He gave me a long winded answer that included the fact that he had to rent a ladder for the job. Mind you he is a contractor. Are you kidding me? To make matters worse the work that they did at my townhome doesn't even work. And now I can't get ahold of them. They won't call me back. He is a total joke. Stay away from this person. They are reliable, they did everything they said they would do in a first class manner. Remodeling a bathroom may not seem like big job, but they treated our house as if it was their own. I asked for three ceiling fans to be installed in two bedrooms and a living room and they were installed in two bedrooms and the dinning room where they removed a chandelier that I havent seen since. Was told they still have it but i didnt recieve it. I also asked for smoke detectors be installed that wasnt, I asked for two lights to be installed in the front and back of the house and the lights dont work and when I asked why didnt they check them they said they didnt have any light bulbs. I also hired them to install a carpet in which I was told multiple times it would be completed and it never got completed and the last day I waited for the installer three hours because he was to show that afternoon and I got a text that something came up at 5pm. Lastly I cut my losses and asked for my money back for work not performed and was told it was sent but l cant find the money. My "three week" project to install a sink, vanity and new cabinet door turned into a three and a…read morehalf month project! I do not recommend this company. Their lack of communications is unbelievable! Messages are NEVER returned in a timely manner, sometimes never returned! They messed up my walls, which thankfully I had more product so I could fix them. They broke the trim on my door and pushed it together and left it like that, so the wood is cracked! Who does that and just leaves it? The first time they installed the doors, they put them into the door jamb, so you could not open the doors all of the way! It took four days to install a vanity, a vanity top and change two cabinet doors. I have a six car driveway, they parked on the edge of driveway and put ruts in my yard! Save yourself some heartache and frustration and stay away from this company.

Overall, we are satisfied with our master bath remodel done by KML Remodeling, but it took twice as…read morelong as it should have because of incorrect materials delivered and inadequate project management. We had to make concessions on things that were wrongly ordered and there were a few plumbing mistakes which required rework, causing the project to take twice as long as it should have. The carpentry work was exceptional, though, with attention to detail and solid workmanship, resulting in an overall successful project. But, the general supervision and communication from the project manager were dreadful and caused a very stressful experience. As other reviewers have said, messages were rarely responded to and it required me to frequently follow up just to know what was going on with the project, and who and when someone was coming. When the project manager did show up on site, which was rare, he just walked in and went straight to the subcontractor, without barely a hello to us. It's really a shame because a well done job should not be so exhausting and frustrating for the customer. As long as they use the same carpenter, I would recommend them, but I suggest making it very clear at contract signing what you expect and lay out clear rules of engagement and communication expectations. I'm updating my review rating from a 3 to a 4 because the owner, Karen, sincerely listened to our concerns and we feel that she will make the necessary adjustments so that future customers have a more pleasant experience. As previously noted, the workmanship of the main construction components are top notch and had the project manager not made the job so painful, we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

After meeting the crew that came out on day one, we knew we made the right choice. We also could tell that everyone on the crew enjoyed their job and the company they worked for. The entire process was very smooth from start to finish and everyone who showed up to do the work were very kind and professional. We were kept informed with what work would be done each day and they stuck to the schedule as promised. David Neu originally came out and listened to what we wanted, added a few great suggestions, put together and sent us a very detailed drawing of what the finished project would look like. He also explained the entire process from start to finish. He made us feel comfortable with having Meyer as our contractor. He was very kind and sociable and had a great sense of humor. Our project was completed as promised with only a few very minor touch-up items at the end which they promptly took care of. We were amazed with how clean they kept everything with so much construction going on. They take pride in their work and made sure we were completely satisfied with everything. The office staff (Rachael and Sara) were very kind and helpful with all of our question when we called. Overall, we are completely satisfied, and we would highly recommend Meyer to anyone looking for a home restoration project. Jesse and Pixie H.
