My tire blew out on the highway and I had to get my car towed to the dealership. On the way, I called the parts department, and they didn't have the tire in stock but were able to get it from another dealer the same day. Since I originally purchased the tire back in May at another dealer, Christina went above and beyond to get the replacement covered under the road hazard warranty. She had the tire installed and had me back on the road in less than 24 hours even tho I had an off make vehicle. After reading through all negative reviews for this dealer and apologies after apologies from the Service Director and General Manager, customer service has not changed and I highly discourage anyone doing business with them. I typically don't do reviews but after my experience, it's a must. I went to the service center to get my new tires mounted, balanced, and an alignment done on my Jeep. After a 9-hour wait time (technicians had all sorts of problems mounting my tires), I left exhausted from the dealer. The next day I noticed my wheels where damaged / scratched and reported it to the service technician. Apologies came from various people, I took the car in for inspection, and was told it was going to be repaired by their in-house wheel tech. This was welcome news, but their in-house tech couldn't fix it because of the custom mill work on the wheels. The Service Director offered to reimburse me if I can find someone to fix, but told him I didn't know anyone. A month or so passed, with options to replace the wheels came from the Service Director and Service Technician. I provided all the necessary information sizing etc, but it turned out the wheels on my Jeep were no longer available. The next option was to buy different wheels but now instead of four wheel all five wheels would need be replaced (spare tire on rear door of Jeep) for a matching set. I sent both the Service Director and Service Technician preferences, sizing, etc and I was just waiting for order confirmation. A few days passed and the Service Director emails me that they are not fixing and not their fault. Completely unacceptable. Again, nothing has changed with this dealership -- apologies, promises, and leaving the customer hanging is their way. read more

Came in to trade in my Jeep and buy a new truck, first thing I specially told them and repeated numerous times is I wanted the $4500 in equity from the Jeep back in a check, they said great no problem. Come to find out later they when they "claimed" to be marking down the price of the truck, they instead just used my Jeep's equity to reduce the price, "oh oops we forgot you said that and when you agreed to that $0 down that actually means to us that you don't give us anything more but we keep the trade-in equity as that's not part of $0 down", so $0 down was actually $4500 down. Have called them numerous times to talk to the Sales Manager about this and they refuse to call me back. What a load of bullshit. Stay far, far away from this place. read more

Sales reps can't answer what the actual price is. If the experience is this bad while they're still trying to earn the sale, imagine how bad it will be later in the process. I will never buy a car from here again. I bought Jeep gladiator in Dec. Still have not received plates. No one seems to know where they are or cares. I have made several calls to find out were they are to hear the same thing. (We are looking into it). I have been very polite about it but this is ridiculous. **WOMEN BEWARE** I went in without my husband looking to trade in my car for a new jeep. I knew exactly what I wanted and what I would accept for my payments. My salesman came back in with 3 sheets of paper in his hand. I denied the first offer because it was ridiculous and not at all what I told them I was hoping for. He then pulls out another paper with a slightly better offer. Denied that one so he pulls out another. If you had them all from the beginning why not offer the best one first? I denied all three so the salesman goes and gets his manager who proceeds to tell me that "I am not in a dream car buying position" and I should settle for a used car. As if a 40k jeep is my dream car I am glad I didn't settle because I went to another dealership the same day who got me into the same vehicle with a $300/month cheaper note with no money down. The service after the sale is what counts and they aren't even making money on my 2009 Dodge Journey, which doesn't even have parts anymore. Somehow they seem to keep me running down the road. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because of Chrysler. Chrysler won't let them do what would probably fix the intermittent starting issue, but my goodness they have taken every step, including replacing the transmission and honoring my warranty every time. The letter below was sent to the Rockwall Dodge GM on 10/29/23 My advice to anyone purchasing a used car from this dealer is to make sure you've inspected every nook and cranny. Rockwall CDJR General Manager Kelly McMullen 970E Interstate 30 Rockwall, TX 75087 Dear Mr. McMullen Allow me to introduce myself and bring you up to speed on a purchase that took place on 7/24/23 at your dealership. My name is Todd Heck and your sales staff sold our son, Tyler Heck, a 2015 Dodge Durango. A vehicle which he paid cash for, his cash, not mom and dads. Upon returning to Bartlesville, Oklahoma, the check engine light came on for the catalytic converters. This didn't concern him as he knew it was a used vehicle and planned to take care of the repair's out of his own pocket. On August 9th, the car died completely. Sam Campbell was contacted at your dealership and we agreed to take it to your partner store, South Point Dodge in Tulsa. Upon inspection, they found the car had major rodent damage to the electrical system. The service tech at South Pointe stated this was not short-term damage, meaning it did not happen in the 16 days Tyler had owned the vehicle. South Pointe went through the systems and attempted to make the repairs needed. Tyler picked the car up from them on 9/8/23. On 9/11/23 the car was dead again. We made a call to your dealership and talked with Sam Campbell again. I was left with the impression that he was washing his hands of the entire deal. His statement to me was, "We paid what South Pointe thought it would cost to make the repairs. Now it's on them." As I'm sure you're aware, electrical systems in newer vehicles are tricky situations. Of the 100's and 100's of wires in the vehicle, if one was missed, or if the impedance was affected by the repair, the system will still malfunction. While your website touts your multipoint used car inspection, the sales person even told him that you do this when he was looking at the car. I can't help but wonder why the inspector didn't catch some of the telltale signs of wiring damage and most notably, the added wires running from the alternator to one of the computer modules. Also, isn't checking the cabin air filter not one of the inspection requirements? I'd venture to say this one was original to the car and never changed. Was this vehicle even inspected? To say we're disappointed with the transaction is an understatement. We're rolling up on 3 1/2 months