Jeremy reassured me he would work with the insurance company for a reinspection then stopped responding to messages. He reappeared at my door months later--unannounced. He explained that he was working for himself and would love to move forward. His explanation for disappearing was 1) a diabetes diagnosis and 2) he was no longer with the company due to unethical business practices. I told Jeremy I would let him know if I wanted to do business. He continued texting me to replace my roof after I made it clear I was not interested. I thought I finally got rid of him, until he showed up at my house--unannounced AGAIN, now working with this company.

We experienced continued leakage in our home for the third time! I called them on July 13th to informed them that we are getting water leakage in the same area for the third time. I called back on July 20th to confirm our appointment Monday morning and to let them know that I noticed the guttering on the back of the house is dropping. They came to repair the roof area and took pictures of the gutter. They told my husband that there is water inside the gutter and they cannot remove the water because it's too heavy which didn't make sense! They were suppose to call us back but no response from them to address this issue to this day. I continue to reach out to them numerous times which is dated and time stamped on my phone. My guttering is falling apart and ready to cause additional damage to my home! Zero response from them is poor customer service! I can't understand that they are rated a 5 star and an A+ accredited on the BBB site! i found out from the BBB that you can only file a complaint and not give them a negative review at the same time. BBB did accept my complaint today to be valid. I hope that everyone should go on their website and read the complaints section. They will continue to drag the issues until someone acknowledges wrong doing!

Now the j-channel and siding along several roof-to-wall intersections are significantly warping, buckling, and pulling away from the house. It's doing this on the front and back slopes of my home where the j-channel meets the shingles (see the additional photos I posted). My original review documents all the problems I had working with Stonebridge over the 7-months it took them to finish my project. Three months after the finish date, I'm now having more issues from the work they did. If you want your roof/siding job to go smoothly, be managed properly, and be installed correctly the first time, I highly recommend you look to another company. Although I appreciate Stonebridge standing behind their work, I do not recommend using them due to the poor installation and project management issues I've experienced working with them.

Since the type of window has long been discontinued, I couldn't find anyone in the St. Louis area willing to fix it without a total window replacement. J & J not only offered to take a look but was able to reassemble the sash with a a new piece of glass! They saved me from a bind for sure! Issues: The seal was not applied properly and a lot of water leaked in the basement after we had a hard rain. J&J did assess the damage and paid for damages through their insurance. The lock on the handle also did not work but J&J did finally fix it. The second door we purchased - Therma Tru Fiber Classic Mahogany was for the front door. It was sold to us from J&J Windows with the intention that not much maintenance would be needed because it's fiberglass and not wood AND it had a 5-year warranty. This product has been ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE and J&J has NOT stood behind the product they sell. We have had issues with this door and door frame less than 1 year after it was installed. We notified them as soon as we noticed the issues and at that time, paint was peeling around the door frame and the door was already starting to fade. No way should it have faded this quickly. They sent a painter out MANY times to try and fix the door frame and it still looks terrible and paint is still peeling. They SAID they re-stained the door for us but they NEVER did and after checking their records again they discovered they never did re-stain the door. The picture of the house is what the door looked like 1 month after it was installed, which was very nice. The other images are after 1-2 years after it was installed.... TERRIBLE!!! We spent thousands of dollars ($$$$) and now J&J Window Sales (or even Therma Tru) are not willing to fix the door frame or the door! Their final email/comment to us was that they were sending us a door stain kit so we could do it ourselves or have someone do it for us, and they made it sound like they were doing us a favor because the kit usually costs $140. SERIOUSLY??? Do you think this is good customer service??? I am embarrassed that our front door looks so awful. The least J&J Window could have done was send someone over to re-stain the door and at least do something to fix the frame. They just gave up! We have been extremely patient through this process over the years. They said the door must receive a lot of sun.... No kidding... It's a front door!!!! THIS IS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMERS! We will NEVER refer ANYONE to this company!

Spend your hard earned money on a better staff that communicates and schedules at a professional level. TLDR: Because of scheduling negligence and poor communication, my project for a deck and patio cover was 3 times delayed and downgraded to just a deck because of administrative issues. Ultimately it was completed almost 3 months after the initial estimate. Our 12x20 deck ended up being $28,000. I put the initial deposit down in mid April for a deck (12x20) and screened in patio cover attaching to my house. It was an expensive project (~$41,000) that we were excited to have done. They estimated completion of the entire project by mid June. After the deposit we heard nothing from them until late May for a quick measurement on our property to verify the drawings. We expected the construction timeline to be very similar to the initial estimate. We heard nothing for weeks. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I reached out at the end of the month for an update. My PM stated they were a few weeks behind-- frustrating that the information wasn't shared, but understandable given the rainy spring. Fast forward a few weeks and yet again I was given the run around. I had many unanswered texts and phone calls. It was the end of July when I finally heard back from them. Turns out the project manager assigned to me dropped the ball. The permits for the initial deck and patio cover were approved, but allowed to expire. On resubmission it was found to be a violation of city ordinance so the patio cover had to be removed from the project. The 3rd round of permitting finally got approved. At this point I was very frustrated with the 1.5 month delay and ready to cancel. They whipped up a new contract quickly and I returned it quickly. Somehow things were still delayed. Finally they began on August 27th. The crew was FANTASTIC. They worked incredibly hard and had it up in 3 work days. I cannot praise them enough, their product was great. They are the only reason this experience was 2 stars instead of 1. At the end of the project I aired my grievances and was told they could not offer any discount despite the issues. I didn't even get an apology until I asked for some sort of reparation. Ultimately there are too many other decking companies that would be easier to work with that I would not recommend working with this one.
