The service was on point throughout the evening, on par with the nice restaurant. The menu had lots of things to order, and we went on a vegetarian route and ordered a few things to share. FRIED ARTICHOKES // Our favorite dish! I've never seen fried artichokes served like this. They were cut into thin slivers, battered and fried, resulting in very addictive and crispy artichoke chips. SWEET + SOUR EGGPLANT // The eggplant was cooked perfectly and melted in the mouth. The glaze wasn't overly sweet - second favorite! QUINOA // My least favorite dish. The quinoa was very plain, and would have benefited from more seasoning and veggies. Not something I would order while out at a restaurant. BURRATA // A delicious big ball of gooeyness, with arugula and tomato. Luzi B.B. is a great restaurant, and a perfect option for a sit-down meal. The brunch is a pre-fixed, bottomless experience with unlimited appetizers and one main dish, and you pay before being seated. Unfortunately, several dishes missed the mark. The calamari was a bit mushy, and both the dumplings and sausage appetizers were cold when they arrived at the table. The guacamole and the jamón and cheese platter were decent. I ordered the eggs Benedict as my main dish, and it was also served cold. The bacon wasn't crispy, although that may have been my fault since I didn't specify. The one positive was the service with the drinks. They were very quick to refill our champagne glasses. Overall, though, I wouldn't recommend it. Had I not already paid before being seated, I probably would have left earlier.
