Pros- -massage table was comfortable - the place was easy to find. I chose to park on a side street and walk a block because I wasn't sure about parking -people were nice Cons - my room was fairly well lit. Didn't help with feeling relaxed -my masseuse didn't turn music on until about 6-7 mins in. So up till then all I could hear was outside the door and my masseuse's breathing. Ugh! -the music was light jazz which would have been perfect for a cocktail party. There was no spa music which usually gives me that "zen" feeling -what my masseuse did on one side of my back, she did NOT do to the other. She favored my left side for some reason -I kept feeling a pulling on the sheets and I wasn't sure what that was. She kept stopping and doing something to the sheets -her strokes were not smooth and uninterrupted....they were choppy -she did not guide my body into the places they ought to be. Most masseuses gently place your head, leg, arms where they ought to be and promptly cover what is not needed for warmth. -she was texting while giving me the massage. Ugh! THE BIG CON---she LEFT midway through my massage to check if her keys were in her car. Again, I've had massages all over the globe and never have I been left in the room. She didn't even add on time for the time she was gone! I almost walked out Usually with massages, I'm in a completely relaxed state and drift between asleep and awake. With this one, I left fully alert and anxious for it to be done. I felt like I needed to go to the spa afterwards :-(

In the end she asked if I had any questions and I told her she did this thing on my back where it felt like she was popping little jelly balls. I got there early to fill out forms and my masseuse was waiting for me with good energy. She took her time to ask me questions and get to know what I wanted out of this experience. I asked for a deep tissue... and I definitely got that plus more. I felt like I was beat up (in a good way). She got in every crevice of my neck, back, shoulders and arms and worked out every kink that was present. We started around 6:50 or so and she went over to 8:15.
