The short of it is: My 80 year old MIL has been putting off getting a house cleaner for a very long time due to extremely high anxiety about, well, basically everything (and I mean EVERYTHING). Before finding Blue Rose Cleaning Services, I hadn't found a cleaner I felt would do the job in such a way as to reduce my MIL's anxiety. Cue Rosemeri! Oh my goodness. From the moment we spoke on the phone, I knew my MIL would be in good hands. Rosemeri explained the services offered, worked with me on the right balance of time spent on a deep clean and my MIL's school teacher retirement budget, and then set up a monthly service so that the house would stay in good shape. And then Marcelo and Hetielle!! These two people are just the loveliest. Absolute joy to be around. They do an amazing cleaning job and worked around my MIL's - shall we say, ever present and excitable - frenchie dog. And also put my MIL at complete ease. Okay, maybe not so short, but hopefully you can tell that I am truly appreciative and deeply grateful beyond words. Thank you so much Rosemeri, Marcelo, and Hetielle for treating my MIL like you would your own mom.

It's always hard to get accurate estimates for a whole house deep clean, and so many companies say one quote then completely change to a much higher quote! They had a two technician team come, and I wasn't home, I gave them the door code and they came on time, spent 4-5 hours deep cleaning the house and locked up when they completed! Valerie was the manager I communicated with and she was awesome! She communicated very well, was quick to reply in text message and even called me for a follow up to see if I was happy with their service! Unfortunately, I believe they left large scratches in my oven and on my microwave (see pictures). All of my appliances were about 1.5 years old and had zero damage before they came. I did point out the scratches on the microwave to Michelle, but she stated they could not have caused by them because they use soft cloths to clean. However those scratches were NOT there prior to the cleaning. Same with the oven - I honestly never have cleaned inside my oven before today. The only people to have cleaned it previously were Michelle's team. There are extremely deep scratches in the bottom of my oven that could only have been caused by scrubbing with something very rough. It's really damaged and the only people that could have damaged it are the cleaners. It's very very disappointing.

Ask for a deep cleaning if it's your first time, then they can do a regular cleanings as a followup thereafter because once they do the deep cleaning, it takes them no time to do a regular cleaning. I love asking for the deep clean once or twice a year. They're truly the best and at a very fair rate! Kind and professional.

Honestly, I would have been disappointed with the results even if I had booked a basic cleaning. There were multiple areas that were either missed entirely or simply not cleaned thoroughly enough, especially considering the price and the fact that I had specifically requested a deep clean. I do want to give the owner a lot of credit for how she handled my complaint. When I contacted her, she was very understanding and immediately offered to have the cleaning corrected. I explained that after the experience I wasn't comfortable having the same company return, and instead asked for a 50% refund so I could hire someone else to finish the cleaning. She didn't argue with me, pressure me to give them another chance, or make the process difficult. She issued the refund right away, which I genuinely appreciated. So while I can't recommend the cleaning service based on the experience I had, I can absolutely say that the owner handled an unhappy customer professionally and fairly. Unfortunately, the quality of the cleaning itself just didn't match what I expected from a $420 deep-cleaning service.
