First of all, their communication is so easy and quick. I texted with them through the whole process, and they were SO helpful. Second, their timing. They do quotes with aerial view, so you get the quote SO quick, and then on their calendar almost just as quick! Between reaching out and the job being complete, it was like a week. I was amazed. Their prices were spot on, and actually a slightly better deal for the quality, than most of the other companies I was working with. Lastly, they didn't require a deposit, which isn't a deal breaker for me BUT a lot of other companies requires 50% down just to schedule and it felt so sketchy. I'm not sure why they're not rated the best company in the area, my experience with them was flawless. 10000000% recommend.

I recevied an estimate of the work by text and Kevin verified that he could get all of the parts before he gave me the bid. We had a family function and needed the broken window repair to make sure it was safe for the children. Kevin made a special trip to repair the window before our event. It's September of 2023 and we have not seen a window...we paid him another 25% after the last door was installed with the promise that the touch ups to the doors would be completed and that he would drill the door bell holes that he forgot to do the first time he was here...and that our windows were 'on the way'. Nothing. Nada. Zilch Now he suddenly falls off the face of the Earth. He was terrible at responding prior to this, now he is non existent. There was ALWAYS an excuse...he was sick, his truck broke, the wrong door came in, his guys didn't show up - or better yet, he took TWO vacations while we waited for installs. I wouldn't even bother complaining, except my doors have 'lifetime workmanship warranties' and there is no paperwork for our doors, so if something goes south - we have nobody to contact to fix it from the 'company' who installed it. Here is the deal. He is by himself. There is no 'team'. The reviews online that are good are likely from his friends and family. Do business with Patrick at your own risk. Had Ryan at Family 1st Contracting in O'Fallon Mo. do a complete remodel of two 2nd floor bathrooms…read morefor us in the spring of 2021 and paid them more than $24,000 for labor alone to do the work. They were professional during the bidding process. But once work began we did not see Ryan much, had to threaten him to get him to come by and check on his crew and their shoddy work. They put down paper runners on the floors to keep from ruining our hardwoods, but only after we reminded them too many times. They also left a mess to clean up after, which Katie promised she would be coming back to do and never did. Here we are 3 years later and we're having to pay someone to replace the floor in both because it's so uneven the toilets started leaking. Also, he talked us into having them pour the shower pan instead of buying a prefab and it's also leaking. Because they didn't caulk or put enough slant in it to make the water run towards the drain to drain properly. Please be aware and more diligent than we were in checking closely behind them. Don't think just because they pull permits and have inspections done means the work is done properly. We realize now St. Louis County Inspectors obviously don't care if it's poor workmanship either, they only care if you have interconnected smokes in your house. Which also had to be installed before they would sign off and pass inspection.

Laminate counter-tops didn't get trim on the cut edges, cabinets didn't get the foot kicks covered. The owner seems very narcissistic as well because at one point I asked him if he obtained the permits (which usually the responsibility of the contractor and in this case was because it was in our contract) and he retorted it was my responsibility. I showed him the contract and he said that he did get the permits. Thinking he was lying to me, I called the city and found there were no permits issued. I confronted him and asked him to stop work until he got the permits. After that it was a no show from him and his crew, no responses via e-mail, calls, or texts. The floor, sink and back splash were started, but were never completed. I had to get someone else to finish the job...correctly. I have read some good reviews for this business but it seems like he is hit or miss on if he'll get the job done. Even if for you he is a hit and does the job right, I hope he got a permit otherwise if the city finds out they'll fine you big at the very least and at worst, make you tear it out. Good luck to anyone choosing this business.

We were very hopeful when we contracted with Pat to do a very tricky window replacement job…read more Polite, on-time, thorough and generally very professional. The job, however, required some cutting which resulted in 25-30 faux stones (on the exterior wall) coming loose from the exterior wall...which also required some additional caulking around the new frames. Because of the unexpected extra work, I paid $300 more, in cash, up-front on Pat's word he would complete the job soon. We waited, and waited, and waited. Promises to return and complete the job were made and not kept. Finally, he told me by text message that he was not qualified to replace the stones and that we would need to get a real masonry person. But he did promise he would finish the caulking. We're still waiting 2+ weeks on and he has kept the extra money and will not reply to my requests to at least finish the caulking...even informing him to forget about repaying the extra money - just finish the caulking! We really liked the other work he did...but clearly he cannot be trusted to complete a job and even lie to protect money he owes a client. We give him two stars max.
