I gave it an extra star because the sauces are the only thing saving these burritos. Chicken is dry EVERY TIME, add ons are ridiculously expensive, and they mess up an order 70% of the time. In their $10 tiny taco salads they give you 3-4 small pieces of meat. Overall the ingredients are fresh but lack a lot of flavor. You'd be better off going to chipotle where they actually have a marinade for their meat and don't rely on sauces. The quesadilla was great chips were alright. A bit crunchy, the metal/punk music set the mood of a "tattoo artist" sorta atmosphere. I won't recommend walking in here with a child unless they want to hear cursing or scream-o FYI. The home made salsa is excellent and has its own kick to it. My favorite restaurant in all of York. That said, I wish they'd step up their game a little bit at this location. The Lancaster location is always lights out, perfect. As is the newer west York location, but the Memory Ln spot is so inconsistent. So much potential. At this location, consistently, if you get a dairy free burrito with potato or mushroom - get ready for a tortilla filled with rice. Maybe a tablespoon of guacamole? A dollop of pico? My clients who got a steak and pork burrito were less than thrilled as well with the careless roll job. Robs is better than this and I'm sure Rob himself would be pissed to hear this considering how much pride he takes in his business. I'll give you four stars because the food is usually incredible... the one missing star is for the quality of the burritos at this location on a consistent basis. I bring clients here all the time (I'm a realtor), but I'm going to have to bring them to a different location or go to a different restaurant because I don't want their first robs experience to be poor. Forget Chipotle. Robs is the place to go. The BBQ steak burrito is my absolute favorite, but I've also had the surf and turf, chicken roburrito, and burritodilla and I have loved all of them. Strike one was "we're out of salsa", NOT followed with, "can we offer you some guac or something else as substitution?"...strike two was paying for a piss-warm bottled water...strike three was no soap in the bathroom-some of us like to wash our hands after we take a leak & before we eat... An interesting aside was having to tell the gal who took my money when I ordered how much change she owed me, followed by an anecdote from her as she handed me the rest of my change that I suspect was a hint to feed their tip jar with that extra change she forgot to hand me in the first place. But it was late, I was hungry, and I kinda had a jones for a burrito. However...the final straw was that my burrito went to the wrong customer, who proceeded to handle it although he had not actually taken a bite yet when the dude from the kitchen who had delivered to him came back out and said to him "whoa, sorry, that's not yours, that's for that guy over there" (me), and then he grabs up the burrito and proceeds to attempt to deliver it to me at my table like I should be perfectly OK with eating a burrito that's already been in another customer's hands. I can't tell you if the burrito was any good or not-I got my money back and got the hell out of there. The kitchen guy seemed put out, said something like "it was close but he didn't actually eat it". The guy must have managed to pick up on the fact that I was pretty pissed by that point, and he then tried to smooth it over by offering to cook me something else but I'd had enough. Then he had trouble figuring out what he owed me for a refund but I was able to help him out with that. Then he said he was gonna give me a ticket for a free burrito, asked me my name, wrote some stuff on an order pad, and then just walked away without handing it to me. I thought he went to get a manager's signature or something, and when he saw me still standing there he asked me if there was something else I wanted, like WTF was I still standing there for? Good question, actually. I've eaten in wrong-side-of-the-tracks dive bars that had more consideration for, and courtesy toward, their customers. I won't be back, and I gotta assume that Roburrito's must be paying off someone in the health department to stay in business because that place is a real dump. read more

Coming from a picky eater who loves Mexi-food and has worked at a great Mexican restaurant: The burritos are excellent, the quesadillas are the best I've ever had. For Central PA, you can't beat it. Fresh and yummy. The hot sauce selection is fantastic, and made locally. (I recommend the garlicky delight CURSE OF DRACULA) Great salsa as well, and i like the chips. Generally excellent distribution of ingredients in the burritos. Friendly staff with a sense of humor. Great guac, seriously. I've sampled chips/salsa/guac/burritos from Ithaca to Albuquerque and this is up there with the best of them. Not sure how anyone is rating this 1-2 stars, or recommending Chipotle over Rob's. (?!?!) My only complaint is sometimes I don't love the music playing, but c'mon, who cares. Good tradeoff bc you also hear awesome music here, from Motown to garage to power ballads :) This place is not "trying to be cool," they are cool. The owner has personality and it shows in the food/decor. He started selling burritos outta his house, worked his butt off and now provides employment/excellent food to Central PA- I'm happy to support it! And if you think there's too much rice, ask for a little less. That's what I do when i'm feeling picky. The burritos here are pretty good (when they're made correctly), but quality is inconsistent and the staff doesn't seem to care at all. There have been many instances where I've tried to call in an order, but the phone just rings and rings. On a couple occasions, I called and they put me on hold, then hung up. Ridiculous. I've also had them mess up my order at least three times. They forget the meat, use the wrong meat, or omit everything but the meat. What? One time, my coworkers all ordered chicken burritos and the chicken was nearly raw. Disgusting. We have now all written off Roburritos. There are better burrito options just a few minutes away. Since before I moved to Pennsylvania, I had been a fan of Neato Burrito, a local Harrisburg burrito shop. In the years following my move, a few people had mentioned Roburritos to me, but I never had a chance to check it out. But then a co-worker convinced me to join him for a burrito at a Rob's near our workplace. I was pretty impressed! The option of meats to choose from was great(steak, pork, chicken, and barbacoa). All of the ingredients were fresh. And to top it off, you can add bacon to your burrito? Yes please! Aside from burritos, Rob's also serves quesadillas, taco salads, and even has breakfast options on the weekends. Be forewarned, the lack of a proper menu may turn some off, but don't let that deprive you of these delicious treats! read more

