My daughter and I happened to see Collinsville as we were driving so stopped to see if they had something. Immediately Danny came out to render us service. I expressed that we were just looking real quick. Super nice, he said if we needed anything he was there. Following day my husband and I looked a couple places but again rude people (if you found someone and I wasn't having it. I told my husband about this lot and told him how nice the guy was so my husband agreed. Danny's son greeted us this time. He was the sweetest, and eager to help. We found a car that was actually a little out of our range and the air didn't work but they were just so nice there I really wanted them to have our business. Immediately finding out that the air didn't work they took it to a shop to fix. Took 10 min max. Not only did he fix it but dropped the price a bit just in case something were to happen again. They are seriously sweet and genuine here. They will definitely have my business again!

Never Again: Why I'm Done With Ford…read more Never again will I drive a vehicle that needs to be Fixed Or Repaired Daily. I've owned three Ford vehicles. My first was a 2008 Expedition, purchased through military sales while stationed in Korea--zero issues. It gave me confidence in the brand. But everything went downhill from there. My second Ford was a 2015 F-150 Platinum. While driving on cruise control back to Ft. Sam Houston, Texas, the truck suddenly slammed on the brakes--as if something were in the road. There wasn't. It scared the hell out of me. When I took it to a Ford dealer in San Antonio, I was told that the recall for this issue had "already been completed," and they refused to fix it. I traded that truck in as-is for a Chevy and moved on. Unfortunately, my next mistake was buying a used 2017 F-150 Limited from Patriot Auto Group in Chandler, Oklahoma. Let me be clear: do not buy a used vehicle from them. Either they knowingly sold me a flood-damaged vehicle, or they were too careless to realize what they had. I thought I was getting a good deal. I was wrong. The truck's driver-side running board wouldn't function properly--it took eight weeks and a call to one of the owners just to get aftermarket replacements installed. Then the real nightmare began. While driving, all the electronic systems--warning lights, headlights, turn signals, radio--would flash erratically. The horn quit working. The engine would randomly shut off while I was on the road. All I could do was coast to a stop and pray it was somewhere safe. I took the truck to Bill Knight Ford. They charged me over $4,000 to fix it. They claimed some kind of leak had caused electrical damage. After two and a half weeks, the exact same issue returned. When I brought it back, I was told it would cost another $11,000 to fix it. When I questioned how I'd already paid them to fix this exact problem, they said they'd "discount the $11,000 by what I'd already paid." That's not a discount--that's charging twice for one repair. I contacted Progressive to file a claim. They told me the truck wasn't covered because I bought my policy in Texas and the repairs were in Oklahoma. They also casually mentioned that the windshield had been replaced--a clue that there was prior damage not disclosed to me. I still have the truck, and I fully intend to sell it as is, just like I did with the 2015 Platinum. And if someone ends up getting injured due to this vehicle's faults, I'll sleep just fine. I have documentation showing I tried to fix it and that Ford failed me at every turn. Bottom line: Ford, your trucks aren't just unreliable--they're dangerous. You lost a loyal customer. And to Patriot Auto and Bill Knight Ford: shame on you for your dishonesty and failure to stand behind your work. This F-150 may be Found On Road Dead, but this time, it won't be my problem.

Unfortunately, I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Seth Wadley, especially as a woman. My husband and I went in looking at vehicles and had been speaking a a salesman for a few days. We expressed we'd need to have a good trade in on our current car to make the switch. They called and I explained that I lived about 30 minutes away and would only be coming in to bring my current vehicle in so they could evaluate it and let me know what they would offer us for a trade-in. I was specifically told over the phone that this would be fine. When we arrived, however, we were immediately pressured into buying the vehicle and signing paperwork. I explained again that we were there to have my vehicle evaluated and that we were not necessarily there to purchase that day. Instead, I was met with, "Then why did you even come here?" We were repeatedly told how "great" the vehicle was and what a good financial investment it would be. Eventually, we purchased the vehicle. The offered a great deal for trade in. During the financing process, I was extremely uncomfortable with the way I was treated. The finance representative would barely acknowledge me or even look at me. While my husband was speaking with our salesman, the finance representative would put paperwork down in front of my husband and tell him to sign it with no explanation of what it was he was signing. Whenever I interrupted to ask what he was signing or to get clarification, the finance representative became visibly irritated. I can't speak for anyone else's experience, but as a woman who was also purchasing a vehicle, I felt completely dismissed and talked over throughout the process. To be fair, they did give us a great trade-in value, and that is genuinely the only positive thing I can say about the actual car buying experience. They also offer free oil changes, which is another positive. Unfortunately, our experience with the vehicle itself has been a completely different story. The moment we got into the vehicle after purchasing it, in the lot, my 12-year-old found a needle in the very back of the vehicle. About a month and a half later, the body control module went out and left us stranded with my oldest out of town at camp. Between a rental car, towing, parts, and labor, we had to come up with approximately $6,000 to get the vehicle back on the road. We ultimately had to pull money from our retirement accounts to cover the expense. Then the trunk stopped working and still does not work. With three kids, this has been incredibly inconvenient. Shortly after that, our transmission went out. The vehicle we were repeatedly told was such a "great" car and a good financial investment has ended up being an extremely expensive one for our family. We have a $670 monthly car payment, on top of the thousands of dollars we've had to spend on repairs. I understand that buying a used vehicle always comes with some level of risk, and I don't expect a dealership to predict every mechanical issue a vehicle may eventually have. However, when you combine the way we were pressured into the purchase, the way I was treated during financing, finding a needle in the vehicle immediately after purchase, and the significant mechanical problems we've experienced shortly afterward, I cannot honestly say that I would recommend this dealership or this vehicle buying experience to others. We personally will not purchase another vehicle from Seth Wadley.
