Hands down the most delicious street tacos I've ever eaten. The corn tortillas were double up and on the grill long enough to cook through, resulting in great texture. Ordered the steak, carnitas, and the beef tamale. The tamale was very salty and the masa was too thin for my liking. But the meat in the tacos? Holey deliciousness!!! Seasoned perfectly, juicy, moist...sooooo good. Order came up quick, nice staff, there is a drive through, lots of parking and a ramp for ADA access. This is a MUST--EAT -AT place! read more

Street tacos are amazing!! Decent prices and always delicious. The birria tacos are my favorite, for sure. Super tender and flavorful.

Little taco place with the cheapest tacos around town. The trompo taco was seasoned well and the corn tortilla was soft. No restrooms available so come pick up & go. They also have a drive-thru. read more

$10 for the number #3 3 tacos, rice, and beans not a bad price. I ordered the pastor for the meat. The tortillas are rather cold. The meat wasn't flavorful. The rice tasted like it was re-microwaved again. I'm not very impressed. This is the first time I come here and the LAST!!! There's not much hype here. I've had better same identical meal with a drink for less than that price at Mi COCINA in Bullard, Texas and Jacksonville Texas. Those are the spots you need to go to. That's where you get your moneys worth make the drive, It's worth it.!! read more

The steak burrito was a throwback to my 80' Taco Bell days. The creamy refried beans, sour cream, sauce and meat was awesome! Can't wait to stop in next time we're in the neighborhood and need a quick stop of 20. read more

We stopped by on a whim and are super glad we did! I totally forgot to take photos of our food. I had the shredded steak burrito and my daughter had the street taco plate. First, such nice staff!! One of the lady's came out to the picnic tables just to thank the customers for stopping by! Second, great food! It was hot, perfectly spicy, and more than plentiful. I would share the burrito next time. They offer "order ahead" service. Give 'em a try! read more

Absolutely delicious! Keep your eyes peeled for the little red shack on the east side of the road. I will definitely be stopping by here when passing through Canton. Amazing tacos at an amazing price. The Barbados, carnitas, and especially the Al Pastor were cooked to perfection.

Stopped here driving through. Wow, fantastic tacos. Shredded steak, Barbacoa, and the El Pastore and Carnitas between the two of us and they were fantastic, every one of them. And the guacamole is quite good also. Can't believe there's so many cars in the Dairy Queen parking lot down the street, when Canton has this kind of eats! Highly recommend. read more

The absolute best tacos! My friend and I stumbled upon this place once we were meeting up with a friend in Canton and it was the best decision we made. The tacos were fresh and made to order. Wow, this place is the real deal! Packed with flavor, I can't believe I'm saying this but no need for salsa it was that good!! That being said the salsa verse is out of this world and it took the rice and beans to the next level. Will head back for round 2 on our way back home read more

After a visit to Yesterland Farms, we were hungry and wanted something not so overpriced. This place was perfect! My taco plate was $8, a heck of a deal. They were moving as fast as they could because they were so busy. Excellent food, definitely will come back when in the area. My 4 year old loved it too. I have no complaints. read more

Street Taco Shack is my go-to for tacos. If for no other reason than their location. Regardless of convenience, they are quick, consistent and friendly. I go for the carnitas. Definitely the best carnitas in town. If I am in a tex-mex mood, i'll grab their two enchiladas platter with chili, rice & beans. Be aware that the tacos come with cilantro, onions & cheese... I don't normally expect cheese on street tacos, so I typically order mine without cheese. It's still good with the cheese on it, just not my preference. Prices are fair, and tortillas are good quality. Portions are decent as well. I never leave hungry. It's also nice when they come out to the car to take your order and move things along more quickly. Even when they're busy, its pretty fast. read more

So good! We drive to Canton from Dallas once a year for Mother's Day. Each year we look forward to stopping at this taco stand for lunch.

Took drive-thru on Saturday lunch. A cute old lady took our order: 3 barbacoa, 3 al pastor and 3 carnitas. Chips and guac. A coke can and a water bottle. Total was ~$18. Tipped her the rest. Choose flour or corn.. CORN!! Tacos came with grilled onions and limes. LOTS of salsa verde on the side, super yummy and spicy! Barbacoa was AMAZING. Carnitas were good. Al Pastor not really spicy, more sweet. Guac was plain but fresh. I squeezed an extra lime in there. Chips are good. Overall delicious splitting with my boyfriend! Support small business! read more

Great place to stop! We were on a road trip and stopped here because of the great reviews. They were not lying, the food was delicious. My husband got a couple tacos with pastor and a shredded beef burrito. The tacos were just as a great street taco should be. The burrito was enormous and the only negative about it was that it was a bit difficult to eat. I got the quesadilla with pastor and it was fantastic. It was loaded with meat and melted soft cheese. They do not skimp on the meat here. Try this place. You will be glad you d read more

A MUST stop right off I20. I stop EVERY time I go back or forth from Dallas to East Texas. I recommend the barbacoa tacos.

Driving across country from Southern California, naturally a place named Street Taco Shack caught our eye. As soon as we pulled off the freeway and saw this gem, we knew we had made the absolute right decision to try it. Just the feel of the place was worth the stop, but then the food. Oh My Gosh! Don't tell California this, but the food here was so much better than any taco truck or hole in the wall in SoCal. If driving by, definitely stop here! read more
