Ate lunch with my mom and my sister today. We were seated immediately and our food was out very quickly. The service was good. Everything was great!

    Le nail. ...

Service was cold rushed and sub par. The dragon roll was good so I'll give them 1 star for that... now onto the entree... found a nail in it... and what do they offer me. A 15% discount and a 10 dollar gift cert that I couldn't even use tonight. Didn't strike the meal off my bill. Of which I didn't eat more than a few bites and some of the veggies before I got nailed with this terrible experience.

Neat little Japanese place here in Arab

Not a long wait although I was here right at 11:00 on a Monday. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. I had the lunch shrimp teriyaki and miso soup with a side of fried rice. Everything was good. Will be back again.

Best restaurant in town. Shrimp fried rice is the best with yum yum sauce. Tried several of the sushi's. Any of them make a good meal.

Sushi was really good! Generous amounts for the price. Food was ready for pick up in 15 minutes! Will definitely go back.

I can't say enough about the delicious Hibachi Chicken, and they have a big array of sushi as well if that's your thing.

Let's be honest, this isn't 5 star Japanese cuisine, but they don't pretend to be. This is simple,…read morefast, but also tasty, Japanese style food. Their sushi is basic, the Japanese style dishes are somewhat reminiscent of the Japanese style food I would eat in Okinawa - mostly tailored for the American palate, not the Japanese. So, what makes this place worth 4 stars? The combination of price, experience, expectation, and taste. They have a regular sesame chicken special (not to be confused with the Americanized Chinese dish of the same name). It's not battered and fried, and it's not sweet. IMHO, it's better. And you can't beat the price of $6.99. The portions are good, everything is made fresh, the sushi is fair (but so is the price). Reading some of the older reviews it's easy to see why restaurant owners fislike Yelpers. Two words, unfair expectations. If you expect five star experiences at a two star price, you're the one that's delusional. If you get what you pay for then you only have room to praise, not condemn. Their service is fast, this place is not fancy but the owners keep it clean. I've never been in there where they aren't mopping the floor or wiping down tables and the like. And they're very friendly! Small towns like this need people like this who are willing to open up restaurants and charge fair prices. The alternative is a town filled with boring chain restaurants or, even worse, poorly run chains run by people who don't care! So, buy local when you can!

They really utilized the space to give a feeling of being somewhere that's not Decatur Alabama and not the old Red lobster building. Whoever their interior designer was, hats off to you, WOW. (The tables are even branded!) My chicken katsu Curry was really yummy. It was so much chicken. I mean it felt like a huge serving to me. More like what I would cook for myself and my two toddlers. I had to take some home it was so much. I really want to try the donburi next time, or maybe the ramen. My cocktail was absolutely delicious. It was a rainbow plum wine that had Coca-Cola but, super surprised at how delicious, good mix. My husband really enjoyed his steak Teriyaki, I had a patient was very tender. While I didn't cry over the deliciousness of the food, it's definitely not bad and I feel like I really need to try a lot more of their menu, but the other customers around us looked really happy with their ramen bowls. Oh my goodness! We had a robot deliver us drinks and it was so cute and it had a happy little . The server was nice too and food came quickly. All I know is that I am going back to support them as often as I can because I don't want decatur to lose a restaurant that's actually trying to add flavor to this town without acting like they're for Richie-Rich people only. Adorable, affordable, and awesome night out.

Kind of a hole in the wall place - seating is limited, one comfy four top and then a lot of stuff mostly designed for 1-2 people. The booths can hold 4 people, but it will be a tight 4. They will hand you a menu when you come in, but you will order at the counter when you are ready. Water and unsweet tea were self serve and free, they had canned Coke products (no Coke Zero) -- all the dishes were served in togo/disposable containers. Employees were extremely friendly. We ordered a variety of dishes to sample everything; shrimp katsu plate, chicken gyoza, chicken katsu, beef curry rice and tonkotsu Ramen. Prices are reasonable for Huntville - Curry or Ramen dishes are $15, Katsu plates $12, and Kids (Keiki) are $8. Portions were good and food came out quickly. Wife is half Asian and said all the food was food for the most part. She enjoyed her Ramen and my Curry. I was not a fan of the gyoza (might have been it being chicken and not pork) and felt the sear was light. Vegetables in my curry were huge, but that's a nitpick. Both my kids ate their ketsu and rice without complaint; chicken ketsu I stole was moist. Definitely give it a shot!

I ordered the chicken katsu curry as a pickup. It survived a 25minute car ride and gas stop on the way home and the katsu was still crunchy. Everything was literally incredible, the curry was rich and flavorful, the rice cooked perfectly, plus the value for food is exactly what I would want. I'm counting the days to go back for the udon and ramen. I've found one of my favorite spots in Huntsville and it deserves to be packed everyday.
