We were prepping our home to get on the market and wanted to do it quickly. Of the paving companies we got estimates from, J Scott was the most professional and offered the best value. They were able to restore our driveway to its original width (grass had easily overgrown 1-2 feet of it) making it easer to get in and our of our vehicles, and the surface looks great. When we needed to reschedule at the last minute due to rain delaying another contractor that needed the driveway, J Scott was accommodating and still able to complete the driveway in our requested timeframe. Now we've got curb appeal and are ready to list. When considering a paving job, definitely consider J Scott.

Now, the asphalt will literally come apart every time I pull out of my garage in the winter, and my concrete apron is now cracked. This cycle will repeat every year until the area is properly fixed: which requires cutting, excavating, and replacing the soil with a deep, compressed crushed stone base. When confronted, the company resorted to 'double speak,' offering a 'free sealcoat' as a solution. Sealcoating is a cosmetic finish; it cannot fix a failed foundation or stop structural heaving. They are essentially trying to paint over a crumbling building. This company ignores professional paving standards and offers useless 'freebies' to avoid fixing their structural mistakes. Do not trust them with your property.
