I seldom take the time to write a review about a business and am more likely to write one after a…read morepositive experience than after a negative one but in this case I felt the need to vent a little frustration. I was looking for back up transportation after having issues with my 2000 Jaguar xkr, which, I have learned, is not something that cannot be addressed in a short time. I saw a 2003 Honda VTX 1800 Cruiser for sale at Action and thought it would be just the thing. So this past Saturday I made a trip down there to take a look. The sales person I dealt with was Micheal. He was friendly and helpful and showed me the bike and we sat down to talk. I told him I wanted to put $500.00 down and finance the balance. The total out the door was about $4,600. Micheal asked me to browse around while he checked with his sales manager. A few minutes later he called me in and told me they just needed a little more down $785.00 and we could inc. the deal. We then went to the Finance woman, who struck me as rude and seemed a bit put off when I told her I was only interested in three numbers. I said I need the out the door price, the total payout cost after financing and the APR. She then proceeded to give me the out the door and invited me to use my cellphone calculator to calculate the rest on my own. My eyebrows raised as I was about to mention that maybe she could use the calculator sitting on her desk about four inches from her hand but she must have had a change of heart because she preempted me and used hers. They offered me the following: $785.00 down and payments of $120 for 48 months, $160.00 for 36 months or $200 for 24 months. This calculates to 21% interest. I was told that rate was based on my 637 credit score (It's actually 670). So I told Micheal I would get back to him on Tuesday (they are closed Mondays) So I texted Micheal Sunday night and told him I would come down Tuesday and make the deal at their asking price and their terms, but asked could he provide me a decent helmet to make 21% interest a bit less painful. Micheal replied he could probably get me a discount. So Tuesday I texted again and said I am off work at 4:00 and will come down and do the deal if he could get me a helmet. Micheal replied he could get me a discount. I texted again and said I don't want a discount, I want a decent helmet. He answered that his sales manager would not let him give that. I was stunned. So I just texted back "Sorry to hear that. Thank you. I got one last text from Micheal. He thanked me back. I mean I really don't have a right to complain, after all it's up to them what price they are willing to get for what's theirs but I sure did feel disappointed at the absolute stone wall attitude. Not a good vibe to be sure. Yeah I'm bummed but maybe I'm better off looking elsewhere. I agreed to their terms with no haggle and even the outrageous 21% interest and they couldn't throw me a helmet as a bone. Wow! I guess the overall 2.5 combined customer rating makes sense. Disappointed almost customer.

The underside was packed with mud, weeds, cow crap, stickers etc. obviously they don't take pride in what they sell. The lady that took my check was very condescending. The only thing that saves them from getting a one star or zero is my sales guy was ok and there was a young sales guy that was very friendly and polite.

I found a new 2014 Stratoliner I agreed to purchase with a 2009 Stratoliner trade over email exchanges. I wanted to keep the quick change back rest on my bike. I have attached a photo of the email that caused my review. Upon riding 5 hours to make the deal, Troy first informed me that he would have to charge me labor to switch the mounting hardware to my new bike. I agreed this was fair. We continued inside to sign the paper work. Right away Troy started to be hesitant saying he would now need to replace my back rest and he had built the trade in price with the back rest. I agreed my email wasn't clear if was referring to the actual seat pad or the back rest even though the subject line clearly states back rest. Troy continued to to tell me he needed to charge me "replacement cost" of $374 plus labor to put a quick change back rest back on my trade in. So to clarify, Troy wanted to purchase a new back rest, charge me labor to switch mounting hardware in exchange for me to keep my used back rest that was purchased in 2009. I quickly found several back rests that retailed for less than $200 on jpcycles.com. When I showed Troy these prices, he stated they weren't yamaha branded. I basically felt Troy was trying to leverage the fact that we were from out of state and could not continue to Bikes, Blues and Bbq in Fayetteville without the seat that held our luggage. I again agreed that there was some confusion but it was unfair (not the actual word used) to charge so much in order for me to keep my original back rest. I countered his offer by agreeing to $200 more or I was walking out. My wife and I rode 5 hours to get this bike in good faith to honor our deal. At no time was I dishonest about my trade and I had sent the Craigslist add to Troy showing all of the pictures of my trade. I will never deal with this business again! This happened 2 weeks ago and I even regret paying the extra $200. I should of only paid the labor to change the back rest. On a positive note, the finance lady was great. She was very understanding and even through in a Yamaha hat. We even joked that it was a $200 hat. I really hope Troy makes an effort to handle issues like this in a better way next time. I will never trust him again. The bike I purchased had no back rest, so we needed my seat to continue our trip. I am also including a picture of the bike showing the luggage rack we arrived with.

Tulsa Powersports were booked 2 weeks out, but i set an appointment anyway because they're the only Honda repair place i could find locally. When i showed up 2 weeks later, it was like i had snuck up on them. They didn't know who i was or why i was there, and the salesperson filled out a new ticket for my repair. He said it would take a week or two. About 2 weeks later i got a call that the work was done, and came back to pick up the mower. I was charged nearly $200 for the "repair," but i saw little improvement in the wheels' movement. I asked for a refund which they issued, and they asked if they could attempt to make it right by actually repairing the mower's wheel issue. I agreed and was impressed at their integrity at this point. They said it would be a few more weeks. After about a month, I hadn't heard anything so I called the shop for an update, and the salesperson said the mower was ready, that the mechanic who had "repaired" the mower previously had misdiagnosed the issue, but he assured me it was fixed this time. I showed up today, and was charged the same price as before, nearly $200 (they are asking $450 for their brand new mowers). The salesperson commented that I wouldn't be charged for the labor for both of the "repairs," as if i should be thankful, and he wheeled out the mower. The wheels' movement hasn't improved since the last visit. I asked the salesperson if he would be happy receiving this quality of service for this price and he responded, "yes." It gave me everything i need to know about this operation. Zero integrity. Zero accountability. I would suggest heading elsewhere for any repairs you may need.
