Really cool shop in downtown Gilbert! Fun and unique candies. Different sweets from around the world.

Gimbals all melted together, gooey and old.

I'M SO BUMMED! I used to love this candy store but recently the candy I've purchased was way over priced and old. I don't mind paying $4.00 for a pack of 10 gumballs, but they were so old that they melted together. The same with our chocolate bars. We ended up throwing it away... If I'm paying way over grocery store prices it should be fresh. I spent almost $100 on my grandkids but super disappointed with the product. Some was uneditable. I love the store so hopefully they will throw out old candy and stand by their products...

Who doesn't love an old school soda shop with all the flavors? My favorite part of Rocket Fizz is the old school candies they have to offer. They closed the location closest to me which is a bummer, but with how expensive everything is in here I don't come often. Service was great. Vibe is your typical candy store.

I parked right by this shop and had a few minutes so decided to pop in. I have been in one of these before but it's been about a decade, and I remember them having fun stuff and they do!! The candy and soda selection here is HUGE. If you're looking for unusual sweets, this is your place! They also have a lot of kitschy retro items that make fun gifts. I'm not a big fan of regular candy but they actually have a nice selection of nice dark chocolates. I've had time to sample my purchases and my favorite is the Hammond Midnight Snack. The associate working Sunday night 10/6 was very pleasant and helpful.

Do you enjoy all things candy? If so, this is your spot! From cute candy gifts, to old-fashion candy, to candy from all the over the world, this is your next go-to! Any type of candy can be found in this store, including drinks and apparel. It's the perfect store for any gift, especially during the holiday season!

This is actually a post for the new location in Old Town! What a great candy store. And the soda cases are awesome as well!! This truly takes "kid in a candy store" saying to the next level!! Old fashioned candy and cute toy gifts as well.

I swear that I have left a review for this place already, but I guess I have it. This place is nostalgia all shoved into a room even if you did not live in the time that is making you feel nostalgic. All rocket fizz is have an over abundance of choices of soda pops. They also have a lot of candy and my favorite part is that they have gag gifts and also very classic. Retro signs to hang up in your home. Like smart ass signs they all have something funny on them. You got a visit this place every time you go to downtown Gilbert. I love bringing my kiddo here.

Blurry photo. Sorry. They had like 4-5 different flavors of big league chew. Rad!

Expensive, but that's understandable. It's a specialty shop. My problem is with the girl working the counter. I'm not sure I've had a worse experience... IN A CANDY SHOP! Dude, isn't that supposed to be the happiest place on earth, sans Disneyland?? Even after I spent over $100 this girl (working at 5:45pm on Wednesday, Dec 14) was a total putz. I want to use swear words right now but I won't. Lazy and lame. Sitting down practically hiding--while coloring in a kids coloring book. Bizarre. I'm posting this because if I owned this business, I would be want to know. It was Xmas, so you still got my money this time. But I'll head elsewhere in the future.

Rocket Fizz is a pretty cool place full of unique sodas and candies of all sorts! My girlfriend and I walked around the shop picking out the sodas we thought were the most interesting. Not only that, we had a few laughs over the names and pictures on some of the soda bottle labels. I would give this place 5 stars if they actually put a price tag on all of its products. Who knew I would end up paying 22$ for a pack of large pocky when I could buy it anywhere else for 15$ or less. I was going to give this store 3 stars but the soda is so worth it. My advice when going in here: focus purely on the sodas. Nothing else if you're going to buy something.

Tried to get some snacks so went across the street to Rocket Fizz. We were in, gathering items and were not greeted nor asked if we needed help as I searched for a "Whatchamacallit" . We were the ONLY customers in the store, once we figured out that the person on the floor was a worker and not a customer too. He didn't acknowledge us and then the lady comes out the back and looks at us but also does not acknowledge. Clearly they don't want us as customers today so I kindly put the items in hand down and we left. No worries, I don't spend my money where I'm clearly not wanted.

Fun store! Lots of great candies and sodas. It was interesting to see all the different kinds. The prices seemed reasonable. A cute place to check out if you are looking for harder to find candy!

For about twelve years, I have made Cerreta's my go-to place to find local candies and chocolates to give as gifts, treats for my wife, co-workers, and me, and an all-around fun experience. Whether it is Glendale's Chocolate Affaire or getting local-made chocolate for any holiday, I've always had fun visiting the store as opposed to just purchasing their chocolates in local grocery stores. When you first walk into the store, you see the individual wrapped chocolates all the way on the left with the boxed and bagged gift sets in the middle aisle of the store, and taffies and other candies on the right side of that. Immediately to the right when you arrive is the factory itself and the entrance to their tour. Similar to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, Cerreta's also provides tours of their chocolate-making process with special treats at the end. This is great for groups, classes, or families and always makes for a fun photo op and a tasty experience. Cerreta's offers candy and nuts, popcorn, barks, brittles, and toffee, taffy, gifts, novelty items, sugar-free items, merchandise, and holiday items, which you can also purchase online. When you arrive, you are typically offered a complimentary chocolate. On each visit, I'll typically get some gifts for out of town friends and family, some chocolates for my wife and I to share, and some to bring into the office. My wife's favorite chocolates are dark and milk chocolate fudge cream, dark orange melt away, milk chocolate raspberry melt away, and milk chocolate mousse. In addition to this, I also like white orange dreams, dark chocolate strawberry cream, milk chocolate vanilla cream, s'mores, and French mint. In fact, it is French mint that Cerreta's is known for. I have a conference next week, and I got a two pound box of French mints as a silent auction item for a charity fundraiser at the conference. You can visit the Cerreta's website at https://cerreta.com. In addition to online purchases, you can learn about locations around the state where you can buy their candies and/or chocolates, how to use the GrubHub delivery service, educational VIP tours and other teacher resources, and details on signing up for their newsletter to get the latest updates on new products and sales.
