You want a place you can trust to treat you right as a customer. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Action Powersports. The old-school values of customer loyalty and building relationships with customers don't seem to be part of this company's vision anymore. I'm a simple customer -- treat me fairly, and I'll continue doing business with you and recommend you to others. After my experiences there, not once but twice over the last few years, I can honestly say I won't be returning. You couldn't pay me to go back. They have plenty of inventory and lots of toys, but very little focus on customer satisfaction or doing what's right. That's the disappointing part, because they definitely have the products -- just not the willingness to take care of customers the way they should. read more

I seldom take the time to write a review about a business and am more likely to write one after a positive experience than after a negative one but in this case I felt the need to vent a little frustration. I was looking for back up transportation after having issues with my 2000 Jaguar xkr, which, I have learned, is not something that cannot be addressed in a short time. I saw a 2003 Honda VTX 1800 Cruiser for sale at Action and thought it would be just the thing. So this past Saturday I made a trip down there to take a look. The sales person I dealt with was Micheal. He was friendly and helpful and showed me the bike and we sat down to talk. I told him I wanted to put $500.00 down and finance the balance. The total out the door was about $4,600. Micheal asked me to browse around while he checked with his sales manager. A few minutes later he called me in and told me they just needed a little more down $785.00 and we could inc. the deal. We then went to the Finance woman, who struck me as rude and seemed a bit put off when I told her I was only interested in three numbers. I said I need the out the door price, the total payout cost after financing and the APR. She then proceeded to give me the out the door and invited me to use my cellphone calculator to calculate the rest on my own. My eyebrows raised as I was about to mention that maybe she could use the calculator sitting on her desk about four inches from her hand but she must have had a change of heart because she preempted me and used hers. They offered me the following: $785.00 down and payments of $120 for 48 months, $160.00 for 36 months or $200 for 24 months. This calculates to 21% interest. I was told that rate was based on my 637 credit score (It's actually 670). So I told Micheal I would get back to him on Tuesday (they are closed Mondays) So I texted Micheal Sunday night and told him I would come down Tuesday and make the deal at their asking price and their terms, but asked could he provide me a decent helmet to make 21% interest a bit less painful. Micheal replied he could probably get me a discount. So Tuesday I texted again and said I am off work at 4:00 and will come down and do the deal if he could get me a helmet. Micheal replied he could get me a discount. I texted again and said I don't want a discount, I want a decent helmet. He answered that his sales manager would not let him give that. I was stunned. So I just texted back "Sorry to hear that. Thank you. I got one last text from Micheal. He thanked me back. I mean I really don't have a right to complain, after all it's up to them what price they are willing to get for what's theirs but I sure did feel disappointed at the absolute stone wall attitude. Not a good vibe to be sure. Yeah I'm bummed but maybe I'm better off looking elsewhere. I agreed to their terms with no haggle and even the outrageous 21% interest and they couldn't throw me a helmet as a bone. Wow! I guess the overall 2.5 combined customer rating makes sense. Bought a used UTV from them. The only part that was clean was what you could see standing at a distance. The underside was packed with mud, weeds, cow crap, stickers etc. obviously they don't take pride in what they sell. The lady that took my check was very condescending. The only thing that saves them from getting a one star or zero is my sales guy was ok and there was a young sales guy that was very friendly and polite. read more

First time inquiring from this place for an ATV. Noticed their prices are quite a bit higher than competitors and suggested retail. Submitted an online inquiry asking about the prices and more information and have yet to hear a response. I hope their customers service is not like this where one cannot even respond to a simple inquiry. Was looking for a used 6x6 near TX and Action Powersports in Tulsa OK was the only place that had one. Let me tell you how poor the customer service was. If I had the choice I would have walked away from making the deal but I needed the unit yesterday. They wouldnt take a credit card payment over the phone which in this day and age seems pretty 1980, it was under $7000. I asked if I could overnight a check which was met with a Big Fat NO!!. I did a transfer from my bank account to theirs, you would think I had just run over their beloved grandmother with the treatment I got from their fiance lady. She called me up demanding I give her my credit card for a $500 deposit or they would sell the unit on me. She said there is no money transfer, but I had confirmation on my end from bank that the money had been deposited. The salesman Tubby was rude and so unhelpful. Finally I called a week later and by golly they had the money that was transferred, do you think they called me to let me know...Big Fat NO!! Would I recommend this place, no sir read more

