We have used Harrison Electric a number of times, and always find they go above and beyond expectations. They have innovative ideas for difficult repairs, and always get the job done. They continue to be prompt, and are most polite each time we see them. Best ever! read more

I had water leaking through a can light in my ceiling during a rainstorm and was very afraid that I had a big problem. I quickly googled emergency electrician in my area and reached out to Harrison without doing my usual review checks, etc. They quoted $79 for the call and service to be determined once the electrician was here. Ok. Once here, I was quoted over $400 for him to remove the can to look for the problem. I was shocked at the ridiculous price, but also very concerned because I knew my roof needed replacing. So, I went ahead. He removed the can and felt around. The insulation above was dry, the Sheetrock was wet. No further explanation when I asked why that could happen. He looked outside and didn't see any signs of a hole, etc. and said he didn't know. But, if I wanted, he could change out all the cans in the kitchen/dining/living room for a mere $xx,xxx. Ridiculous. Goodbye. Would not recommend to anyone!! Expensive lesson. Always check!! read more

I had a scheduled appointment with Harrison Electric and was given an 11:00 AM-1:00 PM arrival window, despite originally requesting a noon appointment because I had another appointment to attend. I agreed to accommodate their requested window and waited for them to arrive. By 1:00 PM, no one had shown up and I had received no phone call or update. I called to find out what was going on, only to be told that they were still at another job and would be there for at least another 30 minutes before even heading my way. The lack of communication and consideration for my time was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I had rearranged my day to accommodate their schedule, only to be left waiting with no notice that they were running behind. A simple courtesy call letting me know they were delayed would have made a significant difference. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that my time was not respected. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Harrison Electric. This is not the level of professionalism or customer service I would expect from a company I am trusting to work on my home. read more

Their quoted rates are so high that it's down right offensive. Being 10%, 20% even 30% higher than the competition is one thing, but 210% is entering the realm of fleecing your potential customer. Make sure you get several quotes. read more

Terrible service. First, wanted to charge $675 for just diagnosing a problem. Didn't have the tools to resolve the issue. the electrician stayed on the phone throughout because he clearly had no idea what to do. then he changed me $375 for literally doing nothing because apparently he spent a lot of time. duh, you were on the phone throughout that's why you spent so much time here. WILL NEVER Use them again. and nor should you. read more

I chose Harrison for major work many times in the past and was satifified with their professional work!

Tried to book an appointment for a relatively easy problem but was cancelled two different times because the service person was unable to come after all. Disappointing service. read more

Needed an electrician to do a simple task of replacing an light switch - they were able to come out the next day. The electrician arrived within the allotted 2 hour window. Work was done efficiently (was an easy task after all). The cost was $224 for the switch and labor - they use some flat pricing fee schedule based on the task so was probably higher than maybe others - but wasn't expecting to get it done for cheap. In general - satisfied with my first experience with Harrison. read more

I had a short in a room with very old, fabric-wrapped wires. They came the next morning. Chris explained the options very clearly (I didn't let on initially, but I know electrical work), and I decided to have a full circuit restoration. They replaced all of the wires in two rooms and a hallway; replaced all of the outlets (including adding a ground to allow 3-prong outlets), switches, and lighting fixture boxes in three rooms, split two circuits that had been wired together in the panel; and installed new circuit breakers. I also had them add a whole-house surge protector, and do some other work around the house. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work done, but I was most pleased with their straightforward explanations, professional manner, and, of course, the quality of the work done. read more

I just had John Funk work on some issues on our 2 year old house. When you initially build you try to think of everything you want but often miss a few things. John took the time to look at what I wanted and figure out the best way to make it happen. He was able to place new sockets and lights exactly where I wanted them and with some clever work fish wire to them. Awesome job! Everyone I spoke with at Harrison's was very professional and helpful. I recommend them without reservation. read more

Super easy to setup an appointment for a couple outlets that needed updating. As part of their service, the electrician provided a checklist of electrical items we could put on our list of to-dos without any hard sell or sales pitch. The quote process was easy to understand and gave us the right amount of info to make informed decisions for this project and future electrical updates. read more

I made an appointment a week ago for a simple one hour job to replace a wire lead for my electric pool cover switch. The appointment window was from 10 AM-12 PM for 08/29/2019. After taking the day off for the appointment they waited to call me until 9:30 this morning to tell me they had an "all day" job that took priority over my scheduled appointment and that they wanted to reschedule for a week later... I told them I would find someone more professional. Horrible customer service, selling out a prescheduled appointment for a more profitable one. read more

Poor customer service. Electrician "fixed" something incorrectly and tried to re-charge us to correct it. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee and wouldn't stand behind it. Spoke with the owner and he more or less spoke down to me like an idiot. Thanks for that. I don't appreciate being treated that way because I am a female. Never never never use this company!!! Overpriced and dishonest. read more

Very knowledgeable & open about options. But he had to go with the "book pricing"!!! So you pay big money no matter if he finishes early!!! Need a different system of charging. I'll consider this before calling again!!! read more

Service was very prompt. I worked with Chris who was very professional, conscientious. He kept me well informed with options and how to proceed with updating my system. I would definitely use this company again. read more

Had a great experience with Harrison Electric doing something correctly that a previous "weekend warrior" didn't finish. Nice family owned business that I'll use again if I have a need! read more

When you take the day off so that you are home for the electrician, and they call you at 8:30 and tell you the have to reschedule for the next day, not acceptable. If they overbook, they should be responsible for it, not just say the electrician can be there the next day. So - now I am expected to take two days off because they can't keep their schedule straight? Extremely unacceptable. read more

I had Harrison fix a short in an outlett, add a new circuit and add two GFI outletts. The price was reasonable and the electrician did a great job. He came to the house, wrote down what I wanted, then checked it out and wrote up a bid. The bid was detailed and clear, each step priced out, i.e. what one outlett cost, etc. He got the job done in about the time he said it would take and cleaned up the work areas. Very professional and nice. He answered my questions clearly. I highly recommend them and plan on calling them when it's time to update my kitchen. read more
