Ive been using my nema 14-50 in my garage to charge my Tesla. It's been working fine but I've been getting messages of being too warm. (Granted, this is plugging after the mobile charger has been sitting in the frunk on the hottest days of the year). But I've also heard horror stories of electrical fires starting. I texted Robles about upgrading my outlet to a more industrial/EV rated outlet as a precaution. Plus, we plug and unplug the NEMA a lot which isn't recommended so maybe an upgrade would be beneficial regardless. He responded right away despite it being late at night. And we scheduled for the next morning. My wife was happy to hear since she was worried about a possible short in our current outlet after I explained the possible reasons for that warning message. Robles showed up right when he said he would. And he did the outlet swap with no issues. He found no issues with our old outlet. Very professional and friendly. Fabian is awesome! He has excellent communication, works quickly, delivers top-quality results, and truly knows what he's doing--all at the best prices around. I had seen his posts and recommendations on the Tesla Chicago Facebook page, and when I finally needed someone to install my Tesla charger, I reached out. He gave me an estimate online and completed the installation in under an hour. I was thrilled with the work! I recommended him to two of my neighbors, and he installed chargers for both of them as well. They were just as happy--especially grateful not to pay the outrageous prices some electricians charge. Also my best friend used him for his Tesla Charger as well. Most recently, I hired him again to relocate our charger at our new place. Called about a few electrical needs and someone scheduled to come quote me the next day. They arrived on time, walked through, gave us a fair price and we scheduled the work for early the next week. Then on Friday at 6pm I got a text message canceling the job for no reason. I attempted to reschedule and never got a response. We were just ghosted. Cannot recommend this company. read more

I would rate ZERO but yelp asks for min. 1 Star. So I scheduled a consultation with Fabian Robles to install a Tesla charger in my garage and for him to come by on February 8 @ 11am, he didn't call or didn't show up to the appt. He then texted later in the day saying he missed placed the time on his calendar for the following Sunday. I missed a day of work waiting for someone that was not showing up at all. I find it very irresponsible to not put a simple calendar appointment on the proper day for a job that easily is costing about $1, 500+ more, I had 3 other estimates so I know the potential costs. So we communicated via text and I agreed again for February 15 at 11 AM (I believe in second chances). I'm writing this review as of Sunday, February 16 at 1 PM and AGAIN Fabian Robles did not call and obviously did not show up for the appt and i missed another day of work waiting for him again. Worst electrician I've dealt with in terms of simply setting up an appt. and definitely does not deserve my business. 90%of success is just SHOWING UP, he can't even do that. Just wanted to let people know not to waste your time on someone who won't show up for a simple estimate and will literally waste your time. No respect. read more

We hired Robles to install a NEMA 14-50 208-250 volt plug for our Tesla. We are extremely satisfied with their work. Everything was handled in a courteous professional manner. Communication was quick and concise.They are prompt and show up exactly on time. The work was done efficiently and neatly. We went from a 110 charging at 4 mi/hr to this which charges at 30mi/hr. and are more than happy. They worked in 10 degree weather and had to trench through foundation rocks and the area looks neater than when they started! We will definitely hire them for future work. read more

Mario Robles installed underground electrical cable in 2/2021 for my home in Green Valley. During install I asked him to hand dig to avoid a buried private gas line. He just laughed at me and proceeded to power trench right through my gas line. He then said, well there's your gas line, its on you to fix it as my contract says its homeowners cost (this was an untruth as it was not in the contract)....when the Job was done about a month later...I asked him to cover the $535 cost to fix the gas line , He said I was obnoxious to even ask him that question and laughed in my face. Needless to say, he won't be back with us, or any of our 200 friends in Green Valley. read more

I needed immediate assistance to move forward with a portion of my kitchen renovation and contacted Fabian on a Friday afternoon. After explaining what was required, he quoted me $150 and agreed to come on the following Sunday!!! Once he arrived (5 minutes early) and assessed the work, he actually said it was much easier than thought and discounted $50 from the original quote! This is not to disparage anyone else, but I received other quotes that exceeded $300 for moving a whip 3 feet. Nice to come across a person with integrity and was very satisfied with Fabian's work. read more
