Great company and great experience. Both the first visit when I got an estimate and the second visit when I had my water heater replaced were excellent experiences. Plumbers were extremely nice, seemed very honest, and highly capable. Company ended up under-quoting me for something that turned out to require more expensive equipment and still honored the original quote without me even asking. Highly recommend. read more

Sam was very professional and was at the job site within an hour of my phone call to replace my hot water heater. I highly recommend rocket!

Mike came down this morning to check what was wrong with my kitchen sink and gave me a very fair estimate. He got here right on time and because he knows how bad I need my sink to work he will take care of it sooner than I thought!!! read more

Saw this morning around 11 that my garbage disposal unit was leaking. Read reviews and said why not. I'll give them a call. By 2pm I had a new garbage disposal installed. Nick was nice and did good work. Seemingly no extra charge for same day Saturday service. Might have been a tad expensive but worth it. I'd use these guys again for sure. read more

Second time to my house and both times excellent service: polite and professional, articulate, efficient and clean. I am really impressed!

These guys are really great!! I had a bunch of hair clogging the drains. They came exactly on time. They were gentlemen, polite, and professional. They cleaned the drain and told me how to avoid problem in the future. I'm calling them from now on. Thanks rocket plumbing. read more

I'll never use another plumber again. I was opening a new restaurant and after waiting for hours for service people who couldn't get to my place any where near the time they said they would, it was so refreshing to see rRocket show up 10 minutes early. I had a couple leaks which they found the reason for right away. The cost for the repair was very fair. They work cleanly and efficiently. read more

Rocket Plumbing, but more specifically Sam, has been doing our plumbing for the past two years and re-did the plumbing for our whole house + new water heater last week. Would never go to another plumber. They charge fairly, do a good job, explain what they are doing and give advice, AND they're always polite and in a good mood. Would recommend Rocket Plumbing to anyone. read more

Appt. scheduled between 1 and 2pm. Arrived at 12:45 and completed the job in 20 minutes. No mess, no fuss and tech even helped with a running toilet! Could not be happier with service!! Highly recommend. read more

Thanks to Mike and Nick for doing a great job!

After calling around and getting quotes for a kitchen sink backup (and thinking the garbage disposal gave up the ghost), I called Levi's Plumbing, expecting vague answers and being told that they'd charge time and a half to come out the same day. Not only did Tony call me back within 5 minutes of getting the message from the first guy who answered the phone, but he told he'd stop by my place after the job he was on his way to. He called me back and told me he'd be there by 6:30 and he was there at 6:29! He quoted me a very good price for same day service and was very honest about what needed to be done. He ended up needing to rod and unclog the drain and told us to save our money on the garbage disposal because that was fine. He didn't so much as leave a single spot in the kitchen and was very respectful of our house. They'll be the people I call if I need plumbing work again! read more

It is nice to find a plumber you can trust. I totally agree with the other reviewers about being able to talk to a person and not leave a message when you are in need of a plumber. read more

The plumber fixed my clogged sink and the price was very reasonable too. I would definitely recommend Rocket Plumbing.

I have used Rocket Plumbing 2 times now and highly recommend them. They are up front with costs and can get you right in. They are very courteous, they explain everything they are doing. Will keep using them over and over. read more

I had a frozen pipe that burst. I called up Rocket Plumbing because of their good reviews. I can honestly say that I was not disappointed at all. I was very happy with the plumber that came to fix the pipe. Marlon fixed them quickly and with a great attention to detail. I feel like the price was fair and he was completely honest about everything. He even pointed out the that I could use a coupon towards the repair and found that I had some leaky pipes under my sink. He fixed those as well. I know for sure that I'll call them again for any plumbing needs I have in the future. read more

Fixed my problem very quickly. Total bill was 297 (which included 49 discount from Yelp). Would use again, thanks Tony!

These guys are as good as they get - hands down. They return calls, they are honest, they work quickly and they tell you like it is without feeling like you are just getting sold work you don't need. I've worked extensively with Tony - the guy is great, does quality work and is always on time. I made the mistake of working with some less than quality plumbers out there and have paid the price - don't make my mistake and call these guys. read more

I previously used rocket plumbing earlier this year when we had water backing up out of the floor drain. They came out in reasonable time were friendly suggested redoing our catch basin and said they would email some estimates. They never did no biggie not a current need. So when I needed them to come out around the beginning of this month because of a leak from the upstairs bathroom my husband called and left a message. No return call. I called two days later spoke to a person took all my information on formed them that my husband had previously called he claimed he did not receive the message. Okay said he would put me on stand by for the next day they were busy. He said he would call me by 12 the next day to let me know of they would be able to come out that day. Well needless to say THEY NEVER CALLED!!!! I am very disappointed if you didn't want my business you should have just said so never have I had a company ignore a request for service. Don't hold your breath waiting for them to come fix something they probably won't call! THANKS FOR NOTHING read more

