I always stop at Rocky n Roll sushi prior to my hair appointments. Usually I have 20 minutes or so to get an appetizer and a glass of vino before hair at Fringe a few doors down. The bartender/server was attentive, friendly and kind. My TNT shrimp appetizer I ordered with all sauces on the side came out quickly with all sauces on the shrimp. Had I had the time, I would have sent it back, but I didn't. The shrimp were cooked well and the sauces weren't a deal breaker. The music videos are always fun and remind me of hours spend watching MTV videos back in the day. The restrooms were clean with a changing table avilable to Mothers who needs it in the ladies room. Great friendly fast service! Jennifer was attentive and nice the entire time. I sat at the bar and ordered the veggie hibachi and the thriller roll. The veggie hibachi was served with miso soup and fried rice. I wish I knew it was cooked in some type of sauce because I wasn't fan of the sauce. The miso soup tasted like any miso I've had before. I took the Jennifer's suggestion and got the thriller roll made with krab meat instead of crawfish. The roll was larger than I expected and full of flavor. Easily, the worst sushi experience EVER. I ordered sushi to go. The rice/fish ratio was overwhelmed by rice. The fish itself was bland, and almost tasteless. I got tuna and salmon sushi. Went for the first time and had a good experience. I like sushi, but am a novice and have little knowledge of what to order. I picked two items "Punk Rock and Roll" and "Crowd Surfer" and asked server if they were good. She pointed out that they are fan favorites and I should enjoy them. She was very kind and great to work with. I missed her name but she wears glasses and has dark hair. I included the menu pics but the food looked wonderful and had a great taste. Overall my first experience at Rock and Roll Sushi was wonderful. Gross! Brought me a salad that had old, mushy brown lettuce . I asked for another and it was the same way. The waitress told me all of the lettuce was like that because it was bagged together. So we have visited Rock N Roll from the very first week that it's opened. And it was fantastic! We love it! We continued to visit every few weeks and, especially the past few months, have noticed a decline in the restaurant as a whole. The service has been spotty and slow. At one point, we actually waited just over an hour as others were seated before us. They had just forgotten about us, even after reminding the hostess several times. On another occasion, I paid with a card, and received someone elses card card in return. I suppose it's a good thing I'm honest and brought it to attention of our server immediately. Most recently, my wife ordered take out and waited the 15-20 minutes for prep. When she arrived, she ended up waiting another 15 minutes and when she got home, the ginger was all over the sushi. The food has always been good and we love the atmosphere, but their never seems to be the same servers and it's just gone downhill. I won't say we'll never return, but it will be awhile for sure. read more

Went here for the first time and sat at the bar. The bartender, Mariah did not acknowledge us and it took her 10 minutes to take our drink order. I had to flag her down to order a second drink and even then, she was too busy talking to her friends at the bar, to go make it when I ordered it. When our food came out it was mixed up. I had to ask her what was what, and reshuffle the plates myself. Every drink and every meal she served us was literally slapped on the bar. The presentation of the food was sloppy and not at correct temperature. Had to ASK for wasabi. Never again. It was terrible! We have been here nearly an hour waiting on appetizers that came out after our sushi, we still haven't received my daughters my child's nuggets. This will be the last trip to this place.
