We've ordered tamales from here many times!' They are some of the best I've had!! We order several dozen for Christmas Eve, every year. Get your order in way early in the month though! I always order the Spicy Pork Tamales. They include their excellent salsa. We've also had breakfast here a couple of times and never been disappointed. Great service! Great prices! Great food! read more

After my experience today, I've learned that this place has come under new management, which is disappointing that the opportunity to improve this restaurant was lost on me. I started by calling ahead because I've often had to wait a long time when I order at the drive thru. I was told it would take 20 minutes. I arrived 5 minutes early and had to wait a while before someone greeted me at the window. I arrived early so I could discuss why the total I was quoted seemed higher than what I saw on the menu posted on Google. I ordered 6 fajita beef tacos at $3.50 each. When I got to the restaurant, I was told that the tacos were $6.00 each. The woman at the window stated that it's an old menu and suggested I read the disclaimer about menu availability. She told me that all current information is on their Facebook page. I suggested to her that you may want to get with Google and have it updated. She responded by telling me that they have nothing to do with what they have on Google and again suggested I read the disclaimer about the menu availability. Way to put that on your customer who is now paying $10 more because they read the "wrong menu". So I gave her my card to pay for the food. It had already been 20 to 25 minutes since I ordered ahead. She gave me back my card and receipt and closed the window. I figured she'd be back with my order. I didn't see anyone for 15 more minutes. I was livid. A car drove up behind me and I thought hopefully, that will get someone to the window so I can ask what was taking so long. When she finally opened the window, I said, "I called ahead for a reason, you quoted me 20 minutes and it has been 40 minutes. What took so long?" All she said was "Sorry about that. Have a nice day." Then she shut the window on me. I saw red but I took a deep breath and drove off telling myself both Google and Facebook are getting this review. I will say this one good thing about my experience. When I got home and sat down to eat, the tacos were the ! Way better than the dry tacos I've had from previous visits. So, if anything will save this place, it's the cook. Whoever you are, I thank you. I hope you are well compensated . However, I'm sorry to say. I will never go back due to how I and my concerning questions about the menu were treated at the window. Do better about who you have read more

What a feast we enjoyed Sunday morning thanks to Luna Tamales. The tamales had just the perfect meat to masa ratio!!! We also tried the menudo and it too was spiced up just right! Very friendly service! Can't wait to be back in East Texas to feast on some delicious authentic Mexican cuisine! We'll be taking some back to share with the rest our fam! Love the drive up to go option available! read more

Great food when your order is correct. Have had multiple occasions where I get home and order is wrong. Service is alright. Usually takes a bit. Pretty pricy as well but like I said. Food is Very good!! read more

I'm disappointed. We got a couple dozen tamales today, pork and beef. The taste is alright, but they are all flat, nearly no filling. In fact, we had a husk that didn't have enough filling to stay together to even pretend to be a tamale. We probably won't be going back. read more

Luna's Tamales - Bulk of the tamales looked like this one. - Mexican Near Me - Wills Point, Texas

Although the food is good, they raise their prices continually without notice and do not honor their posted prices. A brisket, fries, and drink is niw over 14 dollars. read more

The absolute best tamales in the Wills Point area! You can order and get homemade or walk in and get fresh frozen. They have beef or pork. They also have really good homemade salsa. Red or green. You can't go wrong with anything they sell. Very friendly people!! read more

Great tamales. Now they have spicy pork and they are delicious! We've ordered three dozen and a jar of salsa for our Christmas party.

Been going to Luna's since they opened up the smaller store on HWY 80. I'm so glad they are open most days now, my family (Husband and 9 y/o daughter) get's so excited when I suprise them with Luna's! I highly suggest the brisket tacos with cheese, my daughter and I like the bean cheese and rice tacos, and the salsa is amazing but there is never enough so we always end up ordering extra (If you're a salsaholic like my family then I suggest you do the same:) read more

We have always loved this place for Sunday morning breakfast especially. A bit disappointed this morning though! My husband has ordered the menudo several times before but was very disappointed when he ordered it this morning! They brought it to the table with hardly any meat mainly juice! We mentioned it to the lady that waited on us & she went & checked came back with it's whatever comes in the spoon of a 16 oz serving! So we pretty much paid for juice!!! read more

They have added so many little plates. Chili Relleno and Tortas. It's a must if traveling through on I-80. read more

We picked up some tamales to go last week and they were excellent! We decided to dine in this last time and tried the tacos and menudo. The tortillas are homemade and the tacos are huge. We had the brisket taco and beef and potato tacos. All were very tasty and fresh. Definitely recommend this place for homemade Mexican good. read more

Best tamales ever! Service is also fantastic! I will never ever go to another place for tamales. Street tacos and burritos are equally yummy! My family requested them from Missouri so we froze four dozen and delivered. They tasted just a s good after being thawed out and reheated. Eat here! You will not be disappointed! read more

let me just say the food here is amazing! This is our second trip here. We drove 1 1/2 hours to pick up 4 dozen tamales for Christmas. While we were there we had lunch too, and spent a total of $80+. We noticed they were short a tamale that we ordered for lunch so we drove back around the building. After a minute of the employees trying to figure it out I assume it was a manager came to the window looking put out. I explained we didn't get a tamale again and she started arguing with me about it and said she personally bagged it up (with quite an attitude like she's never made a mistake)... well it turned out she was wrong and she bagged it all up incorrectly. I didn't get a oops sorry or nothing.. I felt like I was being accused of trying to get 1 tamale for free... After I had just spent over $80. Give me a break!!!! read more

Love this place. Brisket tacos and breakfast tacos are out of this world. Eat here at least once a week. Always friendly and always good food read more

We've been coming here for years. Always fresh, always good, and our order is always right. I have stomach issues so have to get my food with no onions, etc. They get it right every time and are very gracious about it. read more

Very friendly. Tacos were great. Tortillas are legit! Really liked the beef fajita and the two salsa options. Loved the tomatillo and the other had just the right amount of heat. read more

This place is great, to start there green salsa is actually spicy with great flavor. I've tried most items on the menu and must say this place is like a hidden gem it's kinda hidden from the highway but well worth the visit. So if your in the area it's a must. read more

Great for breakfast and lunch. Fresh salsa roja y verde. Closes at 5.

We are here for lunch on a Friday. The food was mediocre at best. The staff was very nice but the meal was expensive for what we got. The eating area is not relaxing-- sit at benches and counters. Not a pleasant atmosphere at all and not family friendly. For the price there should have been table service. Been there-done that. read more

Hands down...the best refried beans ever! And the beans with sausage...so yum! They make my mouth water just thinking about them. I also love their beef fajita tacos, fajita bowls, and tamales. Salsa is spicy so I only add a tad to my tacos but I love that they give you cilantro, onion, and lime upon request - makes it even better. Wish they would serve chips and queso though...oh well, maybe one day. And that they stayed open longer but I'm not complaining cause everything is so good and I think they are priced so well. Highly recommend. It's a must have! read more
