I have been a long time customer dating back to the Auto Bath House days. They always did a decent job, and it was generally worth the weight. Since the transition to Rocket, it seems the main priority hasn't been quality of service, but rather pushing as many subscriptions as possible. On my most recent visit, I went for the most expensive service. Not because they do a great job, but because I'm hoping that maybe that visit will be the visit they remember to do all the services I pay for. Sometimes, it's not doing the windows. Other times, it's not vacuuming the backseat. Today, it was doing such a poor job on cleaning my wheels -- and yet when I had to ask them to re-do that, I'm looked at like I was demanding their firstborn child. I realize it's a busy car wash, and I'm not expecting a detail level of service. But if you're charging $36 for a service that used to cost around $20 at the same location under a different name, I think we can be a little more fastidious about the offerings. read more

I recently took my van to Rocket Car Wash, and let me say, it was out of this world! I opted for the basic package, which set me back a mere $10.99. Sure, they did try to upsell me on some overpriced packages, but hey, I don't live near there, so it wasn't really an issue for me. And let's be honest, who doesn't love a good upsell pitch? I mean, it's not like I have anything better to do than listen to a salesperson try to convince me to spend more money on something I don't really need, right? Anyway, back to the car wash. The facility was top-notch, with everything looking sterile and sparkly clean. It was like walking into a spaceship, except instead of aliens, there were detailers on the left side of the exit, vacuuming and drying people's cars. These guys were good... But wait, there's more! As I was about to drive off into the sunset, I noticed that they also had a towel drying service. Naturally, I had to check it out. And was I impressed. The guy working there was like a ninja with a towel, wiping down my van faster than a bad child trying to win over his mother on Mother's Day. I was so impressed that I threw in a $2 tip. I mean, if you can make my car look that good, you deserve a little extra cash, am I right? Now, there is one downside to Rocket Car Wash. They don't have self-serving vacuums. I know, I know, it's a tragedy. But honestly, the rest of the experience was so great that I didn't even care. Plus, it's always nice to have an excuse to buy a new vacuum, right? In conclusion, I would highly recommend Rocket Car Wash to anyone who needs a good scrubbing. The check-in was quick, even with the attempted up-sales (Didn't want the monthly pass at $35 or so a month and the first month half off...lol) by the young lady taking my money. The "medium"deal today, or whatever they called it, came to a little over $26...inside, outside, windows, etc. Add a tip and call it $30. They did a good job with the wash and details, so no complaints. Expensive, in my opinion, but I guess that's pricing strategy for you. Paid $25 for a full wash, interior and exterior. When I asked about the two front rubber floor mats, I was rudely told it would be $5 extra for each mat. I advised I paid for a full detail and I was told a FULL detail does NOT include the rubber floor mats and it would cost $5 more for each rubber floor mat I wanted cleaned. When they were done the only places on the interior they "wiped" off was the dash board. When I inquired about the remainder of the interior I was told by the boss "if I wanted the full interior completely cleaned it would cost me $ 250. You should have read what the list included when I purchased the wash!" I do not recommend this place to anyone. The customer service in itself was horrible! read more

The car wash is a really terrible car wash. I have the full-service exterior car wash, and when my car goes through the car wash, half of the lights never come on, indicating that the lava wash or the spot-free rinse are coming on, so I doubt I received those. The tire shine is terrible and excessive; it gets all over your wheels and sides of your car, and the people drying my car do a terrible job. My windows are never fully dried, and they don't pull out the mirrors, and the back of my car has never dried fully. read more

I have taken my 4Runner to have it washed there 4 years now. I have always complained that they're wash does not clean the hood or the roof, just sprays it off. The assistant manager assured me the reason it does not use the brushes due to the roof rack on the 4Runner. I went there today 10/05/2022 and the wash malfunctioned and the shammy roller at the end came down and broke my roof rack. The manager said that they claim no responsibility for the damage. I insured him it was because of his machine malfunctioning is what caused it. Since they would not take responsibility for the damage they just lost my business on 3 vehicles. For what it would cost him to pay for the repair he would have made it off my vehicles in one month. BEWARE! read more

Normally do this myself but it was cold so decided to go this route. Wash was actually pretty good. The vacuum/interior cleaning was sad. Very sad. Four rather surly teenage girls "vacuumed & cleaned" the interior which seemed to be a basic swipe with the equivalent of a duster over the dash, didn't touch the console or the steering wheel, didn't vacuum along the edge of the floorboard (between the seat and the door jam), sort of vacuumed the seats. The windshield was "cleaned" inside, sort of. It was streaky with missed swaths. Cost? $32. So not worth even half that. I wish I had complained at the time and taken before and after pictures....but I genuinely didn't expect it to be as lame as it was. read more

I started going to Rocket in Monroeville Pa. about 4 1/2 years ago, and thought that they did a fantastic job. I paid $37.88 monthly for the unlimited wash. Now after 5 years the signs of wear are showing. I visited Rocket on Friday 1/26 to find it shut down for repairs for over 4 hours. Returned Saturday 1/27 for a wash. At that time, I noticed that the 2nd verticle brush on the passenger side was not contacting my vehicle. I told a female attendant who aknowledged. My next trip back was on Friday 2/1. As going through the wash, I noticed once again that the brush was still not functioning properly. When I got through, and was wiping down my vehicle with an attendant, I found my passenger side mirror shattered. The attendant notified Assistant Manger Travis who came out with a tablet, took many pictures and my contact information. He assured me that I would be contacted within 24 - 48 hours. He also told me that a part needed welded on that 2nd brush that was not functioning properly. Now, the problem. Management has ghosted me! My mirror had to be replaced since it affected my right turn signal, that cost was $578.80! I paid for this repair, and returned to Rocket Sunday 2/4. I met with Travis again that morning that once again assured me that I would hear from them within 24 -48 hours. I did notice the manager's car, ( Jorge ), present at that time. Now, Saturday 2/10, no contact. I am now on my way back up there to see if I can resolve this in a gentlemanly like fashion, if not, I will request the Police today, follow up with the BBB, and local District Justice on Monday. I wrefuse to roll over for these people after spending over $2000.00 in the last 4 1/2 years, not including the minimum of a $5.00 tip with each visit. Wish me luck, but I will give up. read more