I bought my son a Yamaha out of state and had issues getting it to start/run. I was able to take it to APS the day I called and they got it up and running for me. They were extremely helpful and courteous even though I did not purchase the bike through them. I will continue to do business there for all our dirt bike needs. read more

Took a Kawasaki Mule to them to repair problem They kept it for 3 weeks and then called me back to tell me they could not find any problem (after running for a few hours will not idle and quits and will not re-start), I took it home and same problem is there. I called them back and they told me to bring it back out but it would be at least 4 weeks before they could even look at it. I told them that was not going to cut it so they told me to try Shaggy's in B.A. Good advice. They are at least going to provide me a loaner until they get problem worked out but assured me they would get right on it. read more

This place is absolutely horrible! I would not recommend anyone buy from them! We purchased our first brand new bike here and have had nothing but problems from the moment the sale was complete. The service department sucks, the parts department is the worst ever! The only good thing about this transaction was the salesperson. From that point on, it has been a complete nightmare! I am rating my experience buying parts here, not the new bike sales. Here are my issues: 1. If you come in with your own part numbers, the counter guys are able to give you a 10% discount. This is great, if they choose to do it, however, it is not a store policy. They get paid on commission and some find it in their favor to not give the discount. Be sure you are going to be given this discount before the sale and ask for another sales person if not. 2. Depending on who waits on you, you may be asked to wait several times while they answer the phone and help those potential customers. This also means they are distracted & some of the parts you ask for may not actually get ordered (as mine didn't). I would estimate my total wait time was extended at least 15 minutes due to being asked to wait while they fielded phone calls. 3. management doesn't seem to care about satisfaction of customers. You can address issues via the contact email address on the website, but they don't respond. When you call, don't expect them to express concern that you left unsatisfied. I spent around $800 on parts over a one month period. They took one week longer than necessary to arrive because one of the counter guys was too busy helping phone customers and could have cost me nearly $100 less if I had received the discount I mentioned above at each visit. I would only purchase parts here if you have no other alternative. This was a great place to shop before they expanded and moved across the street. read more

Been quite a while since I've run into a more mismanaged and dishonest group. They drug me along for an entire day selling me a sxs and all the while it was already sold to someone else. I only finally got this information after repeated calls and the run around. Unreal. Extremely poor customer service, my salesman Eastman was too scared to tell me the truth I guess and finally after repeated calls I got the real story from some manager. read more

I bought a used Goldwing trike there and was told the bike was in great shape and and it was in good condition ..i ask to test ride but they said NO do to insurance reasons..any way being a dealer i figured i would trust them to be honest .....WAS I Ever WRONG...... They loaded i t on a trailer for me and i brought i t home.....120 miles away from dealership.....when i go t home took trike out for a ride it drove funny after further looking at it and taking covers all off found the frame was busted and it had NO REAR brakes......i called an d talked to service he ask me to send pictures which i did...... he said he would get with owners.... i called back in a couple of days always got a run around i left my number 6 times to hae someone call me back...... NO ONE EVER HAS I would not recommend this Motorcycle shop to anyone.. read more

purchased a 2011 heritage & was talked into purchasing the extended warranty coverage. voltage regulator went out almost immediately & when i ask about warranty coverage i was told that the coverage would not be in force until the paperwork was registered which could take three months!! bought the regulator from harley & installed it myself. few weeks later the clutch starts to slip & the derby cover bolts have been installed so tight that the torx head bit breaks! they remove derby cover, adjust clutch which is burned up & charge me. clutch goes out completely; no warranty on the clutch or the derby cover nuts. few weeks later the starter drive fails. they tell me knew this when they were in there for the derby cover!! why didn't they fix it then?! 14 days fixing it & still don't have bike back yet. tells me battery is now dead & you guessed it; no warranty! ( even tho they installed a new one prior to the sale because it would not start!!!) i've never heard of a purchased coverage that was not in force immediately after you purchase it??? read more
