Building a new home is a nightmare!!! Trying to find Companies that have excellent customer…read moreservices is extremely rare. Most companies I have dealt with have no follow thru, I was the one constantly calling them for updates. After I found a stone slab I went to Absolute for fabrication. I was greeted by Sara with a smile and interest in my project. She went above and beyond to help me with all aspects of my project even calling me after hours and weekends with updates. Also the owner Sander called me personally to assist with my delivery. To Sander, Sara and all the staff at Absolute, YOU ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!!! Thank you Debra Ross

Back I went to Absolute because everywhere else in the area for direct to consumer remnants just…read moresucks. Their prices are good for remnants and the responsiveness is excellent. Not to say I haven't had a few issues each time, however. The first major problem was documented in review 1. I made sure that I was CLEAR this time in the sink mounting. For reference, this piece of black honed granite for a a vanity console top, fabricated from a remnant for pickup (no install or measurement) is $750. Mitered edges are labor intensive and I get that. I was good with the price. My only issue is that one side is slightly longer than the other such that it doesn't sit flat on the console base. The measuring tape and level finally answered this for me. That said, I've gone months without a sink so I'm making this work and it's gorgeous.

They did not end up even having the granite that I needed, which is totally fine and I am not even…read moreat all upset about that. The problem was that both the phone call to the woman that mans the front desk as well as the in-person visit (with the phone answering lady) to Arch City was absolutely horrible! The manner in which I was spoken to, on both occasions, was rude and demeaning. At their office, she was very unclear with the point she was trying to get across as I showed her my drawings and measurements so it was very confusing to try and figure out what exactly she was saying and when I expressed that, she just told me that I was actually confusing her! Nice gaslighting. The rude attitude began right after I filled out the sheet with all my information and I didn't mark any of the cut out items because I didn't need any cut out items and she said well your kitchen must have a sink. I said yes my kitchen has a sink and as she's circling "sink" I'm saying but I don't need a sink cut out. It's an island. It won't have a sink. So like she was trying to insinuate that I don't know what I need in my own kitchen because certainly my kitchen must have a sink. Maybe if she would've let me finish speaking she would've learned that I don't need a sink cut out because my island does not contain a sink! Her general tone of voice was absolutely horrible. After we went round and round trying to clear up the "confusion," with her repeating the same statement over and over several times, as if I was an idiot, I finally just picked up my keys and said I would just get my granite elsewhere, and I left. I stayed calm and polite the entire time. I do not appreciate people talking down to me as if I'm stupid and don't know what I'm talking about. If she had been a bit more clear in the whole first place about A. We don't carry that color AND it is literally impossible for us to even get that color, then I would have not lost 10 minutes of my life that I can never get back. She made it sound like they didn't have a remnant, but if I ordered a whole slab, then they could make it work. It was obvious by my questions and responses that SHE was not being clear, which she should have picked up on as the salesperson, but instead she just kept telling me I was confusing her and she couldn't help me because she didn't understand what I wanted. She kept saying (3 times!) "I can't give you a bid if I don't know what material you want."How about using the word "color" instead of material. Materials are granite, marble, cement, etc... This is NOT my first time ordering granite and I walked in with exact drawings/measurements/etc... I am not stupid, but she pretty much implied that I was by the way she spoke to me. Never ever will I recommend Arch City and they should really hire someone who is able to not only communicate better, not talk down to customers and someone who is able to figure out how to help a customer figure out what they're not understanding instead of telling the customer that they are the ones being confusing. That is NOT a way to run a business and she should not be the first impression/person at the front/voice on the phone for your company!
