I gave it to Hany and not only was he able to figure out the defect, he was able to fix the defect so that it would never fail again. He's super nice and friendly and more than willing to share the details about the work he does. I am glad that his business exists and that it is still possible to repair electronics instead of throwing them away and contributing to e-waste. Everyone else I reached out to can only repair phones, so Hany is a great resource to have in the Seattle area.

I decided to see if I could find someone to repair it and found Hany. It took him a while to get the part he needed due to logistical issues with Samsung but he got it done and gave me an upgrade from 8K to 16Kwhile he was at it! The TV works great now and was only half the cost of buying a new one so I am very happy! He is very busy and both times I was there, he had happy customers dropping by. If you want a good quality electronis repair, give Hany a call!

So far the man has helped me fix an 81' 23 inch Zenith console TV (by repairing the 9-160 board), and also a 1980 Zenith "Integrated Stereo" system. Literally every other shop and tech in a 50 mile radius had turned me down (for the last 10 years or so) on these specific devices - BUT Victor took a chance, and said basically "Eh, 50/50, I try... I love the weird old stuff." Well, the dude knows his stuff (weird, old or indifferent), and he didn't just try, he went far and beyond what any normal person hoping for a quick buck would do - and honestly, even IF he hadn't fixed these 2 items, I'd still just be thankful the guy is around and still having a passion for fixing this stuff. He really knows the old school basics of capacitance, soldering, schematics, etc vs real life experience and diagnostic. In a nutshell, Unicorns ain't real, until you literally meet one. A++++. The guy is a terrific go to imho thus far.

I recommend taking any vintage electronics to him. He's reasonably priced too. Had an emergency phone screen replacement for my girlfriend's Samsung S25+ after it dropped on…read moreconcrete and cracked. Cost $330 for the repair. After replacement my girlfriend and I started noticing condensation both front and back camera lenses that eventually led to the phone randomly turning off. Tried troubleshooting but unable to turn phone on. Took it to another third party phone repair shop for diagnosis and was told whoever did the replacement left the inside messy and the screen connection was loose. The repair guy was able to bring the phone back to life during diagnosis but the screen was flickering. He recommended to take it back to where it was originally repaired. Drove back to Redmond and explained the situation. Employee said it will be about 2 hours to take a look and will call/text when ready. Okay cool. So we waited 2 hours and when we came back and he asked did you receive a text. I said it was already the 2 hour mark... The one hour device repair guy then explained the screen connection is corroded and proceeded to show a picture on his phone of the corrosion. He suggested we must've dropped it in water. So now I'm thinking, how can a connection be corroded internally if this phone is water resistant and the phone had these problems AFTER the repair? Even so, we NEVER exposed it directly to any source of liquid since the time of initial repair. Even if we did, shouldn't it NOT have this issue anyway? Also we NEVER received any document or signed anything acknowledging of any potential risks after repair. I asked the repair guy what are our options. He said he can order the screen replacement and have it done on Wednesday. I asked him if this was going to be charged. He said yes. I said no. He said call the number for "headquarters". I called and no one picked up. We left and on the drive home the number from "headquarters" calls us. I explained the situation again to "headquarters" guy and asked for what are our options. He said we'd have to pay $309. I said no. He said let me place you on hold and call the repair guy in Redmond. We waited on hold for a bit. He comes back and says the corrosion is from water damage. I'm thinking what is this guy trying to imply? We continued to have a back and forth until he relents and says I can do it for $209. I said no thanks. That is literally the cost of a replacement phone adding both repair costs. Honestly I was livid after this conversation. Not only was there zero accountability from their end, but they tried to shift blame on the customer for using their phone normally. TLDR: Please make sure you are aware the risks of getting anything repaired from this business. It might make more sense buying a replacement instead.

At first, we took it to Best Buy Geek Squad, thinking that was our best option: they identified a faulty AIO cooler but ended up damaging other components of my PC even more unfortunately... We were extremely hesitant to trust anyone with this expensive build, but from day one, Dr. PC Fix listened carefully to every issue we had. They were so kind and patient with us while we worked on getting replacement parts, and since their help, my PC has been working PERFECT these past 2-3 years. To this day, I still think about how much they helped and how thorough and professional they were. If you have a build that's precious to you, you can trust Dr. PC Fix completely!

That was my situation as I faced the ending support of Win 10 and programs that required Win 11. Enter Dr PC Fix to the rescue! I took my Tower in for as estimate and was presented with 2 options. Buy a new device, or upgrade by salvaging what still works. Since our home network is more ethernet based than wifi, and we still use our CD drive, SD card readers, and connect devices and peripherals through cables, we elected the upgrade, knowing it could be complicated. Everything turned out wonderfully, and I'm learning how to navigate and use the new features. The upgrade process had a hiccup, but Dr PC Fix came to the rescue by immediately and courteously resolving things, while displaying their superior customer satisfaction policy. Their communication and patient explanations were greatly appreciated. I'm still learning about new features and will use their remote service if I encounter any roadblocks. I give DrPcFix my highest recommendation - truly extraordinaire! BJ
