Great Tex-Mex. Solid staff. I stick with my standard cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. They never dissapoint. Great place to bring the kids as well. The breakfast is also on-point. Great to have an alternative in Canton that offers some migas or chilaquiles with a nice cup of coffee in the morning. Dash some chalula on it, and you're golden. read more

We went for breakfast a few days ago. We were excited about trying it, but it was not good at all. My husband had chicken fried steak and eggs. He literally could not eat the meat. It had some nasty looking white stuff in the meat. He did like the hash browns. I had some kind of open cheese and onion breakfast enchilada that was literally two tortillas with a few raw onions and about a two tablespoons of barely-melted cheese in between. The chips and salsa were good and the servers were nice, but the meals were just not good at all. read more

Stopped for lunch at 1:30 they close at 2:00 but friendly waitress told us to come on in. Hot day and AC out but they had a big fan that kept us comfortable. We ordered the enchiladas plate - 4 enchiladas one each, cheese, chicken, beef, steak with beans and rice. Every bite was good - the red sauce was flavorful and the tortilla had a great texture. read more

It's not Worth it, I paid 20 dollars for a burrito and a drink. for the price and the name I thought it was going to be really good and big but it was a regular burrito trust me when I said Taco Bell burritos are way better read more

After all day in the trade swap meeting we tried this Mexican restaurant. I got carne asada and it was raw, had to ask for some spicy salsa. But I got to say tortillas were fresh!! read more

Meh. Average Tex mex with above average price. We have at least 4 Mexican restaurants in Canton already. We NEED a German restuarant!!

Gave this spot a try after a long day at Trade Days. The chips leave much to be desired. The food was bland and felt like we were having left overs. The portions between three adult entrees were inconsistent. I'm not sure what was going on in this restaurant that afternoon, but I do hope it was an off day and this isn't their typical fare. But that will be left up to someone else to figure out as we won't be back. read more

Great place to eat breakfast coffee very good. Chorizo and egg delicious tortillas tasty. Service great very polite read more

Came here for breakfast had a bacon and sausage omelette. Had biscuits and hash browns along with it. Everything had a great taste to it, the omelette was stuffed full with bacon, sausage, and cheese. Hash browns were crispy, and biscuits were toasted on the griddle. All in all everything tasted great read more

The food was great. It's a small restaurant compared to others in the area. It's BYOB. The service was EXCELLENT!!

Best Mexican food in the region. If they don't have it on the menu, just ask and they will make it for you. Their food is made from scratch. The owner is usually there and waiting on tables as well. I eat here three or four times a week. If you are in Canton it is a must eat at place! read more

We had just shopped the first Monday grounds and were needing a light meal to get us recharged. Ordered the sampler to share with my daughter and the flauta was so overcooked and dripping of grease I was not able to eat eat it. The cheese quesadilla was just a cheese one, nothing to brag on. Two beef nachos again nothing to brag about. Thank goodness for the queso (small and a bit thin on consistency) but had great taste. All the waitress were watching a movie and folding utensils and not paying much attention to the few customers that were in the restaurant. Needless to say, we will not be back to this restaurant. read more

What a nice surprise. We were hungry after shopping first Monday & decided to try a new place. The service is great & food delicious. Carne asada was tender & flavorful. Mexican tacos r Barbacoa which contained a lot of delicious meat. Don't forget to order homemade corn tortillas read more

I'm sorry but your food is just not good. It looked like a dish forgotten a few days ago and tasted no better. It was just bad Your waitress was good at her job though. read more

Great salsa!! Beef enchiladas and chicken flautas were the bomb! Even the rice and beans were top notch. Very conscientious service too. Pair good food with great service and it's a winner! read more

We were in town this past weekend to attend the National Dutch Oven Gathering and decided to have some TexMex before we packed up and headed home. Out 1st choice was closed, they're only open on Sundays during "First Mondays". We decided to give Robles a try. It wasn't bad, in fact some of the dishes we tried were quite good. My sister and wife both said the fajita chicken was some of the best they've every had. The chips were not greasy and crisp. The hot sauce could have used a punch! Service during our visit was spotty at best. Many times, our glasses were empty and took a while before they were filled. Overall the experience was OK, but that is all. read more

We eat here as often as we can. The food is perfect. The complimentary chips are thin and crispy, and the salsa is the right degree of spicy. I have ordered the appetizer platter, the mole poblano platter, flautas, queso flammeado, and the tortilla soup (of course not all on the same night!). I have never not been delighted with my meal. The service is also perfect. The servers are attentive and responsive. Honestly, this place feels like a family kitchen, and I am always happier after I eat there. read more

They do not use real meat, the hot sauce is WATERED down and complete trash. The service was terrible, the chips were cold. It was dirty, and just over all a horrible experience. DO NOT WASTE $50 ON THIS PLACE LIKE I DID. I told the lady we could not even eat our food because it was so over cooked and nasty and she scoffed at me. she could have at least given a discount, but nope nothing. read more