since the purchase and he's only had the vehicle in his possession for 20 days. Todd A. They said they were have issues getting the part. Finally in late December they told me the would order and put in a new transmission in about 10 days. Now they are telling me possibly MARCH 3RD! After a $35,000 down payment and two weeks, he's trying to get my navigation system fixed for me. (On a brand new $75,000 truck) Yes, a $75,000 brand new truck and if your nav isn't working, Rockwall CJDR service will tell you... Wait for an over the air fix. What is that? They could replace it but didn't? Nope. Service says, wait for an over the air fix. It might happen this quarter. It might fix it, it might not...but we have your $35,000 (down payment) and we COULD replace it but that would be great customer service. They will not go the extra mile for you. To Rockwall CJDR service, you're nothing but a number. Bottom line, Chris is a great guy. Buy a truck from him if you know there will be no issues, but avoid their service department at all costs. I was not impressed with the, offer one price online then change it when the deal begins business deal. "Dealer adds" is the reason I was given for the $2,500 increase in price. Why not just be transparent from the beginning so people do not waste their time? Second, the extremely lowball offer for my trade. I was not looking for retail for my trade, just a respectable offer. I purchased a new truck a month later from Lakeside Chevrolet after an honest and upfront deal. No haggling over "dealer adds" and a very respectable first time offer for my trade. I am an educated buyer and knew I was being hosed from the moment the deal sheet was laid on the desk at Rockwall Dodge. I do not recommend this dealership due to my personal experience. Update after a response from dealership: The dealer adds comment will absolutely hold water! It's a fact that you advertised one price then inflated the price with "dealer adds" in the deal sheet. Say what you want about the "disclaimers" on the website. Just be upfront and honest from the get go. Secondly the reason I walked, is because the deal in no way made since for anybody but Rockwall Dodge. There was never a hint that Rockwall Dodge wanted to make a deal with me. I felt as if I was treated like a sucker that would eventually sign a very one sided deal. Zero stars. I can't believe this place. I call to try and set an appointment so I went spend my whole Saturday getting a tire replaced. They say they don't set appointments and everything is walk in. Was there for six hours. Six hours and they didn't replace the tire because the advisor I spoke with went off a form another advisor wrote up for the time I was there a week before. So they end up changing my wiper blades instead and left my tire alone because on the paper it was stating the tire that needed changing was the one I had replaced the previous time I was there. Why wouldn't he read the form before sending it and making me wait six effing hours. And then when I bring this up he says to come in Monday so I can speak with the guy who wrote the paper as if I still don't need my tire replaced. Took my 2020 UNMODIFIED Jeep Wrangler in at 37,000 miles due to the death wobble and needed my tires rotated. After taking my vehicle here and waiting 4 days (which I had to keep calling for an update!). They told me I needed a new stabilizer (steering dampener) which would fix the death wobble. This stabilizer would cost over $400 to replace. After doing some research on an this item and realizing that it cost approximately $65.00 and requires only 2 bolts, I decided to do it myself (and yes, I am a woman). Still death wobble! After this did NOT fix the death wobble I did some research and talked to a couple other jeep owners and they stated that the stabilizer does NOT cause death wobble!! Any dealership would and should know this! They never did tire rotation and in the end I needed to replace drag link and tie rod! They NEVER checked ANY of these components! They did NOTHING except waste my time and try to grab a quick $400 from a woman who they think doesn't have a brain! They also said I needed new tires! The tires had very little wear! Please do your research before they want to replace anything! Keep screen shots when they send you the estimates through text because once it's gone it's gone! Final issue was windshield fluid not squirting properly on the windshield. Took it in twice for this issue when it was just under the 30,000 warranty, was fixed temporarily but within a month or so crapped out again! Third time I brought it in for the same issue but was now officially just over the warranty they didn't want to cover it!! If it was fixed properly the first time I wouldn't be back after the warranty!! I don't have time to bring my jeep on and out of service and wait 4 days to have nothing done or to never have the issue fixed!! So I STILL have a non working windshield wiper spray! 7am confirmed appt for an inspection and to check wheel alignment. sat in waiting area for 2 hours before service rep came out to tell me my car still has not been touched. This is ridiculous. He told me oil changes, etc were done before me. Told the service rep to cancel the wheel alignment inspection and just do the car inspection as I have sat here for over 2 hours now with absolutely nothing done on my vehicle. What a difference. A couple of years ago I had my second negative experience and wrote off this dealership. I'll preface by saying that they have new leadership in both the sales and service departments since my last visit. I stopped by to look at a Pacifica on my way home since Dallas dodge had neglected to call us back or help me on 3 minutes occasions (1 service/sales, 2 sales). A friend bought a vehicle here a week ago so I thought at worst I'll see what the limited looks like. What a difference the changes in leadership have made. I was greeted by several associates and the sales manager Chris came by to thank me for visiting soon after arriving. In short I appreciated the friendly attitude and no haggle pricing that allowed us to upgrade my wife's van in less than 24 hours. Prices were below kbb on the new vehicle and above kbb on the trade in without arguments. The story didn't change and they didn't play games. I truly appreciated that. My thanks: Aaron hunter is new to the dealership and brand but was honest and helpful and followed through on everything I asked. The sales manager Chris hogan also helped me through the process and I think he is a big part of the change in culture that moved me from a 1 star rating to 5 stars. Don't believe any of their lies claiming to have integrity or caring about what's best for the customer because it's all a load of complete crap. They'll blatantly lie to your face as much as they need to until you agree to something and then they'll pull the ole bait and switch and hope you don't notice it when you're signing the paperwork. Then they'll claim ignorance and that you signed it so oh well nothing they can do about it now. Thought I had a good experience with them only to find out they lied several times to my face on several different occasions and about several different things.
