The house was completely empty and fairly clean since nobody lived in it for a few weeks. The kitchen cabinets needed thorough wiping (some grease and stains), but the rest was mainly just dusty. I was delayed at work and couldn't be there when Salustia came out for the cleaning (there was a lock box on the door for entry). I arrived later that day and transferred the payment via zelle. The next day, when I started unpacking, it became clear to me that none of the top shelves in the kitchen were touched: there was dust - yep, dust, which is not noticeable to the naked eye, but comes off very quickly if you simply run a cloth or a duster. The bath tubs were also dusty since they hadn't been used for a while. Essentially, it looks like the floors were vacuumed and the bottom kitchen shelves were wiped, and that's about it. Not our agreement and definitely not what you would expect in a move-in type of cleaning. I asked Salustia what specifically was cleaned. She said "may not be perfect, but everything" - clearly not the case, and, well, I didn't expect perfection, but dirt is beyond imperfection in cleaning. She did offer to come in and redo the cleaning (hence two stars and not one). I refused since I already cleaned while unpacking.

This service was great. They called immeidately when I requested quotes. They were flexible when I had to rescheduled times for a person to come out to provide a more detailed quote. The quote was very reasonable. It was $450 for a very dirty home with 3 big dogs and cleaning service for nearly 30 years. Of course, it didn't come out perfect. That would probably have been $5000k. But it came out much cleaner and reasonable, and something my mom will be able to confidently return to. I think I have a regularly dirty home myself, and imagine the first deep cleaning estimate would be about $300 for 1200 sf. I look forward to scheduling this. Its been quoted to me for $450 before. But my home is not nearly as my mom's was. Another concern people have is secruity of property. The two women gave me no concerns. They actually alerted me to a concern they had about one of our horses. They were worried when they saw him in the pasture. It was fine, but the fact that they came to me to express a worry indicates they are good people. They did not speak english - I think they were ukranian or russian - but we used a translator app that met all needs. They worked very hard. I am a little concerned because they worked 6 hours and did not take any breaks. I didn't notice them use the bathroom or drink water. Its just a bit of a concern. But they were very hard working, honest people. Again, I hope to arrange further service. Especially if these two individuals can assist. Lovely hardworking people.
