I have used ModWash on William Penn Highway in Wilkins several times a week since I got my new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have always been impressed with how fast the line goes and the overall quality of the wash. I like having towels to finish drying the car and getting the windows done. But the best part about this location is the staff. I was recently helped by Seth when I needed to change the license plate number due to receiving the permanent plate. He went out of his way to be helpful and quick despite having to deal with a rude and impatient customer at the same time. I really appreciate the professionalism this young man displayed. Looking forward to keeping my ride shined up at ModWash in Wilkins all summer!! If you haven't signed up for unlimited washes yet, just do yourself a favor and do it! Money well spent. read more

By no means am I car wash type of guy... you know... the people that buy a subscription and go get a weekly wash... but after a salty couple weeks, ITS TIME. We were down on this side of town and had some time to burn, so... enter ModWash. The biggest reason for my low stars is the corporate decision to have a human at the kiosk. Why spend so much money on a UI and self-service kiosk... to have a worker waste my time and theirs to push the buttons for me AND to tap my credit card for me. I mean... I guess you get your free ModWash air freshener from them... but like... cmon... what a weird concept. The washes are also overpriced but that is just a ploy to have you signup for their monthly/yearly subscriptions. Wash did the job. Dryers dried. Car is clean. read more

how i was treated at the modwash in monroville on william penn highway was truly sickening , and the employee anthony who i have seen many other reviews about was a power hungry jerk, if i was the owner of this wash i was fire him immediately, paid for 30 dollar wash and after he rejected my truck from going with a 40 pound trailer hitch in my bed and made , 5 cars behind me back out , and proceeded to talk to me like i was incompetent , i was very firm with him and told him he needs to learn how to talk to people , so he put me through as a basic wash . this wash is awful and lost a lot of customer base after this , for a work for a large company that USED to use this wash , now that's no more . truly a sad man that employee read more

I have been to mod wash many times but the most recent this week left me very disappointed. I paid $11 to come out of the car wash with soap on the sides and back of the car. I then pulled into a spot to vacuum my car and the vacuums on both sides of my car were barely working. Hardly any pressure. My prior experiences have all been good but this one left me wanting to just try a different car wash on the street. read more

SCAM PLEASE BEWARE- They signed me up for a membership when all I wanted was a single wash. They continued to charge me for a membership even thought I never signed up for one. They would not refund me for the membership I did not sign up for. Will be reporting this to the better business bureau and disputing on my credit card. Scam/Fraud alert! Please be very careful at this location! If you google this issue, it is a VERY common complaint/SCAM! We had our car washed one time, and were signed up for a monthly membership without consent - Our card was charged $32.09 inconspicuously with no mention of Modwash on the charge. It took us a long time to figure it out, and the business is completely unwilling to provide any solutions or customer service at all - no refund, free car washes in the future, or even a response to our many calls/emails! Was told today that there was no record of my cancellation or the phone calls I made to ensure cancellation and that I could not get a refund since there was no record even though the local wash shows I have not used the facility since July. I was their third membership sold. this place is borderline awful. such deterioration. mat washer never turned on,rags available sometimes, I have the premium package and the tires still had mud on them and wern't shined. the back of the car was still dirty and none of it was dried. Service was kind of mean lol I'd never been to this particular wash place before, and the belt I was supposed to drive on to was different than what I've seen previously. Staff member was really impatient and rude with how he directed me. I moved it up from 1 star to 2 stars because I think they lowkey realized how bad my experience was and tried to be extra helpful later when I was vacuuming...but meh, there are a several other car washes in town that I'll probably go to instead. As for the wash - it was also kind of meh. I've gotten cleaner results elsewhere, and two of the vacuums I tried were clogged! read more

I would not recommend anyone do business with ModWash. We had been getting our car washed there for over a year, and realized that we were being overcharged. When we signed up, we were told that we would only be charged $16 a month for life as a promotional offer that they were doing. However, we noticed that we were being charged almost $20 a month, and for only the barebones wash. When we contact their customer service, they refused to work with us and only offered us a $1 discount monty, which is still $2 more than what we should have been paying to begin with. When we requested to speak with a manager, we were denied and basically told there was nothing they could do. When we told them we would be cancelling, the customer service rep acted like he couldn't care less. We will be finding another subscription based car wash that actually cares about its customers. Love this ModWash!!! Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I left a floor mat one day and I didn't notice it for a few days and when I went back they saved it. Vacuums have great suction and they keep stocked up with windshield cleaner and interior cleaners and clean microfiber rags. They also have an air gun to get in all the nooks and crannies. The worse car wash ever! I paid $17 dollars and my car came out of the car wash dirty. It's like the brushes are barely touching the car or the tires. I asked for my money back. I guess Modwash is cool, mostly because it's a newly built establishment. It sits where the old Allegheny Valley Bank was. I usually prefer to handwash my car, but decided to try this place out after getting my new Honda. I don't think I would've brought my beloved Subaru here, because I would have worried about paint scratches like the older drive-thru car wash brushes would sometimes cause. This facility seems to have thin spinning cloths that clean your car. The wash is quick, in and out in about 1min or so. The price for 1 wash is kinda expensive, so it's definitely a bargain to purchase an unlimited monthly package if that suits your needs. I don't like that the brushes push my folding side view mirrors to the front, but then only knocks back the driver's side. The coolest part of the wash to me is that it hooks you up with some tire wet at the end and it's usually spot-on and looks great. There are lots of free vacuum spaces to use before or after washing. You can always find lots of friendly staff walking around the grounds if you should need them. I'm on my 3rd month of unlimited washes and pretty satisfied overall! read more

Be careful, this place will DESTROY your rims! Mine are so scratched up. I got a membership a few days after I got my vehicle. I noticed the scratches a few days after my first wash. Wasn't a big deal, thought maybe I just didn't notice them when I bought the vehicle. The next week I went, more scratches that were more noticeable. I know for a fact that it's from the carwash, because I don't park near sidewalks often, and when I do, I make sure not to park too close. A lot of times it seems they don't use soap. They do allow you to go back thru if your car is not clean, which I have done twice before. Some of the vacuums don't work very well. The staff is ALWAYS pleasant! read more

Brush that washes hood, roof and trunk is broken. I have the $20.00 a month payment. My car is a mess. I've called called called and called and no response as when it will get fixed. Could be 5 stars easily. i know paint and paint correction pretty well. If your car is dirty and it does not receive the proper prep... all those brushes are going to cause micro swirls and scratches all over your clear coat. They used to pre rinse your vehicle with high pressure water.... Now they dont. So all the dirt and grime on your vehicle gets pushed and scraped across the surface of your vehicles clear coat. They no longer provide this service, while other places do. As a result, the 3 star review. Honestly, it could easily be 2. A full 1-2 stage paint correction is not worth the lazy way out. read more

Came here for the first time and was really disappointed with the wash. Windows were visibly dirty and the doors had streaks, so I went and asked for the manager. Found out they were OUT of soap and couldn't 'disclose' it to customers coming through. Customer service was so rude, they did refund me. Will never be back. No soap!! read more
