I have been a long time customer dating back to the Auto Bath House days. They always did a decent…read morejob, and it was generally worth the weight. Since the transition to Rocket, it seems the main priority hasn't been quality of service, but rather pushing as many subscriptions as possible. On my most recent visit, I went for the most expensive service. Not because they do a great job, but because I'm hoping that maybe that visit will be the visit they remember to do all the services I pay for. Sometimes, it's not doing the windows. Other times, it's not vacuuming the backseat. Today, it was doing such a poor job on cleaning my wheels -- and yet when I had to ask them to re-do that, I'm looked at like I was demanding their firstborn child. I realize it's a busy car wash, and I'm not expecting a detail level of service. But if you're charging $36 for a service that used to cost around $20 at the same location under a different name, I think we can be a little more fastidious about the offerings.

The staff is friendly…read moreand the place is generally pretty clean and well kept, but if you order MTO food, expect a wait. Even if you have pre ordered in the app. On one visit, it took almost 20 minutes in the drive through even though their was only one car in front of me and it did not seem like they were that busy inside. Another time, I ordered and paid in the app. I chose "asap" and 15 minutes later my items were still not ready. Another time all I ordered was a hot dog with basic toppings (ketchup, mustard and relish). I was the only car in the line and it still took almost ten minutes. Overall, I really like Sheetz, the quality of the food and overall friendliness of the staff, but this location seems to need help organizing their MTO process.

We were down on this side of town and had some time to burn, so... enter ModWash. The biggest reason for my low stars is the corporate decision to have a human at the kiosk. I guess you get your free ModWash air freshener from them... but like... cmon... what a weird concept. The machine was broke before using it. Then they would not honor a return/exchange so we had to pay to fix it. The second time the machine broke I myself called them and was told they would accept the return but I needed to have it serviced first. We then went through the whole process(email manufacture) to take it in for repair, and upon receiving it back the extractor was doing the same issue! I demanded a full refund and was given the run around. I now am fighting for a full refund with Citibank, I have the BBB involved, and my next course of action will be my attorney. Detail now has the water extractor in their possession, they sent me a label to return it, delivered to them 3/27/23, and yet they still have not returned my $1529.52. I now am paying for a broken piece of junk that was returned to the merchant with the label provided by the company. SO WHERE IS MY REFUND?!!
