She educated us about the exact set up lights I was looking for. They have LED tape lights that you can actually cut to a custom length. Perfect! Those lights are bright enough to light up my kitchen yet are dimmable too. Megan also showed us some new electrical covers that are not your standard switches. We absolutely love these lights! We've been down to visit Southern Lights a few times over the years and most recently to check out their big tent sale. They have a huge tent sale in the Spring and in the Fall with lots of great deals. I would say if you can't find a light at Southern Lights, then it is just not available. So, I went ahead. He removed the can and felt around. The insulation above was dry, the Sheetrock was wet. No further explanation when I asked why that could happen. He looked outside and didn't see any signs of a hole, etc. and said he didn't know. But, if I wanted, he could change out all the cans in the kitchen/dining/living room for a mere $xx,xxx. Ridiculous. Goodbye. Would not recommend to anyone!! Expensive lesson. Always check!!

The lack of communication and consideration for my time was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I had rearranged my day to accommodate their schedule, only to be left waiting with no notice that they were running behind. A simple courtesy call letting me know they were delayed would have made a significant difference. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that my time was not respected. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Harrison Electric. This is not the level of professionalism or customer service I would expect from a company I am trusting to work on my home.

Like others it was a pleasant first visit but follow up was either slow or non-existent. We waited well more than a week for a simple price quote of some of the appliances we looked at, which came in 25% above our allowance which they were aware of. When I asked for a list of other options for refrigerators I was sent only 3 models and confirmed that was it. However when I looked at the manufacturers' websites there were at least 12 models of similar features in the price range I requested. Do they carry them or not? I have no idea. When I asked if they carried Samsung or LG (since I want to do research on every option) I was told to watch out for "those import models". Is this 1980? Are we not a global economy? Why would an "import" be a problem compared to poor quality domestic products? I don't see how that is even relevant to the decision. I am looking for options to not use Ferguson to provide appliances for our new house. I hope our builder will work with us to do so. They picked a bad partner.
