I was looking for someone to handle a simple dash cam install on a new car…read more I called to discuss and was told I could come down now 5:00- pm as they are open late and could take a look and work out a price, so I drove through rush hour traffic to go there. Got there, parked went in and waited, everyone was in the back, the shop area, one of the guys saw me and told another guy, they were working on or playing with a sound system, there was a little kid on a shop chair or cart rolling around while others were cranking up some music very loud on a system. I figured, give them a few minutes someone will come out to the lobby/entrance and ask me what's up, except nobody ever came. They left me standing there without acknowledging me or saying they would be right out or anything. I waited a few minutes and left, I figured they either didn't want my business or just didn't like the look of me for some reason, so I left, found another shop to do the work. At the very least someone should have either motioned to me that they see me and will be with me in a minute or come to the front to tell me, hey we see you, give me a few minutes to finish up and we will have a look at your car or something, but to just ignore me wasn't going to work for me. People that disrespect their potential customers don't have good business skills and I really don't want to get involved with someone learning their way, I need a pro. We have several vehicles that need installs and a fleet of work vans so I can't waste my time with amateurs. Buyer beware, if you don't mind unprofessionalism and waiting while being ignored as if your time is worthless or being treated like they are doing you a favor to acknowledge you then this is your shop.

Allen was a tremendous help today. I live in Massachusetts and was purchasing a used car in…read moreConnecticut. It was last minute, but I found some mechanics listed on yelp who said they did mobile repairs and reached out. Allen was a great communicator and his price was fair for a pre-purchase inspection. He arrived exactly when he said he would and walked me through a multi-point inspection of the vehicle. He explained what he was looking for and how he determined if there was a problem or not. After a thorough check of the physical car, we went for a test drive and Allen again helped me understand what any areas of concern might be as he was carefully assessing the vehicle. He helped me find a few issues that were relatively minor. At the end we reviewed the inspection and discussed what the market value for the vehicle might be. I was fortunate (lucky) to find Allen available on such sort notice and am glad that I chose him for my pre-purchase inspection. I'm not sure I would have felt as confident in my choice to purchase the vehicle without Allen's expertise.
