The first time I came the see this dear man it was after my son got his first dress blues right out of the Marines. If you know this branch of the service you know your uniform has to be crisp and perfectly tailored. Well, I was more than pleased with the final product and would have written this back then but it was not available to me. Flash forward to 6/24 of this year... I had a dear friend who needed a very elaborate skirt altered and asked me if I knew where to take it and her. Well, I still remembered my last visit and how happy I was so there was no question where I would take her. This skirt had three layers of fabric, needed to be shortened, let out, waistband altered, you name it... and she needed it by 6/21. Well, guess what.....it was done and to perfection!!! I worked on Wall Street and I have been going to Rocco for custom shirts and suits for about 12 years. Its more expensive than off the rack but the shirts and suits fit much better and look much better - you can certainly tell if a shirt is custom or off the rack. I had been using Hong Kong Tailors before Rocco but the service and quality were nowhere near as good and Rocco was priced in-line with the Hong Kong Tailors. The service is great because you just deal with Rocco and he views customer service very highly. He doesn't nickle and dime you - you get good value and he will try to keep your costs down. Since moving to Summit, I've used Rocco to tailor several shirts and pants. He does a great job and for fair prices. I recently used him for a tuxedo rental when I was a groomsman in a wedding. The groom wanted us to wear flat front shirts with hidden buttons, an unusual request and I couldn't find those shirts anywhere. If you want quality work for a great price I would recommend stopping by this shop. All the work is done by hand something which is very hard to find these days. Also I was not aware by the selection of suits. I will definitely be going back next time I need a suit or any alterations. Great prices and great service. Rocco is a gentleman and very professional.
