I wish they would update their website, the corporate website says they close at 7PM and google maps says they close at 7PM and Apple Maps says they close at 7PM Yet I arrived at 5:45 and they were already closed and the doors were locked. Very frustrating. read more

This store rips off customers and has unethical practices. I went here and wanted to purchase a guitar, I asked if item had case and they said they could check on it. I asked if they would take a certain amount (less then 10% discount from dated tag) and they said yes. They came back with a case and said they if I paid more money I could have this matching case. So they had sold someone a guitar that this case was supposed to go with, but they didn't give them the case, lessening their value. And now they have this item in inventory which doesn't go to any item. Instead of providing a service to me a customer making a purchase they are charging me more for an item technically they have taken from someone else. I brought this up and they made the comment, "this is the last time I look for a case for someone." So they did not even listen to me. Charged me extra, didn't give someone a case they should of, and then just make snide remarks about it. It's all not ethical. Did not like visiting this store with their crooked policies. read more

They have a wide selection of things, from TVs to heaters. I helped a buddy bail out his TV, and the african american lady was extremely rude in the process. She didn't even allow the TV to be on for more than a minute to verify all was good. So much for their sign saying they'd like to ensure that you smile. read more

I was going into the Pawn to look for some shoes, I go over to their section to see a lot of shoes that at first glance we're obviously fake. I checked through and made my choices and go to checkout. I ask if I could get a deal for buying in bulk, they oblige and give me a MASSIVE discount. I had looked over my shoes before I left the store to make sure everything looked good on them, however after I heard the deal they were giving me, I just rushed to purchase. However, when I got back home I found out that every shoe that I bought were replicas. I do understand that I should have done a better job looking at the shoes, however, I do feel like it is the job of the business to make sure things like this do not happen. They have shoes priced at $200+ and didn't do any due diligence towards legit checking them. I do not recommend them for especially buying shoes, but I have also read and heard they have dirty practices in general. read more

I've been to many a pawn shop now. I've been doing it so long, I used to have to look up the pawn shops in the yellow pages and then use a mapsco to get there. Yes, I'm that old. Back in the day, I was looking for car audio equipment. This was just as Ebay started going, so it was still a toss up between what you could get at the pawn shop versus what you could get on eBay. Well, today I wandered into this pawn shop and was a little surprised both in a good way and in a bad way. First the bad. There was only one person helping people. She was at the register looking at some goods someone was pawning. No one else was available to help look at the stuff in the cases or anything. It was strange. Finally, about 10 minutes later, some guy comes in from outside and asks a guy if he needs help. The second thing that was strange was that there was one guy who just went right behind the counter and started looking at stuff. I've never been allowed behind the counter at any pawnshop so I found this particularly awkward. No one stopped him so I guess no harm, no foul. Thirdly, I kept hearing really crappy sounding music and thought it was a radio or stereo that someone was playing to demo. It turned out to be a patron that had her phone playing music in her pocket. Just playing for everyone to hear. It was particularly annoying. Later, when I leave, she's on her way out too and she's staring me down. What the heck? I have no interest in you, chill out. After all that you want to hear the good? Alrighty then! The place is clean. It's pretty new so I suppose it should be. There's a decent selection of stuff from a Wii fit balancing board to a bunch of Ipads and tablets, jewelry, car stereo equipment, some tools, TVs. All-in-all, it's reasonably stocked. read more

Let me start off by saying about 1-2 years ago I came to this pawn shop twice when I needed a little advance in cash (job change money delayed; LIFE lol ). I had no problem the 1st or 2nd time so a year later I came back. First there was a new manager and new owner. When I came in no one was at the front of the store. So Im looking around and then a short hispanic woman was standing there looking like she was taking inventory. So I jokingly said you suprised me and I nicely asked for a pawn loan. She said ok and kept looking down. So a really nice young lady came out and looked at her like did you help her and she pointed to me and said she needs help. I was like "Ok thats rude" So as the girl was going over my watches she said that we don't accept ones that aren't ticking ( I guess the battery ran dead) So a few mins later the lady was like oh that's a Michelle watch. I was like "Yea". Any who so the young lady was trying to see if the manager would accept it even though the battery is dead. She tried to wind it up and I told her it was battery operated. After about 5 mins she told me my watch was fake. Which just caught me off guard. She didn't try to sugar coat it she was like this is not real. She didn't check the diamnods to see if they were real nor did she look me up in the system. She assumed since it dosent' wind up it must be fake. If she would have looked me up in the system she would have seen that I've paid everything back in a timely fashion and that my watch is not a fake. Then she says its beat up too "No no good" Mind you on the back shelves there is obviously a beat up wii and a wii u (which I sow with my own eyes) but my watch was not only fake but beat up? By the way it was in mint condition (box, warrenty, cards, etc) Then she looks at my other watch and said the box looks cheap and its not worth anything and walks off. I was about to say something but why waste my breath. You would think she had worked at Tiffany's (joke) So she made it seem like I was running a scam which I was not. I was very upset needless to say and fustrated. It was very unprofessional how she talked to me. I work in custmer service for over 6 years and even if we knew something was fake we would be polite about it. My watch wasn't a fake. I brought it over 8 years ago so natrually models and fuctions change. Maybe the new ones aren't battery operated or maybe she's so use to dealing with the fakes she wouldn't know anything real if it bit her in the ass. They had fake sunglasses and purses but that didn't stop them from pawning it. Needless to say go to Top Shop Pawn Or Big Pawn shop here in dallas. They'll treat you like a human being and not the skum of the earth. read more
