me fight off opossum coming into my yard.I love feeding birds but don't want them or even squirrels who do damage. They had exactly what I needed. Explained how to use it. I got the gun, ammo, and CO2 cartridiges for a very reasonable price. I don't see how it could have been done better or with more professionalism. Being in the gun business for 20+ years, I have dealt with many pawn shops and gun shop. These guys are too notch. Kenny was a sales person and he was friendly knowledgeable and professional. The other gentleman that was there with him (I didn't catch his name) but he was extremely knowledgeable on the ATF and recording requirements which I knew how that worked but it was nice to hear him know it so well. Went to Rockwall Pawn to look at guns & the young guy seemed to have an issue with me being female. So I went down the road & made Several thousand dollars in purchases at the Gun Zone in Mesquite, where I was treated with respect. Have steered several other ladies (who've also spent thousands of dollars) to Gun Zone & B-Tactical in Caddo Mills, because they know how to treat ladies. Tried to sell some of my knife collection here, horrible experience. Waited forever even to be acknowledged by staff, then the lady who did help me told me "we don't take Walmart crap here"...my knives were NOT purchased at Walmart nor were they as cheap as she insinuated. Treated like a criminal... I was out of town on business and needed a cheap laptop to get me by, I purchased a Sony vaio for 120.00, seemed it would do the job. I get back to my motel and after some usage it begins to randomly shutdown. I immediately return to their shop and explain the situation. In turn I am accused of removing parts, and/or tampering with it internally due to the fact their PC 'technician' likely wasn't even A+ certified and if so needs remedial training. I ended up finally exchanging it and paying an additional 20.00, but I will never do business here again and do not recommend. read more

The store was clean and well organized, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they had a nice selection of guns. I asked to use restroom, no problem, restroom was clean, too. First of all, I wish I could leave less than one star for this place. My wife and I went in there on a Saturday afternoon just to look around and see what they had. And we told one of them out front that we just came in to look around. We were the only ones in the store so I guess the two guys behind the counter didn't have anything better to do. So, one of them followed us around like he was sure we were going to steal something. The other one kept asking "what can I show you, what kind of show you". This was our first time in there and I can guarantee you it will be our last. I'll never step foot in that place again. read more

the lady at the front tried to lowball me on ebay based off product that wasnt even the same model as i brought in, then told me she wouldnt be interested after i called her out on her "knowledge"... all you had to do was look at the pictures to see they were not the same, after she said she wasnt interested told me she would defer to her manager to see if he was..smh!... yea they will sell you some junk but dont try to get a loan from there...American pawn down the street gave me exactly the loan i asked for with 0 hassle.. read more