I'm not one to frequent the burrito joint, to be honest, but to go in with a few friends and get the kind of service I did was truly unacceptable. First, I had ordered a meal and was not given it. In fact, she had pretended to not hear it but managed to hear everything else. Second, having the girl shake her head and obviously mumble remarks under her breathe about me and my friends is beyond rude. I will not be coming back and if needed will proceed to find either another Roburritos to frequent. I have been to several burrito places from large chain to local burrito places. I have been on the one in Dallastown and this one in Memory Lane. Lets start with the good... The Guacamole was very good. Everything was decently flavored. There was no lack of flavor. The things I did not like... I sometimes like getting a burrito bowl. The reason why is so I can see everything I'm eating and I just like it that way. I ordered a burrito bowl and was given a look and a "Yea I guess we can do that" . That was the point I was about to see, ok whatever just do the regular burrito. So, I got the roburrito, chips and gauc. Now, I do not expect to have a completely filled to capacity container for a burrito bowl, but I feel that the money I paid did not equal what I received. As you can see from the picture.The meat was dry... and that was the same complaint I have heard some other people give it as well. Another thing... I have gotten more chips at any other establishment that sells tortilla chips then I received here... Wayy too shy with the chips when someone orders both a side of gauc and salsa. read more

Roburrito's. Arguably the greatest burrito joint this side of the Mississippi. I once frequented this establishment twice a week for about three months. The only reason this restaurant doesn't get 5 stars is because in that span of time they never remembered my name.. and there's no way in hell they didn't recognize me. It kind of irritates me when I see the "hipster" genre associated with Robs on Yelp. Roburritos is for the people! In my time sitting on the bright orange barstools sampling every sauce to ever come across that counter, I got to notice quite a few people that also frequented Robs. Hardworking blue collar men with dust still on their steel-toes holding the door for suits double clicking the lock on their C-class key fob. Couples sitting across from each other in booths sharing chips and munching on steak burritos. Sure the music and the vibe of the joint may appear to be hipster.. but the heart and soul of Robburitos may indeed just be the heart and soul of York County. read more

I have to say that Today was one of the best robs experiences I've had in a long time. Memory lane location. Let me explain. The burrito was a good size. I mean it's hard to compare what is "good" anymore when it comes to a burrito from robs. Everything varies from location to location. Let's picture what a destroyer would normally have looked like 4 years ago and leave it at that. So lets look at the construction. The ingredients were perfectly portioned. I've never had so much amazing tasting guac in my beard after robs like I did today. The chicken was cooked just right (versus the normal overcook as of late) and sliced well. All but one piece anyway. The potatoes were just right. Not too crunchy, yet not super soft. I dont care about the salsa and I don't get beans or sour. Finally, the rice portion was right in line with the rest. The only semi complaint I would add was the thing fell apart. To counter this complaint, I would argue that it was such a great size it was worth having my body covered it burrito toppings. Lets get to the chips. Not a single chip was soggy, extra salty, old tasting. All had the crunch with the satisfying flavor to go with it. The tables at this location have been replaced. At least ours was right by the window. This gave the place a little bit cleaner look. And I suppose you might ask about the service. Robs is known for its various punk rock ish employees with bad assery personalities. This visit was an upgrade. I can't say it was the greatest on earth. But I have zero complaints on it. It wasn't "above and beyond" I guess you could word it. For instance, Brock (and others from the Dallastown location whom I don't know names) would always give a thanks for stopping by when leaving. This is enough to get you thinking about updating your schedule with your next Robs visits for the rest of the calendar year. With all this said, I would rate the experience an 8/10. Best Burrito in York. Make sure you try the Limeade as well as all the different hot sauces (Texas Hold em', Midnight Mango, and Peach Warrior being my favorites). The burritos are always fresh and have a very clean taste, plus the vibe at the restaurants is unique;y cool to say the least. read more