After calling several plumbing companies, with no call backs and really late scheduling options, we were glad that Rocket Plumbing could schedule us in right away. And we were so impressed with the plumbing service that Tony provided. Tony was a great communicator, friendly and most importantly, completed the job quickly and effectively! We would absolutely call Rocket Plumbing again and would recommend to others. read more

They gave me a call of when they were leaving. He showed up and there wasn't anything to be done. I asked to see if he could tighten some bolts. He told me if he didn't I wouldn't be billed for the hours, so I did it myself. I appreciate the honesty and I wasn't charged since no work was performed. I will be calling them back when I manage to mess it up again. read more

These guys are great. We had a burst water pipe, along with many hundreds of other people, after the January 2014 polar vortex nightmare. I sat around all day waiting on another plumbing company to show up, who never did. I called Rocket late in the evening on a Friday night, and they called us at 7:30 on Saturday morning to fix our burst pipes. They were prompt and considerate, and did a great job. I am grateful to them for coming to our aid so quickly, and for being such professional, great guys. HIghly recommend. read more

2 weeks ago my basement flooded during snow runoff because my sump pump died. While pumping out water manually I called a plumber who came over 2 hours later - told me my sump pump died (thanks - I already knew that) and said he may be able to come back in a few days. Thankfully my wife found out about Rocket Plumbing. Called and Tony was there in 30 minutes on a Friday afternoon - unbelievably responsive and professional! Tony had completed all repairs done in 2 hours. If you ever need a plumber skip all other options and call Rocket immediately - you will not regret it. read more

Shortly after leaving my previous review Rocket contacted me to straighten out my issue. They set something up during an off normal time (at night) that worked for me to come and take a look at my issue. When the plumber showed up, he figured out what the issue was quickly and did a good job of explaining what was going on and why. I appreciate that Rocket didn't just see me as a lost customer but instead did what they could to make me happy and show they do care about their customers. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I went with Rocket Plumbing due to the reviews they received here on Yelp, but my experience was not what is described by others. I needed them to come out and do a simple job for me, take a snake with a camera down my drain line to see if they could find a leak or the cause of the water damaging my floor in the room next to the bathroom. An appointment was set up for Wednesday morning. Tuesday night I got a call saying they didn't have the equipment in their possession at the time and would need to reschedule for Thursday. This seemed fine; they called ahead and were apologetic on the phone. Thursday morning 30 minutes after they were supposed to arrive, I called and found out they never sent someone to my place that morning, they had sent them to a different call. At this point I was getting a little annoyed but again, they were very apologetic and I was told they'd make it up to me, they'd come out this morning and give me a discount for my trouble so I agreed. The next appointment came and again, nobody showed up to my place. I ended up going into work late 2 days in a row for what turned out to be absolutely no reason. Add in the fact the original date couldn't be made due to not having the equipment and you've got a company that does not live up to the inflated reviews shown here. This was just the initial step, I will have to fix the issue that has ruined my floor and I will be going to someone else to do it and my other upcoming plumbing needs. read more

Can I give them 6 stars?? I called the main number and hung up after it never went to a voicemail. A minute later, someone called me back and was very apologetic for missing my call. Within two hours I had someone in my kitchen with the necessary tools and supplies to replace my garbage disposal and kitchen faucet. Marlan was wonderful! Friendly, clean, and helpful. They gave me two options for a chrome faucet that they had in their truck. Unfortunately, the faucet I selected didn't have proper water pressure (faulty model?) and when I called Marlan the next day he offered to come back out the next business day he was available to replace it. The following Tuesday he brought a new brushed nickel faucet that he knew would match my appliances! I hear angels singing every time I use it. Highly recommend. read more

I had a problem last week, a faucet in the basement that ran all the time and had no shut-off valves (directly connected to the hot water heater). Then the trap started to leak as well. I called in the afternoon hoping for someone to come the next day. Less than 3 hours later (on a Friday afternoon) Ben was at my house and fixing the problem. New faucet (he had it with him), shut-offs for hot and cold, and a new trap in less than two hours after starting to fix it. The customer service is outstanding and the plumbing work is great- I won't call anyone else from now on! read more

I had a very simple issue with a leaking faucet. I called another plumber in Chicago who came highly recommended, and they quoted $188 just to visit me. I called Rocket, and spoke to a plumber who explained a very simple fix over the phone that I could do myself. I appreciate their honesty and integrity to not make a cheap buck for a simple problem, and will definitely use them if any larger situations present themselves. read more

These guys helped me out of an emergency jam cleaning up the shoddy work done by "A Plumber Now" (APN). Their price was a fifteen hundred dollars cheaper than APN and done right with new parts. Rocket will be my first call next time I need a plumber. read more

Great experience from start to finish. It was easy to schedule and Sam was great. He fixed our toilet and leaking hot water tap. He was honest about what needed to be done and told us what we didn't need to do. He was personable, knowledgeable, and responsible. We will definitely recommend him and the company to our friends. read more

I'm always a little nervous having work done that I can't do myself because I am fully at the mercy of the repair person. I am so happy I called Rocket Plumbing to fix the stuck cartridge in my leaky bathtub faucet. Sam ran into more trouble than he expected and had to deal with my building's less-than-helpful maintenance guy to shut off the water, but he was very professional, friendly, and did an excellent job. I didn't have any idea how much a job like this should cost, but it seemed very fair for length of time he was here. I hope not to need the services of a plumber again any time soon, but if I do I won't hesitate to call Rocket again. read more

Sam, the plumber, was prompt and professional. He immediately found the problem and resolved it. Awesome!