The best Mexican food I've ever had and I eat Mexican food daily! Clean, efficient and super friendly service! We eat here every single time we are in Canton...usually every day as they serve the best breakfast too! read more

The owners clearly don't care about their customers. They had one server show up and they did not help her. They would not help her seat the customers. They would not help her get chips and salsa out to the tables. They would not assist her in getting drinks orders. NOTHING! The food was horrible for the price they charged. The lunch portion fajitas is a joke. 4 small slivers of meat with a couple of grilled onions served on a paper plate. The nachos were horrible! This is not Tex-mex. This is some version of a microwaved TV dinner. The restaurant was NOT clean and when having to find my server I saw the kitchen and it was scary. A phone call to the health department was made. The owners need to care about their business and their employees a little more or just close down. We won't be back. read more

The food was all prepared very well, and looks delicious. However... EVERYTHING is spicy. I was bummed that I wasn't able to enjoy the flavors of the food through all of the heat. If you don't mind a kick, it's definitely worth a visit. read more

My Husband , 2 young girls , and myself went to eat here today for Fathers Day. They were not too busy, like every other place in town. The food took forever to come out. Then mine was wrong when we got it. Our waitress never came to refill our drinks. And it was extremely over priced. $8.00 for 2 sweet teas. That's ridiculous I just bought a 24 pack of soda at Walmart for $8.00. Awful service - over priced food - we will not be back! However the food was good but the price and service has ruined it for us! read more

Food was solid, service was excellent, and are food came out really fast! We had queso, kids plates, street tacos, and enchiladas. Everything was awesome . read more

After careful reviews that are out dated I am writing a more up to date review. I ordered the lunch chicken fajitas. It came with 2 soft shells, rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream . It was plentiful and tasted good. I admit the texture felt different in my mouth. I think that was all in my mind due to the negative reviews that was on my mind at the time. I say give this place a try. Cost was $8.99. I had 3 different employees ask me if everything was ok. All of them were polite. I didn't hv a long wait for service or my food. The place was clean, but I wish I had the opportunity to see the kitchen primarily because of the negative rules. Alcohol is not served here. I want planning on drinking this day anyway. This place is about 3 miles south of the interstate off of Highway 19 and close to the 1st Monday events. I'm sure I'll definitely be back. read more

We were traveling home to South Dakota and asked a local where to eat Mexican food. We were not disappointed. We entered Robles very skeptical after seeing these awful reviews but we were hungry and tired and settled. We could not have been happier with our experience. Our food was probably the best Mexican food we have had in a while. The chips and salsa were great and each person gets there own salsa in a little styrofoam cup. Which is great for our family because we love our salsa! The fajitas came with a lot of meat and fresh tortillas. The tacos were also loaded with meat compared to a typical Mexican restaurant. Everything was delicious possibly due to there new chef from Mexico!! Our waitress was amazing I believe her name was Linda, but don't hold me to it. She was a very friendly, caring, and very personable waitress! The rest of the staff was nice as well and they all seemed to tend to all of the tables! Over all very pleased with our experience and we will come here again next time we come for trade days! read more

Chips and hot sauce are delicious. The beef fajita torta was good to see on the menu, and the taste didn't disappoint!! Yum

This is their new location & my first time here. We almost got lost since we were coming from Georgia from our friends daughter wedding to our home in Rockwall Texas. Well the service was great and I am Mexican and let me tell you this is real Mexican food . I make this food at home and yes very good and authentic and place is very clean. Bathroom brand new. As I own a company I have my standards of what a business should give there customers and I am very happy with my experience at Robles Mexican Restaurant read more

TERRIBLE! The service was terrible, the food tasted good but made us SICK. We waited for 15 minutes for our server to take our order - and she walked by 5 times without saying anything to us. I ordered the lunch special and was brought something completely different. After complaining to the server she brought what I had ordered but charged me OVER full price on the ticket. And unlike every other restaurant in ETX, they charge extra for tortillas. And as if the dinning experience wasn't bad enough, my boyfriend spent the rest of the afternoon in the bathroom with a moderate case of food poisoning. This place sucked - BAD - and we will NOT be going back. I wouldn't suggest it to my worst enemy. read more

Not a great choice in Canton. Salsa pretty good but refrained beans seemed very fat laden. Restrooms were horrible which makes me wonder about the rest of the place. Won't likely go back. read more

Food was ok. Nothing was spectacular. Bathrooms were unclean and no toilet paper. Waitress was nice and served everything fast.

Well, where to start.... 1. Service was lacking. 2. Employee attitudes also lacking. 3. Quality of food? Not able to eat. Fajata worse I ever had. 4. Cleanliness...lacking... But on the positive side...the flies were not dying on your plate..or at least I don't think they were..really too many to keep up with. Gave it a one star, because had to mark something. read more
