Breakfast burrito with bacon, no cheese
    Zach K.

Solid breakfast burrito, well layered, and a good size. Love the bell pepper onion mix and grilled tortilla. Best of all it's open at 7:30am(when you actually NEED a breakfast burrito). Great location right at the front of The Heist.

We were super impressed with the breakfast we ate here. 1+1: The pancakes were eggy, fluffy, and spongy. They were sweet but not overbearing - great balance! - Nutella Stuffed: Loved the sweetened condensed milk in place of syrup. Great take on a traditional pancake. - Lemon Ricotta: Melted in the mouth. Spongier than the Nutella pancake. The lemon flavor came from the syrup. Bacon, Egg, + Cheese Sando: Very well seasoned. The eggs were fluffy, and the bread was buttery. The components of the sandwich were perfectly balanced.

So my gym is right next door and I've been coming to the Rose City Food Park for quite some time. Rocket Breakfast is one of the newer carts that has made its way over here. Carts come and go and I'm hoping this one will be here for awhile. I have eaten breakfast a handful of times here at Rocket Breakfast. Breakfast wraps, open faced breakfast sando, French toast roll-ups. I'm slowly making my way around the menu. There has not been one bad item thus far. It's kind of nice to finish my workout in the morning and just ramble over next door for a beverage from J. Vein Caffe (another cart) and a nice hearty breakfast wrap filled with eggs, bacon and cheese, plus jalapeños. It makes the morning that much better and their prices are right. And by pretty much all the other reviews, I'm certainly not wrong in this assessment. These guys know what they are doing and it's a great little spot up on Sandy to come visit in the AM. Enjoy. Egg and Cheese Quesadilla

Love this place. The breakfast burrito and quesadilla was so good. I got sausage and black bean burrito with hot sauce. And bacon quesadilla with black beans. I like that they open right when I'm getting off from work so I can grab something on the way home on the days when I feel like it. The staff is friendly and pretty quick. I just do wish they get better online ordering system. I ordered sausage burrito with black beans but they just made a black bean burrito. I think cause in person sausage and beans would be two separate add ons but in the website they make it seem like the burrito is sausage so I thought I just had to add on the beans. This was my third time going here and that was the first time I had a problem and also didn't like the burrito idk if it was the lack of sausage or what but the burrito was too wet and not as flavorful as first time I had a burrito from there. Overall I do love this place.

Cool little spot surrounded by other food trucks. It was really slow when we went so the wait was only about 10 minutes. I was really excited to try this place as I'm especially fond of food trucks. I was a little disappointed when we got here and saw how limited the menu is. Nothing really jumped out at me but I decided to try the breakfast wrap. My partner ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes. The pancakes were decent enough and the lemon sauce on the side was good but underwhelming. The wrap seemed to lack any seasoning at all. The ingredients were good and it was a decent size but it didn't have any real flavor. Even with the local hot sauce it was just okay. Not bad- just okay. A few simple tweaks in their recipes and I think there's a lot of potential. Not something I would go out of my way to eat again.

We just stopped in for lunch when driving through to our destination. There are quite a few trucks at this spot, but only a few were open today (Sunday). I chose the combo plate, lemon ricotta pancakes with eggs and bacon. The hubby opted for a breakfast burrito with bacon. The service was friendly, decently swift since they seemed busy. I looove lemon, but for me the ricotta topping was just too sweet. It was tasty, don't get me wrong, but for this gal dipping my cakes in it tasted more like a very sweet cupcake instead of pancakes. We ran back over to get some maple syrup instead. The eggs were good, although very thin and lacking a bit of flavor. The bacon was cooked to perfection. My husband enjoyed his burrito, fairly average in flavor and size. Overall the food was good, certainly cooked well, an average meal for us.

Was the only food cart open when we stopped by and we all got something. Service was quick and friendly. Breakfast sandwich was delish - bacon, egg, cheese on toasted bread. Filling and more than enough. Burrito - good sized, fresh ingredients. Roll up - convenient breakfast food! Maple bacon rolled inside flattened bread and fried, sprinkled with powdered sugar Stop on by!

    Case Idea. LOL!!

All the good things. In the morning at this food pod usually the coffee place is open and this breakfast truck. You see where I'm going with this? That's right. Not too many germy people hanging around to deal with. We had the breakfast quesadilla (fun fact - talk to text made that "case idea"), and the lemon ricotta pancakes. Both were great. When I am at home I can eat an entire jar of lemon curd with a spoon. I am delighted to discover that a thin ribbon of lemon curd on a pancake is just as good. Also at home I prefer tap a too hot sauce. Hahahahah, make that Tapatio hot sauce. Oh, computer brain yer killing me. They had Louisiana hot sauce on the case idea. Screw it, I'm just gonna call it a case idea from now on. That hot sauce would not have been my first choice, but it was really good and I enjoyed it. I will happily recommend both these dishes. Service was friendly, Covid precautions are in place, and I felt just fine being out in a public place. Side note, looked like a lot of locals call it in, then walk over and pick it up to go. Good idea!

Pretty basic but also affordable. Good for a quick breakfast. The peach habanero sauce was really nice, solid lil kick to it.

The chicken liver mousse was a good consistency, paired with the figs gave a nice balance between sweet and savory. The steak frites was a classic, steak was a good portion and cooked medium rare, but I'm sure if you wanted it more cooked through, you could make that request. The fries were definitely a standout, great texture and the garlic flavor gave a good contrast to the steak. My favorite dish was the dessert, the flaky crust gave a nice texture to the cream insides. I'm a huge passionfruit fan, so once I saw it was on the menu, I knew I had to try it. It didn't disappoint and I would definitely come back just for this dish alone. Overall a solid experience and would recommend people to try Canard out at least once!

Vibe wise, the ambience is overall really nice. I think having rolled flatware, even with just upgraded napkins, would better complete the aesthetic you initially see and feel. This would also connect with the price point of the food and quality of the beverages. As a fellow server, on that note I would expect more consistent stronger visual appearance standards with servers. (Sorry guys! But some of you looked great!) Overall, I'd definitely join a friend for coffee and lunch over there in the future. Just wouldn't be my top pick for a celebratory brunch or intimate dinner with a date or friends and fam.
