management is very rude. Items they were selling were super overpriced. most pawnshops try to offer some sort of value to the community due to the fact that they get their items at pennies on the dollar. Not this pawnshop they won't even let you haggle and they stand over you while your looking at their items and make you feel uncomfortable when your just trying to see if the item is in good shape.whatever you're looking to buy your better off buying it on eBay, where you can be sure your getting what your paying for. read more

Terrible service, gentleman in the front started being a total azzhole because I hadn't picked up my item from the pawn shop. Then starts going on a power trip and says I can charge you more if you'd like to start with me. HUGE ego and he's not even the owner. He always wears a hat. Who knew there was a good pawn shop so close to my house? I walked in and one of the guys was busy, the other guy seemed to ignore me but when I went up to ask him about some of the stuff, he was quick and responsive. There's a good selection of tools but of the ones that I asked about, they had just been put out. Depending on how quickly they get new stuff, this seems like a decent place. I'll be back more frequently. They have a good selection of mp3 players, cell phones, point and shoot cameras, computers, etc. Check it out! read more

Braved the area to check it out. First mistake. It is located in a run down shopping complex on the east side of Plano. Looks can be deceiving so I went in. Second mistake. Walked around the cluttered place and saw a few overpriced items that I wanted to inquire about. The young guy did not ever even look up from his cell phone. Disappointed. I will never do business with this sorry excuse for an business establishment ever again. They posted an ad on Craigslist for light fixture for $100 OBO (or best offer). I called them to see if it was still available. They said yes so I drove across town to come see it. I offered $60 for it and the NICE guy said he could do $80. I then when I offered $70 some older A$$hole (which I believe was the owner) from behind the counter told me to just forget it... "I changed my mind I don't want to sell it to you". I'm said "are you serious?" He said "yep." He basically then wanted me to leave. I was blown away by how unprofessional he was. So apparently they do not like to participate in basic pawn shop haggling. Never again will I give them my business nor will I recommend them to anyone. read more

Okay, I've never liked the idea of walking into a pawn shop alone. As a young woman, there's just something about a grimey place with dirty tools that dosen't strike me as the place to be. But, oddly eneough, I have to say that I was surprised of the level of comfortability that I felt and the deal that I found! The guys were friendly and never made me feel out of place. I have found amazing jewelry at pawn shops and I NEVER walk past one. It just takes a second and You Never Know. This one is a good, garden variety neighborhood pawnshop. I popped in on the way to try Peking Duck at Mr. Wok! It's clean, no frills and attentive service. only reason why i gave one star is because you have to have one to leave a review. i have been in this store many times over past few years and have paid hundreds if not thousands over the years in electronics and guitars some tools. not a enough to be a regular though, but one thing has been a constant, everytime even if slow, the people there are really, unpleasant, you could say dicks. politely asking a question WHEN YOUR BUYING IT...gets you a "youre bothering me attitude", and usually it can be shrugged off and its their misery not mine causing it so i leave. The other day i saw an item which was broken and missing parts priced at 195.00 when a new one is 299.00.i Missing 4 pieces and a switch broken off needing replaced. I almost got it, but the squirrely attitude turned me off and i left. Next morning thinking i would try one more time, I chatted from facebook acct offered 175. since replacing parts is around 50.00. no answer and after saying "Hello" get a "No thanks." If they have something you gotta have and nowhere else can get it and it has everything on it complete and in good order not needing repairs, then putting up with the bad manners and attitude can be . This is to inform customers that if youre not a friend you wont get the 5stars like the other reviews must have been. Rude people. I went in to buy a drill, and when talking to them about a certain one they told me "you aren't going to buy that drill." Guess I looked like I didn't have money. I went to Texas Jewelry & Loan and bought one there. People are much nicer there. Have a lot more to choose from too. Top cash needs to work on customer service read more

Unfortunately for other pawn shops as we would like to think there are good ones that aren't crooked, this one didn't honor their origin quoted price and claimed selective memory. Thought they were stand up guys on the first visit, they said check others and come back if you can't do any better and we'll give you $500, only to be lied to and low balled when I came back.