I called Rocket Plumbing after seeing the great reviews on Yelp. So glad I did! I worked with Marlon and Jack. Marlon came over twice with out charging us to provide guidance on how to handle the leak (had to open the ceiling first) and then to provide an estimate. They provided the guidance that the wax seal on the toilet was leaking and needed to be replaced, but also pointed out a hairline crack in the cast iron sewer return pipe. Not the news I was hoping for, but they gave quotes on just fixing the toilet and switching out the cast iron for pvc. There was no pressure to go with the larger job. Since the ceiling was already open, we decided to do both jobs. We thought the quote was very fair. The job was done very professionally and in a timely manner. Will definitely use them again! read more

These guys saved the day. Mike and Jake came out the evening before Thanksgiving after we had been unable to use any water for 24 hours. As it turned out we had a huge plant growing in our ejector pump that stopped up the entire system. They identified the problem quickly and sorted it out in no time. I am very very thankful! read more

Marlin is the man! I've had him replace a section of pipe in a very difficult area and it was no problem for him. He is efficient with his time without sacrificing quality. They always explain the differences of different products, for example Toilets, pipes, and ejector pumps. They also explain exactly what they are doing so that I know what I am being charged for. Rocket Plumbing has wonderful customer service, too! These guys are my go-to plumbers. And now they are the go-to plumbers for the other people in my building. read more

Arrived early and when a part was needed did everything they could to come back the same day so I would have use of my washer. Great experience! read more

Amazing service! Came the day we called (today) and even arrived early. Fixed our massively clogged bathtub drain. Process was fast, clean, and very fairly priced. He even offered us tips and tricks to keep our drains clog free and healthy. Extremely professional. Responded immediately to my request for quote. Had someone (Sam) available within 30minutes to check out leaky shower. Was afraid problem was with pipes in the walls. It wasn't, he had it assessed, part replaced and problem fixed in an hour tops! Super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Not only did Sam fix my primary problem quick and easy, he also identified an issue with our toilet that he told us how to fix ourselves, and he gave me referral for tile if needed but also told me how to fix ourselves as well. Then he also gave me a quote and recommendation on another job. I'll definitely use these guys again!! Price wasn't the cheapest but I've learned cheap isn't smartest. In the long run, you get what you pay for. I got my $$ worth and I didn't feel like they were outrageously priced at all. Very reasonable price for Chicago. read more

Phenomenal work at a good price. easy to get a quote. Quick turnaround on the repair work needed. nothing but professional.

I LOVE these guys- I just bought a home- first flush...and water on the floor. 30 minutes later- they are at my door, and the tech took time to explain the issue and solution. Professional, quick, clean and pleasant... way above any expectations I could have. I will definitely call them before anyone else in any plumbing emergency!!! So glad I found a new plumber to go with my new home!!!! Finding a great plumber is as difficult - so glad I found a hidden gem! read more

I hired them to fix a broken water heater. The solution turned out to be simple. It just needed a hose to drain some water that was leaking on to the top of it . I expected to still pay quite a bit based on dispatch fees and he was here over an hour figuring out the problem. He only charged me $25!!! Is that unheard of?! AND he offered to come back without a dispatch fee if the problem wasn't resolved. I was more than satisfied and the problem was resolved with his fix. On top of that, he was fifteen minutes early. I will definitely hire them again. read more

II used Rocket for one job and found them definitely pricier than my old plumber, but understood that running a company, as opposed to a single man shop, has its costs. Actually found them on Yelp, mentioned it to scheduler but forgot to mention at invoicing, but I figured, my lapse and planned to use them again. However, the second time I called they were unavailable until two days later, which was the type of situation I was trying to avoid with a larger company. I made the appointment anyway, explaining my problem in detail to the scheduler. When the plumber came out, long story short, we had a failure to communicate, and the price quote more than doubled. I stupidly paid them $75 to not have my problem fixed and then called Rocket to tell them i felt aggrieved, basically for being listened to. The scheduler told me I should talk to the owner, which I did - which was really dismal. I've put in my time at various customer service jobs (so like to think I have some valid perspective on customer service), but there was no attempt to have a conversation, just a lecture on why I was wrong about my expectations. Perhaps it was just a bad day for both of us, but I've been working with tradespeople in 30 years of being a landlord, but never had such an unpleasant encounter. read more
