My experience in calling these companies was basically for $50.00/hr, 2 hr. min, you get two guys and a truck. That's it!!! So I decided to hop on Yelp to broaden my demographic search to see who else would pop up that had any reviews worth exploring. Again, being from out of town, it was a must to find a moving company that would ensure the move would go without a hitch. I was SOLD the moment Albert answered the phone. Alberto, the owner, was extremely professional in discussing our moving needs, quoting their services and reviewing their scheduling process. Though they are insignificantly a few bucks more per hour, I knew that my businesses belongings would be in the right hands. OH! Did I mention they also make available extra moving supplies like boxes, box tape, wrap, etc....at no additional charge! The MOVE was a huge success and not one item was dinged, scratched or broken! OK Where to start? Well, it started with Albert who was our first contact and managed our move. He was professional, courteous and extremely responsive. He worked HARD to accommodate our schedule and was very gracious in responding to my anxious questions. The team arrived AHEAD of schedule to load the truck and worked steadily with only a break for lunch. They were VERY good at taking care of all our belongings---whether it was an antique or junk from the garage--everything was treated with respect and care.They arrived promptly as scheduled the next day in Austin and worked tirelessly unloading for 8 hours(!) with good humor and great attitudes. Never a complaint or rude remark despite having to move a HEAVY safe and refrigerator up front stairs. I really can't think of a business I've dealt with in life that was so customer centered. From top to bottom, they were the best. I would wholeheartedly and without any reservations recommend them! Shout out to Osvaldo for his superior skills at determining how best to pack, load and maneuver furniture, and to the Martinez bros (including lil bro in law) for their good cheer and incredible work ethic. I was more than impressed with Albert and his crew. They were prompt, professional, careful, and efficient. Albert was very good about communicating clearly with me. The crew was clean cut and respectful. They knew how to pack and carry things. The entire job came in $100 under the quote he gave me. I cannot stress enough the professionalism of this crew. There was a problem with the truck the morning of my move. Albert and the crew had to rent another truck from Penske that morning and still showed up at my house at the agreed upon time. I didn't know service like that existed in the Valley. The movers provided outstanding service. They set everything up in the new house. They put my bed together and were patient with me when I changed my mind and asked to move furniture to different places. One of the movers even did a quick fix on my broken washing machine for me. I was VERY impressed with these movers. Their timeliness (Yes, here in the RGV where everything seems to be on island time, they showed up within the 30 minutes they were scheduled to!). They were thorough and they listened to what I needed as this was a double move, meaning half the items to storage and the rest to the new place and many other little necessary details that I needed, for example certain items in storage needed to be in front for easy access etc. I have moved MANY times while living in Southern California (and even there the movers were always at least 2 hours late) and have had either ok or bad service from movers, but these Rockstars here in the Valley worked like a well oiled machine and got it done! Also, even though I was leery at the price, it actually turned out less than what I expected with the double move. These guys worked fast! I scheduled with these guys about a week to 10 days before the move, and I wasn't sure what to expect. What I got was a cheap, professional, and a very friendly crew. The owner of the company came by to oversee and assist, and he understands the true meaning of customer service. We weren't exactly done packing at the scheduled time of their arrival, so they assisted in making boxes and got things moving right away. There were no hidden fees or gimmicks. In fact, they even assembled a brand new basketball goal from the box that I had purchased the day before. And even though it got late that night and it was too dark to see - the owner came back the next day to finish the assembly - free of charge. Wow. What can I say, these guys go above and beyond! I have used them several times throughout the years and have never had an issue. They are trustworthy, prompt, respectful and professional. They took great care of my belongings and were even able to help us with some last minute stuff. They have fair prices for the service they provide and I recommend them without reservation. We moved from an apartment to a storage unit and then a few weeks later called them again when we moved into our house. The guys even helped me with some outdoor plants in this extreme heat which was ​so appreciated. Don't hesitate to hire them. The guys are great and the owner is such a nice and trustworthy person! Every time we had a plan something would change and Alberto was patient, kind, understanding and very accommodating. I live out of town and needed someone to move my brother to assisted living. Rock Star Moving went above and beyond!! My brother is a diabetic and his blood sugar level was so dangerously low that he wasn't waking up. They stayed there, went in and got him moving again! Then packed him up, moved him, unpacked him and made sure he was ok in his new place. With no family close this was more than I could have ever expected! RockStar Moving Co. really are rock stars when it comes to moving! The team of two that handled my move were polite, punctual, & very smart when handling my belongings. They wrapped all the furniture with either bubble wrap or quilted blankets to prevent scraps, tears & dents.
