Great device with great food! You can seat yourself and when you do, you can order your food from a tablet at your table. You can even request service from the device. I had the spicy miso ramen and my fiancé ordered sushi, tuna and salmon. After you place your order, you wait for a "rocket" to come down a conveyor belt to bring you your food. I had so much fun watching this thing fly pass the booths with food. The miso was so flavorful and spicy that I couldn't stop eating it. Top five ramen for sure! My fiancé said the sushi was really good and fresh and he filled up on it. We also had tempura veggies and fried dumplings. When I'm back in the city, I'll come back for a nice lunch. It definitely seemed like the space was set up to optimize for their takeout orders but even still, it was still spacious and pleasantly decorated, clean, and bright inside. Revolving sushi, bullet train sushi, ROCKET SUSHI, you name it, I love it. I love the concept of being able to choose what you eat at your leisure, not to mention you can continue your social (or anti-social) interactions at the table without being interrupted by servers or having to decide all that you want at the start of a meal. Number one my server Jeffery was excellent. He helped me through the whole process. Been here a few time and this is the first time I ordered more hot food than sushi. Of course I kept my favorite Sake Toro Nigiri which is so fresh and such a good deal! I mean look at it! Anyway, I love how they separate the curry with the Tonkatsu when it come so it stays crispy the whole time. I love how the name of the restaurant literally describes how they deliver the sushi to your table. You are given an iPad where you can add 4 items per order - once the order is through, they will make it and send it over to you. Depending on the item the time to get to your table can vary, and I found that they tended towards longer wait times especially during peak hours. Because of this, I generally prefer the other style of conveyer belt sushi where they send a bunch of dishes on the conveyer belt and you can just grab the dishes as they pass by. The menu itself has many options, including more traditional sushi rolls, nigiri, specialty roles, and dessert items. The two speciality rolls we had were the crunchy roll and the caterpillar roll, and they both tasted delicious. The Hamachi (yellow fin) nigiri was absolutely fantastic, and as a huge plus the portions they gave were way larger than what you would usually get at a sushi place. Finally to start your meal off, I would recommend the Chicken Kara Age, they make them really well here. Overall great experience and despite the amount of food we ordered we didn't end up spending too much. read more

Came here on an outing with our granddaughter. And what we got was delicious sushi with a flair. All COVID 19 protocols are followed and and proof of vaccine w ID is required for all diners. Comfortable tables with your own rocket monorail to deliver your food. Once seated, you order via iPad. If you need help, just tap the button for help and your server (Jesus in our case) was right there to help. It wasn't long after our order, the first rocket delivered our gyoza. Wonderfully tasty. Then came the sushi and some tempura. Some of the best fish I've had in some time. My wife and granddaughter loved the tempura shrimp. All in all, a wonderful experience. The only negative is that there is only street parking. You'd have to park in a lot about 10 min walk on Oak St. Oh well, that's San Francisco. The ramen was fairly good, but it was the nigiri that won my heart. Sure their prices were an few dollars more than nearby places, but WHOLLY CRAP the size! Finally, a sushi place in SF that gives you a BIG piece of fish overtop the rice. It was a struggle to fit that fish in mouth..
